House vacation rentals in Alfama, Lisbon

Our trampoline squad had been in Lisbon for The Cascias Beach Cup and were left stranded at the airport after the countries black out. Our two coaches and 5 children were stranded at the airport with nowhere to stay and no flights home. Guilherme came to the house to meet the squad at 22:45 and supported them to settle in despite no power. The next day Guilherme arrived with a breakfast package and recommendations of where to get the things they needed for the unexpected stay in Portugal and with the coaches bags stuck at the airport. Nothing was too much trouble and Guilherme kindly extended the stay when they could not get flights home until 3 days later. Guilherme you made a very stressful situation as hassle free as possible - Thankyou so much for your empathy, kindness and generosity.

Nous avons passé deux nuits à 12 dans le logement. Tout était incroyable ! Un vrai moment hors du temps. Rien à dire sur la propreté, les équipements etc. Il y a le Lidl juste à côté qui ferme à 21h ce qui est très pratique. C'est un lieu très calme, la literie est bonne, nous avons tous très bien dormi. C'était une arrivée autonome mais les hôtes étaient tout de même réactif aux messages ou appels. Toujours prêt à nous aider. Un grand merci à eux ! Le petit plus, je vous conseil de prendre la piscine chauffée en cette période, les soirées sont fraîches et ça fait vraiment du bien de s'y baigner le soir. C'est ce que nous avons fait, et c'était top.

Maison confortable et bien située près des plages. J'ai aimé la localisation, la maison et son jardin. Susana est charmante et toujours disponible. Je reviendrai avec plaisir. Merci pour tout

Olá eu e a minha esposa adoramos o espaço tudo que estava nas fotos foi o que encontramos foi uma excelente estadia fica próximo de tudo ir para Cascais, rossio, Belém, colombo e aeroporto sempre que gor a Portugal voi procurar o apartamento do Cristopher só detalhe dimples faltava as cadeiras da piscina msis do testo foi muito confortável obrigado pela estadia Raul e Sandra um abraço diretamente da Noruega Oslo

Loved staying here. A fantastic place to stay with family/ friends ! The place is big and lovely. The pool is lovely. They have a bbq there lots of kids toys to keep lil ones busy. The place was clean The host was lovely very kind always responsive.

We loved our stay here! Would definitely come again! Fell in love with Luna the dog. Swimming pool was lovely and couldn’t have asked for a better accommodation, perfect size and so clean! Lovely welcoming family😀

Beautiful and well-equipped house with lots of amenities, very clean, minutes walk from the beach and from lots of restaurants and stores, quick drive across the bridge to Lisbon, acommodating and responsive host.

Great stay - apartment is well equipped and furnished to a high standard! Appreciated the soundproofing on the ceiling too. Very clean, comfortable and lovely little touches like the coffee, wine, smart TV and lovely interior design. There’s an easy bus that takes you to the old town and the apartment is only 15 mins walk from a world famous museum, some lovely parks and a nice shopping area. Good local amenities within a few minutes too (groceries, pharmacy etc.). A peaceful place that’s within easy reach of the city centre :) finally, Antonio was a very responsive and helpful host - thank you!

Katerina was very proactive, responsive, and a caring host. Any issues or questions I had were quickly addressed. Her English is excellent, so there were no issues with language barriers. I stayed for 30 days, so the weekly cleaning was nice in that the apartment stayed in good condition without much effort on my part. It’s a very pretty apartment with a lot of character: art, books, etc. It did make me worry that I would accidentally mix up my stuff with the apartment’s and consequently forget it at checkout. I alleviated this worry by limiting where I put my possessions to only a couple locations. New tenants: Be sure to get the unit’s Lote number (groupings of the apartments, displayed on the apartment complex external doors) before you arrive, or maybe ask for the location/pin of the best external door to access the apartment. For the address provided, most apps will take you a bit further into the apartment complex, which can be a bit of a hike if you have luggage.

this place is great with 2 terraces. great for coffee in the morning. kitchen is very well equipped. the stairs are are very tight, I kept my big suitcase on the main floor. great location. I would go back in a hart beat.

Excelente estadia, muito limpo e organizado. O Antônio é uma ótima pessoa, muito prestativo.. nos indicou vários passeios e pontos turísticos.

Had an Amazing stay! Near the beaches and 20 min from Lisbon!

We had a great stay with Gem & Gary. They are incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful. The house is lovely and had everything we needed. It’s also just a few minutes walk from some amazing beaches.

L’arrivée dans le logement a été très facile. L’hôte est prévenant et réactif, avec de petites attentions à l’arrivée, comme des fournitures mises à disposition en cadeau de bienvenue. Très bon séjour !

We stayed at this Airbnb in March with our family and had a fantastic time. The house is very spacious and perfectly located. It’s an excellent place to stay with friends, especially for a surf trip. I highly recommend it! During the colder period we experienced, the mobile heaters were really useful, but I can imagine it's even nicer in the summer. The hosts were also very flexible with check-in and check-out, which we really appreciated. Thanks for an amazing stay!

Nous étions 4 couples à séjourner chez Daniel pour 3 nuits. Nous avons passés un très bon séjour. La localisation est top, pas très loin du métro et du centre ville, à seulement 30 min également de l'aéroport. Très bien équipé. Très agréable aussi d'avoir chacun sa salle de bain. Daniel et Ana Lucia étaient très réactifs en cas de besoin.

We rented the apartment together with my girlfriend for 2 weeks. During this time we worked and there was no problem with the internet. The apartment is located right next to the beach. Close to stores and many restaurants. The value for money is very good! The owner also allowed us to check out a few hours later as we had a return flight in the afternoon. Highly recommended :)

We had a lovely 5 week stay here. The hosts were very responsive whenever we had a question and the location was truly perfect. The AC provides heating which is rare for Portugal but really handy if you are coming outside of summer. The pool is slightly heated. If working remotely you may find the seating a bit uncomfortable for prolonged periods of time though so maybe have a look at some of the local coworking spaces as well. If you have mobility difficulties I would also look elsewhere due to the narrow spiral staircase and low ceilings upstairs.

Great central location to Belém. Easy to park on the street, can walk to shops and local tourist attractions. Short train trip into Lisbon central. The house is a traditional house for the area. It is a good size for four people. Basic kitchen and bathroom. Comfy beds, plenty of hot water, dishwasher. Lovely space outside in the garden surrounded by lemon trees. The extra space in the annex is great if you need to work from home and also a laundry. Very good communication with the hosts. I would recommend Ricardo's place if you want to visit Lisbon and surroundings but not be right in the centre and if you want a traditional Portuguese house experience. We have stayed in Belém before and really like the area.

Wir haben die Tage in dem Haus in Trafaria sehr genossen, gute Architektur, schöne Innenräume. Die interessanten Ausblicke aus den Räumlichkeiten in den Innenhof sowie aus dem einen Zimmer auf den Tajo haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir haben hier im Ort zwei Restaurants (Taberna Manuel da Gorda und OS6) besucht, beide kann man empfehlen. Ganz in der Nähe mehrere kleine Läden mit excellentem Angebot an frischen Zutaten für das Selberkochen. Die Küche in dem Haus ist hierfür gut ausgestattet. Erwähnenswert ist die Markthalle mit einem Fischstand und einer Keramikwerkstatt, wo man selbst Keramikobjekte kreieren kann. Zum Atlantik zu Fuß 30 Minuten oder mit Bolt-Uber-Taxi 20 Minuten nach Praia Caparica. Die Überfahrt mit der Fähre nach Belem war auch jedesmal ein kleines Erlebnis für sich.

We've had a lovely stay just a couple of hundred meters from the center of Belém. The host was quick to respond and met all of our expectations. The humidity is high, but there was a dehumidifier that worked great. The place is well-equipped with everything you would need if you were to live there.
