Family-friendly vacation rentals in Akasia

This is not a typical airbnb. Stephanie goes above and beyond and in the end is more of a friend than a "host." For me, this is a home away from home. You must love dogs if you are to enjoy staying here.

Steve's was just like being at home. Steve himself was very responsive, friendly, proactive and even gave us hints on places to go to. I would definitely recommend such a host.

Amazing stay , lovely place and ample space. Tinahe was helpful with all the questions and queries during our stay.

Stewart met us upon our arrival and went out of his way to make us feel right at home. We were left to enjoy the privacy and peacefulness of the beautiful quaint cottage and the animals that lived on the premises. It was absolutely perfect for what we needed for our 2 day stay in Johannesburg, with the location also perfect as everything we needed was within a 10 minute drive. We will definitely return!

Review for Mooiplaats: What a lovely, little farm getaway. Bea and her husband, Wim, are amazing hosts and great people. The BnB is fitted with all you need to enjoy a peaceful and lovely time. Surrounded by the sounds of the farm at night, the little farm house is private and perfect. They also have their own butchery with the best bacon ever! I would highly recommend this gem to anyone with an appreciation of farmstyle living. The surrounding area also has an amazing "Melkery". So between lovely cheeses and great meat, you are sorted. And for R75pp, lovely Bea might organise a tasty farmhouse breakfast... 5/5.

We absolutely loved our stay here! Riaan and Malia were so hospitable and always responsive when we reached out to them. They even greeted us when we first arrived and gave us fresh baked bread. The outdoor area is very nice and fun for children to play. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of supplies to cook/bake. The house is very safe and secure and just as shown in the pictures. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

I stayed at Stoney Brooke for 3 months, all my needs where met, they are very accomodating, I loved staying there, the peace and quiet is very good for the soul. I will stay there again next year.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at this home. The house was very clean and exactly as described in the information and photos. The house is in a lovely, secure estate and we felt very secure and comfortable the entire time.

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at Liezl's Gecko Cottage. It had everything we needed and more! The wifi was fast, we could easily access Netflix and Youtube. Liezl spoilt us with a bar of chocolate, fruit basket, sherry and bottled water! She is very friendly and welconing, we felt right at home. The garden with a large swimming pool is beautiful and the cottage has its own private outside area. We will definitely be staying with Liezl again the next time we're in Pretoria. The location is super close to shops and restaurants, and the Irene suburb itself is stunning with big established trees - lovely to go for a walk if you have the time. Highly recommended!

What a superhost ,Toy you are great .Will definitely come back .All expectations were met ,I asked for extra parking she made a plan and asked for a big favour in one of the rooms and she came through for us .The cleanliness of the house 10/10 .You are exceptional dear ,keep up the good work .
