Our cottage is on the edge of the "Old Town", a 12 min walk to art and culture, parks, river, cafes, and restaurants. It is a charming, traditional, renovated wooden cottage with a fireplace and sauna* located in a beautiful quiet neighborhood, on a tree-lined street, beside a park and playground. Mökkirauhaa luonnon keskellä lähellä Porvoota ja saaristoa, metsän laidalla, 15 km Porvoosta ja 30 km Loviisasta. Täydellinen kahdelle, mutta majoittaa tarvittaessa neljä (2 vuodesohvalla). Oma piha, kaksi terassia, puusauna, grillipaikka ja täysin varusteltu keittiö. Polkupyöriä lainattavissa ja uimaranta 2,5 km päässä. Erinomainen valinta lomalle tai työmatkalle. Huom! Lähin kauppa tai ravintola ei ole aivan nurkan takana, joten varaa mukaan eväät ja herkut – täällä nautitaan omassa rauhassa.

Our lovely annex was build in 1968, few years later than the main house where we live. It has been fully rennovated to accomodate a full kitchen, bathroom and a living area with a double bed and a vintage couch. We wanted to bring back some of the farmhouse charm with wood floors, raw tiles and a good twist of rural mystic. The kitchen was hand made from scratch to perfectly take you to a past now forgotten. The modern utilityes are there for your convinience, without breaking the spell.

100+ year sauna! Amazing to experience the history and culture of Finland here by the sea. It is meant to be a little rustic for how it used to be. The art museum of Sirkka Turkki next door is also an incredible experience to meet the artist and to see her creations. Ari and Arja are amazing people. On a very busy day, they still took time to find a special birch sauna vihta for me. They also made all of the toys available: bicycle, row boat, SUP paddle board. This is a lucky find if it is available grab it!

Kaikki sujui hyvin majoittajan kanssa. Hyvä ohjeistus saapumiseen ja parkkeeraukseen. Ilmaisia parkkeja lähellä todella hyvin. Yömyöhällä saapuminen vaivatonta, kun sisäänpääsy koodeilla oli helppoa. Asunnon sijainti loistava lähellä jokirantaa ja helposti saavutettavissa kaupunkiin saapuessa. Ruokakaupat ja kaikki Porvoon tärkeimmät palvelut ja nähtävyydet kävelymatkan päässä. Asunto tosi siisti ja sisälsi kaiken tarvittavan. Lisäksi tarjolla oli pientä välipalaa ja kahvia, siitä myös plussaa. Suosittelen ja yövyn toistekin tarpeen tullen. Kiitos Peter!

I had a truly wonderful stay at Maria’s place!The guesthouse is charming, quiet and comfortable. I felt welcomed and at home the minute I arrived. The sea and the sauna were amazing, and the I thoroughly enjoyed walks and runs in the forest. All communication - through messages and face to face - was extremely warm and welcoming . I simply felt at home… The location is amazing and all the activities Maria recommended were great. I highly recommend this special, magical place. Hope to come again soon with my family, Matan
