Two double sliding doors open to the large screened Porch were you can just relax and don’t forget the sunsets. The bathroom has a large walk in rain head shower The two bedrooms have full size very comfortable mattresses. A full size kitchen and a nice eating area. Two docks for fishing or just relaxing. Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Secluded home yet close to town. Nestled in a quiet cove right off the main channel on Lake Hickory. It has a heated indoor pool so even in the winter time you can enjoy the water with view of the lake. There is a dock as well. So if you happen to want to enjoy the lake, you can. Excellent Location. "Hideaway Cove" is a cozy 2-bedroom 2-bathroom 1900 sq ft. lake house rental is located on the best cove on Lake Hickory in the lovely Players Ridge public golf community. Completely remodeled kitchen. Take advantage of the private dock. Bring your own boat or rent one at the marina. The lake depth is about 5 feet at the dock. Lake Hickory is only 45 minutes from Blowing Rock and an hour from Charlotte and Asheville. Dog Friendly!

If I could give them a higher rating I would! By far the best Airbnb I've ever stayed at and that is well over 30 stays! Linda and Greg were phenomenal hosts! Their place was HUGE and amazing! They thought of everything I could have possibly needed and I stayed 30 days, cooking most days, multiple times a day! The area is so peaceful and serene, in a "quasi" rural setting, yet only 10 - 20 minutes away from town where you can find all that you may need. Internet was fast, which was a must as I work from "home". As large as the place is, they made it so cozy and comfortable. This is easily the best recommendation I have made to date, you need to stay there!

My family and I loved this home so much that we can’t wait to go back. The home is beautiful inside and out. Fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds, amazing deck and dock. The view from this home is absolutely gorgeous. We loved watching people enjoying the lake on their boats and jet skis. My daughters loved the paddle boat. The home is fully supplied with life vests also. We really appreciated that. This home outshined any home I ever booked. 10 out of 10! Can’t get over the views and multiple decks. We will be back :).

We loved our Thanksgiving stay at Ollie’s Hideaway in Hickory. It provided us plenty of room to celebrate the holiday with our growing family, including an infant, toddler and child. Highlights: extremely clean - spotless bathrooms! Plenty of cookware and utensils in the kitchen available for use. Gorgeous fall views - leaves falling all around and easily viewable through large windows all around the upper floor. Lots of space!! This house is larger and more beautiful that can even be shown through the pictures. Lowlights: Unfortunately the tv in the downstairs bedroom would not work for us and the air hockey table didn’t seem to be blowing air on both ends which made it more difficult to play - neither of these are a big deal but worth the mention. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay. The whole house was extremely clean, comfortable and in a very peaceful location. Sam was very quick to respond to all messages and was always helpful. The house is very roomy and has plenty of space to spread out and relax. We highly recommend this house and would love to stay here again if in the area. Thank you!

This place is a real jem. My family and I were needing a relaxing quiet few days and we got just that. from morning to night it was awesome. The spot on the lake is not in a heavy traffic area. Our kids were constantly on the provided paddle boards & Kayaks. They are close to marina's where you can rent boats for the day, week or whatever you like. All in all a great experience with an awesome host!

Lakefront Relaxing w/ Pool Table

This place is amazing! It was so peaceful! My husband and I absolutely loved our 2 week stay there… it was fully stocked of everything you need, a pool table, a nice front porch to sit and watch the sun set, right on the river….it was so quiet, bed slept really well and the host was only a message away if you needed anything! We also loved daily visits from Ms. moo, the house cat! She was so pretty! I felt so at home at this location. I would definitely recommend! If I’m back in the area, I would definitely stay there again and again!
