Family-friendly vacation rentals in Alenquer

We had a really lovely stay in Ana’s house - it is very comfortable and stylish and looks exactly as pictured in the photos. The garden and pool are fantastic. Ana was really helpful and gave us some great recommendations- we would love to come back!

Great host! We loved the breakfast in the morning and Hélder had the jacuzzi ready for us when we arrived within an hour of booking!

Wonderful home that matches the host. Stunning from inside to out and very well maintained. The children (and adults) were very entertained with the arcade room and others. Great bbq which I recommend using as not many restaurants for large groups (unless you drive a bit) the kitchen was excellent, not only was it fully equipped, but the equipment was all in very good order to use. Good size grounds where the kids could burn energy and it’s helped to have such large car space at the front as we had 3 vehicles. As we went in December with the cooler weather the pool didn’t quite heat up enough to use (although the daring kids braved the chill and went in a couple of times). Also due to the cooler months it was difficult to get longer periods of hot water so we had to be mindful of when taking showers etc. Overall this is a 5* property and host and couldn’t recommend enough!

We had a wonderful stay in this large modern villa. It was light and bright with lots of space for everybody. It was close to many attractions on the Silver Coast and a half hour drive could give you a new adventure. It was always a pleasure to return home to this peaceful and quiet neighborhood and bright and spacious home.

Beautiful house and very clean to spend a few days with the family.

Wonderful place to stay with family, children especially would find the place delightful, with old parts of the mill decorating the front yard and providing an interesting diversion for the kids. Place is thoughtfully constructed and furnished by superb hosts Nuno and Cristiana. Would recommend without hesitation.

Charming and peaceful.Elio was very friendly and helpful to us and spoke very good English which helped since we do not have much Portuguese. The cottage was lovely and the surrounding countryside stunning. We enjoyed the pool and also the little plunge pool just outside our front door.

Maria's house is ideally located between land and sea. It is clean, spacious and has a beautiful garden. The proximity to the beach is a significant asset (between 5 and 10 minutes by car). The location of the house allows you to be close to typical Portuguese villages but also quickly in major cities including Lisbon. We thank Maria for her welcome, trust, availability and flexibility.

Unique accommodation in a 100 + year old mill with mill decor partially preserved. Beautifully located with great views. Sandra received us with great warmth and generosity. We had wishes to see more mills and Clotilde was very helpful. A home we are happy to recommend.

I wanted to organize my birthday in a different place and which place I chose. Very nice space, bigger than it looks on the pictures. Everything was very clean and we were very well received by Ana who always showed great sympathy.

Lovely to meet Jose and his wife who checked us in. House and pics as described. Clean and tidy. Bed linen and towels all crisp and clean. House has everything you need. Secure parking and safe for doggy. Lovely quiet location at the top of the village, fantastic sunsets. 5 mins by car to the beach and big supermarkets.... all you could ask for Pool a bit cold this time of year, only got my toes in, but can imagine its beautifully positioned for summer days.

We spent 1 week vacationing in great conditions . The rental matches the listing description. The house is close to shops and especially several beautiful beaches such as Nazaré and Houseboat. You can book without hesitation.

We loved our visit, as apartment was comfortable, pool was awesome, close to everything, and she was a very attentive host.

Manuel is a welcoming and very available host, his house is spacious, pleasant in a bucolic outdoor setting, quiet base to shine in Lisbon and around. Maintenance of the swimming pool and exteriors carried out by Manuel's friendly son-in-law. Perfect stay!

Lo pasamos nuy bien an la casa de Véronique. We liked the layout of the house (all sleepers have their own bathroom and most of their own living room, which provided some privacy to those (and when) wanted it). The house is well ameublada and very clean. The kitchen is well equipped. The beach, never crowded, is close (although the car is quite steep) and the pool heated at 25 degrees is another aliocinte. Two mini-markets are a 15 minute walk and there are several supermarkets at a similar time per car. There are possibilities to have many local excursions (Sintra, Obidoss etc.).

The location and accommodation are as shown in the photos. The house is beautiful, very cozy and very well decorated! Rui and Mila are very welcoming and very friendly! We were welcomed like princes! Full of special touches with local products. I would recommend it 100%

Eduardo’s home is wonderful ! Such a peaceful place for you to get away and connect with nature. The drive to the mountain was a bit confusing but it’s because we drove at night 😅 Eduardo & his wife are very friendly and welcoming! I would stay here again:)
