Well equipped, warm and cozy unit. The instructions were clear with quick responses. The only issue was availability of street parking. Perhaps it was also due to the fact that we were staying over during holidays. Would certainly recommend the place.

Thank you so much for a fabulous stay. The apartment is beautiful and one street from the beach front and Brighton Jetty. Inside is so clean, bright and modern. The shops are so close - at the end of the street and the cheapest fuel around the corner. Also, a short drive or bus trip into Christchurch central, and many other areas. New Brighton is a developing area, due to location and proximity. The old is being replaced with new and modern. We were a little surprised when we drove into the area/street. It initially seemed like a very low-socio economic area, but as we explored we could see the potential and the work in progress. Our four days at the apartment were sensational. We joined the New Brighton Club(at the end of the street). $5 for a months membership, this allowed us to buy drinks with our meals. The food was fabulous and very well priced. Also, we were always able to park on the street outside the apartment.

We had a lovely stay. We felt very welcomed and looked after there. Very homely and reminded me of my childhood baches. Everything one could want including coffee, fruit and milk. Peter is thorough and thoughtful. I especially enjoyed the book selection and having a relaxing time, enough to actually finish a book. Recommended A+++

We had a wonderful stay at Kim’s place! While we didn’t get the opportunity to utilize the tub or the garden area due to some misty and windy weather, we know it would have been quite the treat if we had a longer stay planned! Everything was so clean and modern, and the shower pressure was out of this world! We hope to stay again soon!

It’s a tiny home type setup, very private and has some nice unique touches such as the outdoor bath and bar stools to sit on. I loved the indoor plants on the railing inside, everything in the interior had a congruent style which I really liked. Chelsea was very responsive, helpful and approachable with any queries I had. I do recommend this stay if you are ok with the tiny home experience- it was quite tight with 2 people staying there but we made it work. You also need to be able to carry your luggage down stairs etc as described in the listing.

We enjoyed our stay at Colleen’s apartment very much. It was very clean, comfortable and well stocked. We appreciated the milk and treats, and other supplies in the kitchen and the bathroom. Pretty little garden at the back of the apartment. Colleen is very friendly and kind. The apartment is steps away from the big playground and the beautiful New Brighton beach. The city centre is an easy 15-minute drive. We could not pick a better location! The apartment is attached to the yoga studio, so my daughter and I enjoyed yoga classes literally next door. Overall, amazing experience. Will definitely book again when we are back.

This location in Akaroa is perfect. The view from the deck could be a painting you would hang in your living room. The layout of the apartment and decorations are very nice, obviously an owner with good taste. The town has plenty of good restaurants and the setting is soft and romantic. This was our second time to rent this 2 bedroom unit and we would never stay anywhere else.

My husband and I had a great time at Viv and Rob's place. The view cannot be beat! The place was just what we needed after many days of driving across the south island. Just a note for many cautious North American drivers that the parking is tight and you will be driving uphill to get here. But once you get here, you'll know why this place is a gem!

We would recommend this place. We stayed here for one night as a group of four (if you're coming with four people, two of you will be sleeping on a sofa bed). The host reached out in advance to ask if we wanted the sofa bed prepared, which we confirmed. However, upon arrival, we had to set it up ourselves. We found the necessary bedding and blankets in the bedroom closet, but we weren’t entirely sure if they had been freshly changed, as they seemed slightly used. Despite that, our overall experience was positive and without major issues. The house is within walking distance of a beautiful beach and pier, which we really appreciated. Thank you for the stay!

Our family two adults and two daughters had a great mini break to this house. Even though the weather wasn’t great we found this house easy to hang out in while it rained. Lots of thoughtful touches and games and colouring for the kids along with lovely modern features. We had a great time in a lovely, warm and well equipped house. Highly recommend Thanks Kerrie and Brett!
