Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Alentejo

Very cozy home, with nice view from the balcony (the flowers were in bloom, that added to the experience). The outside of the building did not correspond with the cozy inside. 5 minute walk from the lovely beach, 10 minute walk to the supermarket.

Thank you Norbert for restoring our faith in Airbnb! The place was exactly as described, local to everything and nice little touches like beer and juice in the fridge were appreciated. The kitchen was well equipped with pots and pans as well as a range of condiments. Beds were comfortable and great choice on TV.

Candida was lovely and at check in, gave up local knowledge and tour of house, which was clean and very functional. They had a hair dryer, nice when traveling to not need your own or worry with voltage and a small space heater which was nice for our unusually cold days. There's two bedrooms, one with a comfortable bed (not too firm or too soft) and one that was a bit thinner and softer, so you have options! There was an induction stove top and microwave with a convection feature, good for warming things though probably not good for baking. The only con was unfortunately the towels and sheets are washed in a strongly scented detergent-common for Portugal but still bothersome. The location has great parking very close and free and is in a lovely neighborhood.

We were great at this cozy little house. We were made to short the stay and we left this little paradise wanting to stay more days. In case of visiting this area again we will repeat without thinking twice. Thank you Anna

Very nice cottage! Beautiful decor, lots of space to store things. Spacious bathroom, with enough hot water. Beautiful outdoor seating, swimming pool nicely maintained. Upon arrival there was some bread, water, fruit, jam,... super attentive! Highly recommended, very nice area, a 10-minute drive away you are in shops, restaurants,...

Impeccable exterior for this kind of rental, sun, swimming pool, terrace, fireplace-barbecue, house "like at home" with everything you need to live there, well equipped with household electronics, quiet despite the "Portuguese" dogs who often bark at night but almost not in our case, quiet in the neighborhood, the market 100m from the house and supermarkets that are not very far either, my favorite beach (Princesa) 5 minutes by car.

Vivian was very helpful and gave very clear instructions. The house is fabulous and located in a great condominium. Close to the main parts of the city. Wholeheartedly recommended!!

Andrea and James are by car the best hosts I’ve had ever encountered. We had the “blessing” of arriving to Lisbon on the black out day and even without any electricity, our stay was magical. The jacuzzi was still warm so me and my partner spent the night stargazing and enjoying the bubbly wine that kindly Andrea left it for us. This property is a true oasis and a romantic escape, it has anything you’ll need for a long holiday . Their 2 little furry friends were the highlight if you enjoy the company of dogs as much as we do, we felt so welcomed and loved by them! We truly wish that we had spent our two nights in Lisbon at Andrea’s place. Highly recommend it 🫶

My Portuguese home! I stayed for two months - could have stayed longer. The vibe of this place is wonderful, it instantly feels warm and cosy. A place to relax and recalibrate. The gardens are beautiful with lemon trees welcoming you from the entrance, almond trees blossoming and roses surrounding you whilst you dine alfresco. Kathleen was a super host, responsive and attentive. Lilian looked after me on site impeccably, even saving me after I’d locked myself out! Adriano was super friendly when he came weekly to clean the pool and look after the garden. The kitchen is great for home cooking with everything you need. The main shower was delicious and the main bed was like a dream. Everything has been thought about and is setup as a home and not as a airbnb (or hotel). Thanks Kathleen, see you again soon!

We have stayed in Vladimir’s apartment two years in a row. In our view, the apartment is excellent and Vladimir js a fantastic host.

Perfect place to slow down and enjoy! We had a family reunion and there was space for everyone to feel comfortable. Kids had a blast with animals and all the equipment available to them. We will definitely come back and will recommend to anyone planning a stay with friends or family.

This is a perfect location for a short combined work / break. Excellent outdoor space, fast internet, room to work, interesting old town and plenty to do if you want to go further afield. Super close to Faro airport and easy to get an Uber.

Paulo was helpful & communicative. He made the process of getting into the apartment very easy, and the space was great for me as a solo traveler. Great location. Despite being on the ground floor it is a quiet street, there is occasional street noise but it is barely an issue - few cars or pedestrians pass on this street.

We stayed at Carmen’s house with our grandchildren and there are so many things for them to do. It’s really set up great for families. Everything we needed in the kitchen, town markets are walkable. We had a fantastic time!

We enjoyed the beautiful, spacious house, located in a beautiful garden. We arrived 2 days earlier than planned and Guy helped us very well with converting the booking. Recommended accommodation without hesitation. As soon as we arrived, Mickaël was there to welcome us. He is very friendly. The house is impeccable, the entire private ground floor with private pool. A tenant lives upstairs but has their own access to the outside so no worries, they are discreet so if you see them once it's fine. The pool is bigger than in the photos so really interesting with barbecue and terrace. We loved our stay at Mickaël's and will come back without hesitation. As for the dog mentioned in several reviews, yes the neighbors have dogs, they are behind the wall on the barbecue side in kennels but during the day they are not there... you hear the barking a little in the evening and at night but it's really not all night or others in any case it can't ruin I think your stay unless a barking bothers you. House really lived up to our expectations.
