Marie is a great host, available, dedicated and attentive. The apartment is in a peaceful, residential and secure sixteenth. Everything was clean, tidy, spotless. Marie was practically available H24 and helped us with every solicitation. An experience to be repeated endlessly. I would highly recommend this listing with priority. Kigali was nice.

Beautiful Lakeside cottage with large yard

This slice of paradise is such a good place to get away for a few days. The garden is stunning and so relaxing, chickens roaming around, lots of birds to spot, as it's right at the waterfront of lake Muhazi. In the evening, sit on the veranda with a fire and wake up early for a refreshing swim. You can easily cook for yourself with all pots, pans and cutlery that is available, but if you want there's a couple of restaurants in the area as well that you can check out.. Did I already mention how beautiful the garden is? :-) I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back here. Thank you Dominik and Naomie!

Little Paradise

I needed a break after a busy week in Kigali and I was pleased to find this amazing home. The team who works at the place were friendly and accommodating. They listened to feedback and so did the guest. The place is 15 Km after Kayonza towards Gatsibo. Not quite at the lake but the view of the lake give min away is great. The food from the Resto was equally great. The place is advertised as entire but at some points the team may need access. I requested the host to make that very clear in their description for guests who may want complete privacy. I would certainly book again as I felt refreshed here.

An amazing place with really amazing and friendly staff. Great views of lake Muhazi and the perfect place to spend a couple of days outside Kigali. I recommend you contact the host before traveling so that they share the location with you as the displayed location will bring you to the wrong side of the lake and will bring you through an interesting but unnecessary route.

Perfect accomodation for visiting Akagera National Park. Our host Alexis was very friendly, gives a tour of village and help with us our problems with lost luggage at the airport. We highly recommend this accomodation.

The interior of a safari jeep is displayed, featuring several rows of cushioned seats in light beige fabric. The vehicle is designed to accommodate passengers comfortably, with sturdy seat belts visible. An open space in the center is indicated, providing additional room.

Munyana is a very friendly host who was always quick to reply to our questions. It was fun to chat with her. She also organised a nice safari jeep for us. We felt at home. The rooms and the building are clean. Located in a nice village near Akagera National Park. We recommend her place for anyone visiting Akagera. Thank you, Munyana!

RUTETE Eco Lodge, we respect nature

Great location, gorgeous views. I think this was better than staying in the camps in the park. The pictures do not do it justice. I also loved Selena the cat. I liked the communal dinner meals. It was so nice to have great dinner conversations while traveling solo. I brought my own wine but they have a good selection there as well. I walked around the farm grounds and bamboo corners. Just a great place to stay while visiting Akagera Park.
