APPI no Mori no Ikken Sora is a wonderful place to spend a heart-enriching time in a quiet environment surrounded by beautiful nature in all seasons. Sora is located within the APPI Snow Mountain Resort area, just 2 minutes by car to the slopes and 5 minutes to the golf course. At the same time, you can access the bustling city of Morioka in just 60 minutes by car, making it a very convenient base for sightseeing in the three prefectures of Iwate, Aomori, and Akita in the Northeast. We recommend using a private vehicle to enjoy a relaxing vacation. The APPI Snow Mountain Resort area has shops, restaurants, and convenience stores, and there is also a supermarket about 20 minutes away by car. There are also great hot spring areas such as Matsukawa Onsen, and Hachimantai Ski Resort and Shimokura Ski Resort are also nearby. The bed is equipped with 1 king size, 2 semi-double size, and a sofa bed, and we will provide a separate folding mattress and bedding depending on the number of guests.The king and semi-double beds are made with a koala mattress, making it a very comfortable bed. There is a 24-hour convenience store within a 5-minute walk, and you can buy rice and agave sake and craft beer in the refrigerator at any time during your stay. Kakunodate guest house Choux

It is a dormitory type guest house using a trailer house. About 3 hours on the Akita Shinkansen from Tokyo, 6 minutes on foot from Kakunodate Station. There is also parking. No meals are provided, but a communal kitchen and lounge are provided as public space. There is a supermarket, convenience store, restaurants and etc. within walking distance. We have shower room, but you can go to the nearby hot spring facilities. There is free WI-FI and rental e-bikes are being prepared in green season.

This is an old thatched house built in 143 years ago. The family that has lived in the house for generations has protected it, but it was planned to be demolished because of the financial issues in 2014. In order to preserve the original landscape of the satoyama for the next generation, we revitalize the house as a membership guest house. However, the activities were stopped due to the pandemic. In June 2024 we reopened the house as a private accommodation place (rental vacation house).

It was my first time using private lodging, but communication with Yoichi was smooth and I was able to stay without any inconvenience. I stayed for consecutive nights, so I washed and dried the towels I used, but I was happy that they were all changed the next day.It was also helpful to have lots of dishes, cookware, and basic condiments in the kitchen. I'd love to stay again if I get the chance!

The hotel is located on the north side of Mt. Iwate, surrounded by greenery, a few minutes walk to a small river waterfall and greenway along the river.The boss is very nice, the facilities are relatively simple, and the value for money is very high.There is a hot spring in the inn to soak in the hotel, and you can see the stars at night✨

Refresh in the midst of magnificent nature! A rental cottage on the Appi Highlands

It was nice to stay with great restaurants and hot spring facilities nearby. There was a very spacious living room, and it was relaxing.It was a very good facility for social gatherings and group work.

The entrance features a wooden slatted wall illuminated by soft lighting, creating a welcoming atmosphere. A patterned fabric curtain hangs before the doorway, adding a decorative touch. The surrounding area is subtly lit, enhancing the inviting nature of this private retreat.

Space Design

It was a large group trip.There were ski resorts and hot springs nearby, and we enjoyed each of them.We enjoyed cooking in the lodge and ate the table with a large desk.We are grateful to be able to make wonderful memories.
