Vacation rentals with lake access in Alexandra Headland

Our stay at Pelican waters was just what we needed, from inside to outside As we wanted to enjoy each other's company and not go out there was enough for us to do together with in the house from enjoying the spa and pool and able to use the kayaks. The Kitchen was a dream we had few cooks in there and all able to sit around the island bench at the same time with a little light under it... The games provided where also a hit with us especially the free standing connect 4 We had amazing stay and we would recommend you to stay here Big Thank You Mandy and Steph

Most enjoyable stay at Andrew and Danne’s beach house over Easter. Travelled with 3 adult children and their spouses so 8 adults in total and a 4 month old baby and a happy chihuahua. Plenty of space to stretch out over the property, never felt cramped, lots to do including fishing on the pontoon (caught 2 bream and a crab!), swimming in the pool and spa, reading by the pool while others played board games or watching a movie. The beach was a comfortable 15 minute stroll away and the shops a short drive. The house was very comfortable and clean. We created many memories together in the beach house, we would recommend staying in this home. Thank you Andrew and Danne for a hassle free trip and opening your home to us to enjoy. Thank you .

The house was perfect for our needs. We had a family gathering for my mother’s 80th birthday. We had 9 people and two small dogs and heaps of room for everyone. We had a lot of rain unfortunately but there is a lovely undercover area that was well used. The location is perfect, off street parking for many cars. Lis is quick to reply and very efficient and accommodating. We highly recommend this property.

Omg! This house is absolutely beautiful and my family & I were thrilled with the space, the layout, the decor & the amount of areas there were to be altogether or then go to if you preferred some quiet time alone . Having our own personal jetty for fishing was a game changer for the (father) males who loved being able to throw a rod in at anytime with the young children still being able to see them safely from behind the glass fence while they explored the rock path themselves. Was also a bonus not having to pack the car up and travel with all the fishing gear elsewhere. Was well equipped to fit our five cars in the driveway plus one more in the lockup garage, which is normally a concern when going away with the size of streets & not bothering locals or neighbours. Then there was the biggest back sliding door that opened up to the covered entertainment area, with the most amazing retractable fly screen we've ever seen. This was genius.

We had a fantastic stay! The house was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The beds were super comfortable, and the kitchen was very well-equipped with all the little extras that make a difference. There were plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained, and it's clear the hosts have thought of all the small details. One of the better Airbnbs we’ve stayed in—would definitely recommend!

Every little detail was thought of, from the beautiful design touches to the thoughtful amenities that made our stay so easy and comfortable. Our kids were in absolute heaven—the toy selection kept them entertained for hours, and the pool was the ultimate highlight! It made for the perfect family holiday, and seeing our kids so happy made it even more special. Cassandra, you were an incredible host—so warm, so responsive, and so helpful from start to finish. We felt so looked after & responded asap when I communicated with you. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. We’ll definitely be back—this place is a hidden gem! 🫶🏽

We had a great time considering the weather wasn’t the best. We loved that our dog was literally walking distance to an off the leash dog beach and only 5 mins car ride to Hastings st . I definitely would stay there again

Great four day stay with the family. Plenty of space for the dogs but beware no fencing in the back yard which we were aware of. Dogs were fine in front yard area. Has everything you need for the beach, towels, chairs and other items. Take bushman's if you get eaten. Pool was nicely heated. All bedrooms had their own bathrooms which my adult kids loved. plenty of spots to walk to.

I just wanted to mention that the view was spectacular. We took our binoculars and were able to look up and down the river, as well as out to the ocean and the Glasshouse mountains. It’s an easy walk to the restaurants, shops, and the beautiful Cotton Tree. The unit was clean and tidy, and I would definitely recommend this destination.

Amazing place to stay! The apartment was super clean & tidy. Loved the furniture/decor 😍 Thoroughly enjoyed our time here & would recommend to everyone!! The only slight problem we had was when we were trying to access the letterbox/lock box. Instructions said pull but it’s more of a “flick out” but Rita was very responsive when we message for help! Overall loved this place & we will be back! ☺️

Jacqueline is a super host and her Unit space is truely accessible for an assisted wheelchair user. This is our second visit and she has always been a cheerful and positive sole who truely goes all out to support your stay. The onsite folder is full of information and instructions for all your indoor and outdoor comfort, activities and meals. Jacqueline also went the extra mile to find us some examples of local weekday entertainment such as Trivia Nights and Open mics. Our supported w/c companion, has very much enjoyed the indulgence of the recliner chair and the sea views from his bed. We noted some extra fun equipment too like yoga mats, pool noodles and a boogie board. Nearby Mooloolaba SLC has Beach Chairs for booking through the local council and there is 10 Pin Bowling within walking distance. A truely wonderful host and a one of a kind space WITH A VIEW for an assisted wheelchair user!! Thanks Jacqueline x

Absolutely beautiful flat in a great location in Marcoola. Close to everywhere on the Sunshine close but has its own unique community. Marg was a great communicator and I couldn’t have asked for more. I travelled solo this time but perfect flat for a couple. Nice touches everywhere and quality fittings. Thanks Marg. I would highly recommend.

Enjoyed my stay. Weekend away to see a concert then visited local restaurants in Bokarina. Great location. The accommodation is very quiet, secure, comfortable and no hassle with check in or check out. Super comfy bed. Very good value on the weekend instead of a hotel.

If I could give 6 stars I would! We walked into the most beautiful spacious and clean apartment. It was such a lovely experience. Everything was immaculate and clean. Attention to detail was everywhere, including the treats and refreshments waiting on arrival. The freshest sheets and towels. Val really invests into the guest experience and you can feel it. Only a 2 min walk to the beach. Perfect place to stay!

We stayed for my best friends 30th girls weekend getaway & were already planning a family getaway back at Gwenda’s before the weekend was even over! We loved the location & the accomodation itself was everything we hoped for & more! Such an amazing stay - we can’t wait to come back again.

All I can say is WOW! The cottage was so cosy and the surrounding area was insanely picturesque. We were able to explore in between the rain and there were endless options - a walk to the lake, around the gazebo, to the animals, bike riding etc. There was also so much firewood available, which I feel is rare to have provided by accom! We will absolutely be back!!!

A wonderful stay with a kind and welcoming host. Viv is very friendly and great company with some amazing stories. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this peaceful environment. This was a great and relaxing stay. The property is off the beaten path and we were able to see kangaroos and paddle in the mangroves while also being a short drive from the beach and nearby towns. The only thing about the stay was that it wasn’t long enough to truly relax! Thanks again to Rob for the great stay

Christine was an amazing host. Always replying within a couple of hours no matter the question asked . The lodge was absolutely stunning, privet lake pontoon, which I used to propose to my girlfriend. a free canoe included in your stay. perfect for going to see the sting rays in the lake / creek. Lots of wildlife around. log fire kept the place nice and warm. would 100% stay here again,

Our Stay at Lake Weyba Cottages was great! Ashley was helpful and her instructions were clear and the cottage was presented immaculately. Stunning surrounds and we felt at home surrounded by the lush grenery. The farm animals were a bonus along with the guest shed which had bikes and other items available to use. Will be back!
