Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Alijó

Fernando und seine Frau haben uns sehr lieb empfangen, ja sie haben uns noch eine Flasche Wein 🍷 als Willkommens Geschenk hingestellt. Die haben wir auch am Abend gleich geöffnet und auf unseren Urlaub angestoßen. Leider mussten wir aus gesundheitlichen Gründen unseren Urlaub verfrüht abbrechen. Loved it! The apartment was gorgeous, spacious, very clean and in the perfect location overseeing the Douro River. There are several great restaurants, grocery stores and wineries within walking distance. We had everything we needed and a few extras that made our stay even more special. The host was very responsive and checked in with us frequently. I didn’t want to leave!

C'est un endroit magnifique. Une très belle vue directement de la terasse. Ça vaut le déplacement et je recommande fortement!

Lovely home high on a hillside with gorgeous views from inside and 3 outside areas. As is expected, the drive and the path to the house are steep and cobblestoned, quite an adventure! Wish we could have stayed longer. . .

La maison de Raquel est très bien située, un peu sur les hauteurs, avec une jolie vue sur les collines, non loin du Douro. Elle est très calme, les seuls bruits sont ceux du chant des oiseaux. Quel plaisir de profiter de la jolie piscine et de la terrasse, qui appellent à la zenitude. Raquel est très sympa dans les échanges et très réactive. Tout était parfait !

Quite a hike up the hill if you don’t have a car, just bear that in mind. Also if you’re going into town to eat, the same applies. However the upside of course is that the views are outstanding. Quiet and tranquil, we were extremely happy with our stay. Great hiking on the doorstep, lots of wine tasting if that’s your thing. One very nice touch was the traditional custard tarts and lovely bread/rolls left outside our door each morning by our host. Very nice touch indeed

Tout était parfait à l’exception du manque d’insonorisation entre les chambres et le manque de linges à vaisselle pour essayer et nettoyer. Merci beaucoup !

We had a fanstastic stay at Jane's place. Surrounded with beautiful hikes, great vineyards and plenty of amazing activities. The flat was perfect and Jane was a wonderful host with a lot of little kind touches. On top of that she was really helpful and arranged a cot for our baby. The flat was really clean, comfortable bed, great location, packed with everything we might need. We can also say the neighbours and locals were really friendly too. Would highly recommend!

Nous recommandons ce logement pour toutes les personnes qui souhaiteraient découvrir la vallée du Douro et passer un agréable moment dans un village typiquement local. Le lieu est très calme et la literie excellente ce qui permet de se reposer parfaitement entre deux balades.

Very comfortable place to stay in the centre of Pinhao. Really nice touches, complementary cake and port in the room and a welcome drink in the bar downstairs.

Ana was a great host, the apartment was fully stocked and had so many special additions, like meat, cheese, and bread, fruit, eggs, and other breakfast foods in the pantry. Fresh bread on the door in the morning!! Wine in the refrigerator😃 Pinhao is great to explore and be a homebase. It was wonderful to relax on the balcony and play cards in the living room after a long day of fun.

We loved staying at Vitor’s property. The view from the balcony was absolutely amazing. The apartment was well equipped. Vitor was a lovely host who showed us his wine making business and gave us local recommendations. He also made sure we have candles when the was a long power outage in the whole country and made us feel like he’s giving us extra thought.

Все было идеально! Жилье выглядит даже лучше чем на фото. Очень удобное, продуманное и красивое жилье. Есть все для длительного проживания. Очень комфортная кровать, удобный диван, кухня оснащена всем необходимым и прекрасная терраса. Мы провели здесь месяц и с уверенность могу рекомендовать это жилье. Расположение отличное, это самый центр города и очень тихо. Магазины, продуктовые магазины, бары и рестораны рядом.

Die Unterkunft war hervorragend!!! Blitzsauber und luxuriös ausgestattet. Ich fühlte mich sehr verwöhnt und habe den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Ich kann die Wohnung nur jedem empfehlen. Meine Gastgeber waren sehr geduldig und überaus freundlich, obwohl ich viel später ankam, als geplant.

We had a wonderful stay at Manu’s place! He was very communicative and gave us clear check in instructions. Would definitely love to stay there again
