Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Al Qarnah

Mohamed is a great host and gave us simple and quick check-in and check-out instructions. He provided options for us to book transportation, meals at his place and activities such as a balloon experience. He is very responsible and nice. His apartment met all our requirements. It is quite big and has a lot of light. We slept very well there. The apartment isn’t located in the city centre but it is close to the majority of the important temples on the west-side (check in Google Maps “Malkata House” as the apartment is located nearby). For us the location wasn’t a bit issue because anyway in Egypt you need to move with taxi (even if you are in the city centre there are many sites not in the city centre). Actually, I have to say the location was quite positive in the way that was quiet and peaceful, far from the noise of the city centre. I would fully recommend this apartment to have a pleasant stay in Luxor. If I come back to Luxor, Mohamed’s apartment will be definitely my option again

My and my to children was staying 3 days at Hamdy. Very nice and helpful host. Big apartment with a very nice balcony. Quiet and only 2 minutes from the Nile. If we’re coming back to Luxor we will definitely stay at Hamdys again.

Hesham is a super friendly and responsive host.. he was always at hand to help us with our queries. his apartment is well located,equidistant from the Luxor and Karnak temple.. supermarket close by

Mahmoud is a great host. He even cooked delicious Chinese-style meals, spicy sauce included! He’s thoughtful when preparing food and always waited for everyone to sit down before opening the meal together. The rooftop is spacious, with beautiful views of the sunset and nearby fields. There's even a fun echo - you might find yourself singing up there without realizing it. Communication was smooth and Mahmoud was very helpful throughout the stay. Mahmoud could help to book hot air ballon for you with reasonable price, though due to the weather we couldn't make it at the end. There’s a free washing machine, a big kitchen, and the location is convenient - about 10 minutes' walk to the ferry, with plenty of restaurants around. You would likely be greeted by friendly local grannies along the way haha. One tip: during summer, the first floor stays cooler - the top floor can get a bit hot, which might affect the air conditioning. Would recommend staying here!

After a complicated arrival, everything has returned to order for the best. Mostafa relocated us to the old nile hotel, small heavenly place, quiet, with a nice team who took care of everything. we particularly appreciated the calm of the place and the birds.

Karim was very helpful for always arranging anything we needed( rides, hot air balloon,dinner) His house was beautiful and private. Will definitely to staying here again.
