Great location -

My family and I stayed for a few nights and absolutely loved the space. The pictures don’t do it justice. We loved sitting out on the deck and watching the wildlife and boaters. The accommodations were comfortable and peaceful. It was very close to some restaurants and cafes. We had a great first night at Frankie’s which is right next door. We were happy we stayed in Ucluelet over Tofino.

We loved our stay at Island Vista. A idilc setting - within 2 minutes of getting out onto the lovely balcony a bald eagle flew right past us. The property had everything we could have wanted and it was great to have some outside space. Perfect location on the edge of Tofino town - less than 5 mins from the centre and lots of walking/cycling trails within easy reach. Also Jamie’s Whaling is right next door (we did a whale trip and bear trip and both were fantastic). Lots of amazing restaurants close by - don’t miss out on Shelter and the Shed. April was very helpful and communicative before and during our stay. Thanks a lot - we look forward to coming back one day!

Beautiful place! Would definitely come back and Barb is responsive and helpful! Make sure to bring binoculars to make the best out of the view and the wild life around (bald eagles, sea lions, bears, etc.)

Mackenzies place is just amazing! Totally as described and pictures! In front of water, beautiful one bedroom with all things you need to stay:) location is also amazing. It’s at entrance of downtown Tofino. Lots of activities are able to do without car. One of the beach(Tonquin beach)were able to walk even my 5y old daughter! Other beaches also just about 5-10min drive. It wasy first time to visit Tofino and I was so happy to be able to stay Mackenzie’s place! Definitely recommended and I hope we will have a chance to stay again:)

We really enjoyed our stay in Ucluelet. We had our dog with us and it made it so easy to travel with her - Ryan also supplied dog bowls which was really nice because we forgot ours at home (oops!). He was very responsive with any questions we had and was always very kind. The place is the perfect little getaway!!

A truly restorative visit. Peaceful place right on the water. Nothing beats listening to the waves crash into the rocks. Hot tub and sauna were luxurious. Kitchen was well equipped. Appreciated the small details of the suite. Hope to return someday.

Erika's place looks better than the pictures! The views were spectacular from the window with lots of natural sunlight. Although it was only my partner & I, we noticed that Erika also had pet toys & children-friendly utensils. We also loved that the shampoo/conditioner & cleaning supplies were mostly from local brands around Tofino/Ucluelet. The BBQ grill outside is a nice touch as well. I highly recommend this place to anyone who would like to visit Tofino & I will most definitely be staying here again.

We had such a nice stay at First Light. Home was very clean and so charming and the view is stunning. Our teens loved the hot tub and sauna. We loved looking for wildlife - lots of bald eagles. I loved being able to walk to downtown Tofino, would love to go back. Erika couldn’t have been nicer or more welcoming. We were really impressed with all the thoughtful details- there was fruit and chocolate for us as a welcome when we checked in. The home is vintage and I hope the 1970s original features will remain. The cedar walls and ceiling and vintage kitchen cabinets and light fixtures are amazing!

The Homestead is a beautiful home in a beautiful, quiet location with amazing views. The house is clean, and overall is good but has many small annoyances of items that haven’t been well maintained. - Stove top elements: some don’t work, those that do are very finnicky and jump from very hot to cool repeatedly while using - Kitchen sink is near to falling out / disconnecting from the counter - Dishwasher soap door is gone & can’t seem to change settings (but does still clean) - Blinds make a horrible high pitched squeal when rolling down - Window crank handles fall off when using - Shower handles super loose and wobbly - Downstairs toilet wobbles - Hot tub has a broken jet and some buttons that don’t work (but is still hot and bubbles) - Fireplace in photos is not usable

Great spot to stay for a family getaway. We brought our 11-month-old baby and it was perfect!

Spent 5 nights here in May 2025. Located in a beautiful spot with easy access to a beautiful hike along the water. The view from the hot tub is stellar. Lots of thoughtful amenities in the kitchen. We felt right at home! Bryan was friendly, had amazing local recommendations and was very responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a lovely 2 days at Kevin’s place relaxing. The apartment has everything you could need to self cater and within easy reach of Tofino. Views of the shore at ow tide are wonderful if you like raptor spotting and the hot tub was a definite hit. Kevin was very helpful with lots of clear instructions.

We’d love to stay again at the spot! This place is great - beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Well equipped and comfortable. Lovely view across the lake and would be ideal in the warmer weather for the lake swimming.

This was a great location for our Vancouver island adventures. Pretty central to what we wanted to do. Cathedral Grove was close enough for us to visit multiple times, and the trip over to the Pacific coast was about what we wanted. Great hosts, were very quick to respond, and extremely helpful. House was great for our family, good amount of space, and lots of activities to do on rest days. Would stay here again if we ever come back to explore the area more.

A fantastic place to stay, in a gorgeous part of BC. Brent and Susie were great hosts; who made us feel at home immediately. The accommodation was perfect for our family of four, with all of the amenities one could ask for and a modern, well serviced dock to moor our boat overnight. Highly recommended.

Ich werde nie den Moment vergessen, als ich das erste Mal durch die Unterkunft gelaufen bin und dann die Aussicht gesehen habe. Ich hatte Tränen in den Augen! Die Unterkunft war ein absoluter Traum und einer - für uns - perfekten Gegend. Jeden Morgen und Abend konnten wir Freddy (wir haben ihn mal so getauft) den Seelöwen beobachten, die Weisskopfseeadler flogen regelmäßig vorbei und generell gab es ständig etwas zu beobachten. Die Unterkunft ansonsten war auch sehr komfortabel und Conner war sehr hilfreich und nett. Wir würden sofort wiederkommen und behalten es ewig in Erinnerung.

Lovely place to stay with an amazing view and everything one might need for an enjoyable stay. Full kitchen, well-stocked. Hot shower, comfortable bed. Great balcony. Walkable to everything Tofino has to offer. Celina was responsive and a pleasure deal with. We’d love to stay here again.

A beautiful condo in a great location. The kitchen is a pleasure to cook in, the bedrooms are very nice. Rino was quick to answer my questions and was very helpful. We loved to location, close to the water and stores and restaurants. This place is highly recommended

Laura's place was perfect. It's a good sized 2 bdr apartment. The place was squeaky clean. All the essentials were provided. Felt like a home. Comes with parking. Wouldn't hesitate to book again if I am visiting Ucluelet or Tofino.

Danielle's place was great. Location is great for walkability but it is in a high traffic area. There is a decently busy pier with many ambulances taking in patients from boats. From our one week stay, we seen at least 4 and were rarely home. Not an issue for us, but worth noting it's not always a quiet place (sirens, engines, etc). We found the room to be very hot and bright at night time, not a dealbreaker but on the verge of not being comfortable. We didn't feel we had to trouble the shot over it. Overall we had a great stay. We had a wonderful stay! The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up. The host was responsive, friendly, and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. The location was great, and the view from the balcony was stunning. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we felt very much at home. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

Book this apartment, you won’t regret it! If you are a light sleeper take some earplugs so you don’t hear the fridge, and an eye patch unless you like waking at dawn, but still book this apartment as it is amazing. The location is great, the apartment is small but really comfortable and very well equipped, and the view is breathtaking. Sitting on the balcony looking out to sea and watching the sea otters is idyllic. Book it!
