Beautiful Lakeside cottage with large yard

This slice of paradise is such a good place to get away for a few days. The garden is stunning and so relaxing, chickens roaming around, lots of birds to spot, as it's right at the waterfront of lake Muhazi. In the evening, sit on the veranda with a fire and wake up early for a refreshing swim. You can easily cook for yourself with all pots, pans and cutlery that is available, but if you want there's a couple of restaurants in the area as well that you can check out.. Did I already mention how beautiful the garden is? :-) I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back here. Thank you Dominik and Naomie!

le logement de Béatrice est particulièrement agréable, situé les pieds dans l'eau il est a la fois charmant et confortable. En outre, Béatrice s'est montrée extrêmement accueillante et aidante envers nous (réservations bateau, barbecue, pédalo, ...). Nous lui sommes très reconnaissants pour cet excellent weekend. nous recommandons évidemment.

Little Paradise

I needed a break after a busy week in Kigali and I was pleased to find this amazing home. The team who works at the place were friendly and accommodating. They listened to feedback and so did the guest. The place is 15 Km after Kayonza towards Gatsibo. Not quite at the lake but the view of the lake give min away is great. The food from the Resto was equally great. The place is advertised as entire but at some points the team may need access. I requested the host to make that very clear in their description for guests who may want complete privacy. I would certainly book again as I felt refreshed here.

An amazing place with really amazing and friendly staff. Great views of lake Muhazi and the perfect place to spend a couple of days outside Kigali. I recommend you contact the host before traveling so that they share the location with you as the displayed location will bring you to the wrong side of the lake and will bring you through an interesting but unnecessary route.

Das Frühstück ist bei dieser Unterkunft enthalten. So gut wie jedes Zimmer verfügt über ein eigenes Bad. Zur Unterkunft gehört ein eigener kleiner Grill-Imbiss, welcher Broschettes, Grillkartoffeln und Grillbananen anbietet. Außerdem gehört ein Supermarkt dazu.

Munyana is a very friendly host who was always quick to reply to our questions. It was fun to chat with her. She also organised a nice safari jeep for us. We felt at home. Wat een prachtige locatie! We waren vertrokken met geweldig gevoel. Dat kan je geen simpel verblijf ruimte noemen maar een hele ervaring. Julie is hele open en vriendelijk host en voel je er als thuis. De gezamenlijke maaltijden brengen gasten bij elkaar en kan je onvergetelijke verhalen horen. Heel inspirerend! Behalve dat eten is lekker en bedient met oog op alle details. Er is ook ruimte voor rust als je het wilt en een yoga shell! We komen graag hier terug! ❤️

Wir fahren für vier Nächte in dieser schönen Unterkunft. Die Unterkunft entsprach exakt den Bildern und Beschreibungen. Es ist alles sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Eines der besten Airbnbs, in dem ich je war. Große Empfehlung! Besonders zu empfehlen ist auch das zu Fuß erreichbarer fish pub. Wer ein ruhiges Haus mit Bademöglichkeit sucht, ist hier perfekt aufgehoben.🌞

Always so grateful to have this place to escape the city for a while, to enjoy the peace and beauty.

L'endroit est vraiment magique. Juste au bord de l'eau. C'est vraiment très paisible et reposant. Les garçons qui travaillent sur place sont au top. On recommande vivement.

Geweldige plek, schitterende omgeving, het meer aan je voeten. In de omgeving is niets te doen, dus wil je actie, dan kun je alleen de kayak pakken. Zorg dat je eten bij je hebt om te koken. Dan heb je een geweldige tijd. Er is niets te koop in de nabije omgeving. De jongeman, die er rondloopt is zeer bereid om je te helpen bij alles, communicatie is wel wat lastig, maar ze doen heel erg hun best om je te begrijpen. Wij hebben heerlijke dagen gehad, een van ons had malaria, dit was een goede plek om te herstellen in alle rust. We raden deze plek zeker aan voor wie van natuur en rust houdt.
