House was amazing! The views and atmosphere were perfect for a relaxing stay. Price was reasonable. Maria gave thorough instructions before our stay. Only downside was that you had to bring your own hand towels which we were not aware of. Other towels and sheets we had brought with us as informed.

We loved it here. We stayed two months and it was such a quiet and nice time. The cabin was clean, cozy, comfortable and well maintained. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some, the mountains are beautiful, the beds are comfortable , Trillevallen the close by ski area is fantastic and the cross country skiing was amazing. The hosts are very responsive and helpful.

The cottage is absolutely fantastic. The view over the lake and the mountains is breath taking and we were lucky to see the Northern Lights from the terrace.

The house is centrally located, within walking distance of shops and restaurants and with the bus stop of the ski bus almost at the door. We stayed with four people and had friends as guests who also stayed one night sleeping. Total of 8 people. The living room offers every possibility to eat together. The barbecue on the terrace, the cozy fireplace and the spacious sauna made the stay extra pleasant. Mattias and Anna had already provided various things such as wood and charcoal. Very nice! They responded quickly to questions. In short, recommended for a nice stay in cozy Åre!

Certainly one of our best Airbnb stays so far! Eveline went above and beyond what's required to make us feel welcome, providing very helpful local tips and anything we needed, really. It felt more like visiting a friend than staying in Airbnb. At the same time we had a nice private unit with a veranda and were never disturbed by anything there. On the contrary, it was very quiet and cozy, warm with a real fireplace. Ah yes and we saw Auroras directly above us in the backyard in their full glory! (Admittedly, we got a bit lucky there.) The place is a couple of minutes away on foot from a beautiful lake which is great for ice-skating. Besides that, there are nice back-country ski runs through the forest that are reachable. We traveled everywhere by public transport (mainly bus) and while connections to and within the city are fine, going elsewhere required planning as buses are infrequent. A car would be more convenient, but in the winter one should be prepared to drive on snow/ice.

Superb accommodation in every way. Welcoming and generous. Everything you need and scenic surroundings. Extra plus there was some instant coffee in a cabinet when I discovered in the morning that I forgot to bring it. Saved the morning! We will be back!
