Cottage vacation rentals in Alburgh

This was a great getaway! It was the perfect size house for the three of us. The kitchen was surprisingly well equipped (especially compared to other places I’ve stayed). Emmy was responsive and available. I wish we could have stayed here longer!

This will now be our favorite place to stay. Cassandra and Jeremy thought of everything. The kitchen,bathrooms and every room had all the amenities that made it feel like home. We actually tried to think if anything was missing and we couldn’t think of anything. We enjoyed going into Lake Placid a few days but then also just chilled at the house since we didn’t want to leave. We can’t wait to come back again.

Moi et mes copines avons passé un week-end mémorable chez Elizabeth. Le chalet est impeccable et très bien situé, nous sommes allés faire une petite randonnée tout près dans un sentier. Il y a également plusieurs choses à faire dans les environs à quelques minutes de route. En ce qui à trait au chalet tout était parfait, c'est propre, épuré et très lumineux. Le mobilier et les lits sont très confortables. L'hôte repond rapidement lorsque nous communiquons avec elle.C'était la deuxième fois qu'on y retournait mais je crois qu'une tradition est née et que nous allons renouveler chaque année.

Beautiful secluded surroundings and a peaceful pond. The house is very well kept and well decorated.

The house was in amazing shape and the view was absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend this house. I definitely intend to stay again.

Super séjour, le logement est très bien situé, à distance de marche de restaurants, commerces, etc. La cour arrière est magnifique et vaste. Logement très propre, entièrement rénové, grande table à manger, etc. Nous avions apprécié notre séjour, nous avons manqué de rien !

We had such a great family stay at The Cozy Cottage. You can tell that the home was very well built and it was extremely comfortable for our family with kids. The wood stove is awesome and heats up the whole house with plentiful wood in the basement and instructions to use the stove. The house was very clean and well appointed. We spent 2 nights there while we skied Sugarbush and the location was great for us. I would definitely recommend this home and look forward to returning next year!

This place is so wonderful! Everything is provided for your comfort. Rayna was great in communicating an issue about one of the toilet is not working and offered a full refund if that would be a problem, which it was not at all. The location is great. Easy access to the lake for swimming or kayaking (kayak/canoe is available for use). It has a nice patio for sitting while enjoying the sunset view. This makes it to the list of favorite places to stay.

Awesome space and location. 100% recommend especially if you want to be closer to the mountain. Can walk to breakfast the Round Hearth

This place has everything you want from a cabin near Smugglers Notch. Spacious, beautiful views of the mountain, and just a 10 minute drive from skiing. Easy recommend for anyone looking for a great place to stay on their ski trip or otherwise.

We visited Michael’s place for a long weekend stay and had a wonderful time! Quiet, peaceful, safe location with beautiful river views. The location was perfect — far enough out of town to feel out of the way but close enough for easy access. Clean and comfortable, overall a fantastic stay.

Wat een mooi licht huis met uitzicht op bos en rivier, zelfs vanuit het bed. We hadden een korte mindere start doordat de schoonmaakster niet het juiste bedlinnen klaar gelegd voor het 3de bed, de bbq deed het niet en er stond vieze vaat in de kast. Waarom dan toch 5 sterren? Kate loste het snel en goed op. Dank je wel! En het huis was gewoon geweldig! Hier had ik zo graag langer willen blijven. Technisch mooie materialen, uitgebreide keuken, goed groot bed.

Perfect home base for a peaceful ADK getaway. Lots to do in close proximity to cottage. The place was great. Very quiet. Coffee on the deck overlooking the river was a great was to start every day, and a cold one by the fire was a great way to end each day. Would definitely stay again.

My family had a great stay at this home for a fishing trip. Great communication with the host who confirmed that we could park our truck and trailer with small boat at the house. Enjoyed walking across the road to fish and sit by the lake. Clean and comfortable home. Enjoyed the fireplace on cool days. Busy road so expect some noise - suggest bringing sound machines if you are a light sleeper. Would stay again on our next trip.

Judy and Darren were fantastic hosts. The cabin was spotless and the local area so peaceful. They were incredibly responsive to any of our questions and concerns, and even checked in with us to make sure we were comfortable. Would happily stay here again!

My mom and I celebrated her 78th birthday on the lake. Bradley wanted us to know that it might be on the cooler side as it was the end of October. The camp was actually super cozy! We enjoyed the space so , so much!! It had everything we needed. I hope to visit again!! Bradly is an outstanding host!!

Anne & Franz were great hosts—clear communication & friendly. Their cottage was immaculate, super comfortable, and the aesthetic was calm and beautiful. The setting was on a tranquil road with lovely views of Lake Champlain; perfect for morning walks. The location allowed us to explore all of Grand Isle by bicycle and relax in comfort at the end of each day. Highly recommend The Cottage!

Our stay at the Plattsburgh Cottage exceeded all our expectations! Such a wonderful cottage with so many places to relax and unwind with the unsurpassed view of the lake across the entire back of the house. The cottage was within close proximity of day trips to Vermont and Montreal - then back to the cottage for beautiful sunsets on the lake. Our host Jeff thought of everything to make the stay so enjoyable - everything that could be needed in the kitchen, great towels and linens, the best fire pit and beautiful landscaping all around the cottage. We also enjoyed walking to the marina nearby and enjoyed all the wildlife in the area, including the nightly parade of geese families across the lake. Thank-you for such a wonderful stay in this special place!
