Manuel's directions were spot on & even though we arrived late he was welcoming & eager to show us what was what & recommended places to eat that night, he even went out of his way to buy us breakfast from the local supermarket the next morning. The apartment had all the amenities that we needed for food prep & washing clothes etc, outside there is a lush garden with seating & deck chairs, we unfortunately didn't have time to use the Bbq. The apartment is beautifully located within driving distance of all the places we had planned to visit, It's 10 minutes drive from the lovely Arrifana beach & surrounding bars & restaurants, just down the road there's Monte Clerigo beach, which is well worth a visit. Lagos & Sagres are a must to visit. Manuel was an amazing host & nothing was too much hassle for him, he was warm, welcoming & generous. As I mentioned before the location is great for anyone who wants to visit the local beaches & soak up the lovely food of the region.

Very peaceful and beautiful area, very nice garden and two lovely dogs. The room was very spacious and the toilet the same. Very well equiped, and the host was nice and helpful. It's close to a shop and some restaurants, and pretty close to the beach (for a car). The only things not perfect was that the air circulation in the room was not so good, and that if you have a neighbour in the next room the sound travels through an air vent and you can hear almost everything - which can be challenging if you have a light sleep. Thank you for hosting us :)
