Vacation rentals with lake access in Alexandra Headland

Most enjoyable stay at Andrew and Danne’s beach house over Easter. Travelled with 3 adult children and their spouses so 8 adults in total and a 4 month old baby and a happy chihuahua. Plenty of space to stretch out over the property, never felt cramped, lots to do including fishing on the pontoon (caught 2 bream and a crab!), swimming in the pool and spa, reading by the pool while others played board games or watching a movie. The beach was a comfortable 15 minute stroll away and the shops a short drive. The house was very comfortable and clean. We created many memories together in the beach house, we would recommend staying in this home. Thank you Andrew and Danne for a hassle free trip and opening your home to us to enjoy. Thank you .

The house was perfect for our needs. We had a family gathering for my mother’s 80th birthday. We had 9 people and two small dogs and heaps of room for everyone. We had a lot of rain unfortunately but there is a lovely undercover area that was well used. The location is perfect, off street parking for many cars. Lis is quick to reply and very efficient and accommodating. We highly recommend this property.

Omg! This house is absolutely beautiful and my family & I were thrilled with the space, the layout, the decor & the amount of areas there were to be altogether or then go to if you preferred some quiet time alone . Having our own personal jetty for fishing was a game changer for the (father) males who loved being able to throw a rod in at anytime with the young children still being able to see them safely from behind the glass fence while they explored the rock path themselves. Was also a bonus not having to pack the car up and travel with all the fishing gear elsewhere. Was well equipped to fit our five cars in the driveway plus one more in the lockup garage, which is normally a concern when going away with the size of streets & not bothering locals or neighbours. Then there was the biggest back sliding door that opened up to the covered entertainment area, with the most amazing retractable fly screen we've ever seen. This was genius.

10/10 – A stay we’ll never forget! From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the stunning decor😍 it’s clear that so much love and care has gone into making this place feel like a home. Every little detail was thought of, from the beautiful design touches to the thoughtful amenities that made our stay so easy and comfortable. Our kids were in absolute heaven—the toy selection kept them entertained for hours, and the pool was the ultimate highlight! It made for the perfect family holiday, and seeing our kids so happy made it even more special. Cassandra, you were an incredible host—so warm, so responsive, and so helpful from start to finish. We felt so looked after & responded asap when I communicated with you. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. We’ll definitely be back—this place is a hidden gem! 🫶🏽

We had a great time considering the weather wasn’t the best. We loved that our dog was literally walking distance to an off the leash dog beach and only 5 mins car ride to Hastings st . I definitely would stay there again

Myself and my family very much enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. It is literally a few minutes walk from the beach behind the house. We enjoyed the use of the outdoor fireplace, Bikes , pool and connected spa and the ping pong table. To Wake early to see the sun rise on the beach and a moments walk away was wonderful. We also enjoyed a lovely Greek meal at a local restaurant called the Vrina Mezze bar. A lovely short break.

Our stay at Alice’s place was fantastic! The house was impeccably clean and well-stocked with everything we needed. Alice was very accommodating, responsive and provided great local tips. We can’t wait to come back!

We loved staying at Katrina's place. Our dog loved the backyard, the front deck (especially in the arvo sun). The house is amazing, it was spotless and had everything you could need. Katrina was an amazing host who was very communicative, friendly and informative. 10/10 would stay again.

I just wanted to mention that the view was spectacular. We took our binoculars and were able to look up and down the river, as well as out to the ocean and the Glasshouse mountains. It’s an easy walk to the restaurants, shops, and the beautiful Cotton Tree. The unit was clean and tidy, and I would definitely recommend this destination.

Amazing place to stay! The apartment was super clean & tidy. Loved the furniture/decor 😍 Thoroughly enjoyed our time here & would recommend to everyone!! The only slight problem we had was when we were trying to access the letterbox/lock box. Instructions said pull but it’s more of a “flick out” but Rita was very responsive when we message for help! Overall loved this place & we will be back! ☺️

this is our second stay and again absolutely loved being here we will 100% be return guests it's a home away from just 1 million times better. A great spot to stay if you want to be in the centre of things. Central to supermarkets and restaurants. We just wanted to stop and chill. It rained most of the time so stop we did. The most comfortable beds and pillows. Just the best. Sleep at the front if you want white noise or in the rear if you like more quiet. Really appreciated all the little things in the cupboards and cleaning items. Shower great. Fabulous fridge with never ending ice. Pool lovely on the one day we could visit it. Michelle’s communications were great and very responsive.

Such a lovely place to stay and so spacious, 100% would recommend.

Felt like a home more than a place to stay. This is a place that claims to have a fully equipped kitchen and then lives up to the claims with everything you need. Its the small things that make the difference and i commend the owner on her attention to detail that made our stay really comfortable. From condiments in the pantry, games for the kids, super comfy beds and even a spare gas bottle in the event you run out. Can find a negative. to use an Arnold Schwarzenegger quote - "Ill be back"

We stayed for my best friends 30th girls weekend getaway & were already planning a family getaway back at Gwenda’s before the weekend was even over! We loved the location & the accomodation itself was everything we hoped for & more! Such an amazing stay - we can’t wait to come back again.

This was a great and relaxing stay. The property is off the beaten path and we were able to see kangaroos and paddle in the mangroves while also being a short drive from the beach and nearby towns. The only thing about the stay was that it wasn’t long enough to truly relax! Thanks again to Rob for the great stay

Christine was an amazing host. Always replying within a couple of hours no matter the question asked . The lodge was absolutely stunning, privet lake pontoon, which I used to propose to my girlfriend. a free canoe included in your stay. perfect for going to see the sting rays in the lake / creek. Lots of wildlife around. log fire kept the place nice and warm. would 100% stay here again,

Our Stay at Lake Weyba Cottages was great! Ashley was helpful and her instructions were clear and the cottage was presented immaculately. Stunning surrounds and we felt at home surrounded by the lush grenery. The farm animals were a bonus along with the guest shed which had bikes and other items available to use. Will be back!
