This is truly the absolute best spot to stay in the Luberon. You walk outside your door and are literally just steps to an incredible boulangerie, coffee spot, restaurants, history, and scenery that is awe inspiring. The decor was stunning. This is the rare AirBnB that is better than the pictures- and they were great already! We loved closing out the day with a glass of rose’ on the balcony watching the incredible scenery. The cold plunge pool was such a lovely experience- we are converts! Denis provided exceptional hospitality - he checked in to make sure we had all we needed and was such a treasure. He went above and beyond on his host duties. Our family all agreed this is the best AirBnB we’ve ever stayed in. It has so much character- you feel like you are in a castle- but with modern conveniences like laundry and a great kitchen! If you are even considering this place, book this special home! What a gem of a place and hosts! We traveled to quite a few places during our 2.5 week trip through Europe, and this was by far our favorite stay. Located in the Luberon Valley in the medieval town of Ménerbes, Provence, you only had to look outside of your window to see the vibrant purple shades of the blooming summer lavenders and lavandines. The stay was well appointed with everything you’d need, and the private courtyard provided breathtaking views of the valleys and nearby mountains. The town and stay are rich in history - you’ll enjoy learning about it from hosts Maria and Francois, who are absolutely delightful. A beautiful breakfast of local fresh fruits, pastries, eggs and yogurt was provided, which gave us enough fuel for a long day of walking and sightseeing. My favorite part of it all were the conversations we had with Maria and Francois over breakfast - they’re quite charming and funny; we exchanged stories of our lives and travels. Highly recommend this stay!

Where to even start! Cyril is an AMAZING host and such an extremely kind and joyous person to talk to! We had great communication with check in/out, as well as he gave us recommendations as to what to do nearby when our original plans fell through! The kitchen was fully stocked with fresh juice, jams, and butter, as well as breakfast delivered to us each morning! This has been my favorite airbnb stay of all time, and really made for such a local feel to our trip. I can’t wait to come back the next time I’m in AIX; my fiancé and I had such a great time and can’t recommend Cyril’s place enough!

Frédérique was attentive to our needs. The place is beautiful, located close to places to visit. The house is typical of the area, offering all the comforts. The pool, nice, to cool off. A place close to everything, but quiet. We had a relaxing holiday, thanks to the wonderful garden.

Had the best time, accommodation is cute and so close to the little town everything was walking distance. Prunelle had instructions for everything and was on hand for any questions. We had a great time and can’t wait to come back.

This house was beautiful. Our family group (4 kids and 4 adults) had a great time in the house. There was plenty of room, lots of places to sit and have privacy but also several choices to all sit as a family for meals or talking. The neighborhood was very quiet and easy to get to. The rooms were very nice and the pool was wonderful. The kitchen was also very nice for preparing meals with everyone we needed. We would 100% stay here again and recommend Elisa and Gerard as hosts.

A fantastic stay. A beautiful home with all amenities in spotless condition, set among the vines and olive trees. Cara was a great host and quickly answer our queries. We highly recommend.

My family of 4 (myself, wife, two teenagers) absolutely loved staying in Anais' castle. The views were....stunning! It comes with a great pool that we really enjoyed when it got a bit hot (stayed during a June heatwave). The small hillside village has a few restaurants easily walkable to from the house. We loved the pizza place and the guy making pizzas was super awesome and friendly. The owner of the next door restaurant sold us soft drinks and wine even though he was technically closed. Really a friendly very small town atmosphere. We had a car, so lots to do in the surrounding villages. Anais was kind enough to provide a guide and we definitely took his suggestions. He was very responsive and provided excellent directions for finding this gem. maximin-la-sainte-baume is a small town about 5min away. There you can find groceries, coffee, shopping, etc. I fully recommend this place and Anais as a host!

Celine’s home is a perfect location from which to explore Aix. We enjoyed the outdoor space, very comfortable and firm bed, and the very clean and spacious apartment with a fully equipped kitchen. Close to all the shopping and restaurants.

Our stay at Cathy’s place in Aix-en-Provence was excellent. Great communication prior to our arrival with lots of suggestions. She was engaging but not intrusive. Location was excellent. I mean excellent. We could and did walk everywhere. Lots of restaurants, grocery stores and ice cream shops in the area. We rented a car to go outside the city to explore other towns and villages. Parking was not always easy but we found on street parking in Aix. Over all our experience in Aix was great.

Loved our stay at this little jewel box! Very well supplied and for such a small space had everything we needed. We parked in the Mignet garage and it was an easy walk. It would be challenging with a lot of luggage but the apartment would also be difficult with a lot of bags. My 6’ tall husband needed to remember to watch his head on the ceiling beam (and succeeded) and climbing into the bedroom loft but that was fine. Safe, perfect location in the middle of markets, restaurants and shops. Even with the windows open it is surprisingly quiet. It is 3.5 flights of stairs plus the ladder to get to bed. And worth every step for this incredibly charming apartment. Marie’s instructions were clear and concise and she was very available for any concerns or questions.

We had a wonderful vacation in the Provence! Valerie's place is beautiful and set in one of the most beautiful and quiet villages in the region. It has great views and it made us feel really at home. The apartment has everything that we needed - it was clean, very cozy and tastefully furnished. Valerie was a great host - she gave us excellent recommendations about the local restaurants and we felt really welcomed there. We will definitely come back!

This was a lovely and special apartment! Beautiful inside and out. We especially enjoyed spending time on the balconies/patios everyday. The apartment was fully equipped and had everything we needed. We enjoyed cooking meals there after purchasing local produce and seafood. It was great to be able to cook at home and then enjoy a great wine with our meal in such a beautiful setting. Very comfortable bed and great AC. Parking was on site and so convenient. Philippe was a very gracious and helpful host. He met with us and he carried our bags up the four flights of stairs. He then went through all the things we needed to know about the apartment and surrounding area. He was welcoming and left special treats and some local wine in the fridge. He gave us great recommendations. An outstanding host. We highly recommend Philippe and his apartment.

A well-equipped and beautiful apartment, centrally situated in the Old Town of Aix-en-Provence. Great balcony with views. Ideal for families and just by one of the most charming and lively squares in Aix. Lots of restaurants, cafés and sights nearby. Although there are many stairs leading up to the apartment, it is absolutely worth the climb! Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay in Aix at this apartment. It looked exactly as pictured and was a perfect place to call home for our week in Provence. Great location right in the center of town. Françoise was very helpful and always responsive and made the checking in and out process very easy. I would gladly choose this apartment again the next time I come to Aix!

The stairs are tough but everything else about the place was amazing. Very comfortable and the roof deck was a great place for some wine after a long day.

Thanks to Laurence for hosting us, her accommodation is very well-equipped (like home), spacious with a private garden and quiet. Beautiful birdsong and no annoying barking. we enjoyed the calm, the Sainte Victoire mountain as well as the hike of the 2 dams (Bimont and Zola). Perfect

Great location! Easy walk to the city waterfront. Gated parking right at the complex. Jean-Luc was so nice and accommodating with check-in and check-out. The apartment exceeded our expectations. The view is phenomenal! We will definitely return! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Clean and as described. Waterfront apartment, the beach is located opposite. Parking in the back very convenient. We had a great time at Mathieu's and recommend this stay.

We spent a great week in Gwendolin's beautiful and well-kept apartment and felt right at home. The quiet location within walking distance to the Vallon des Auffes and many beautiful swimming opportunities is perfect. We spent beautiful long evenings on the fantastic roof terrace and would have preferred not to leave at all. Gwendolin was always super easy to reach, flexible and helpful. We would recommend the place to anyone and come back anytime.

Had a wonderful time staying at Valérie and Daniel’s apartment for four nights. Pictures of the view do not do it justice, one of the most beautiful views to enjoy all day from the terrace!

Our second time in Julien’s great apartment. Really well equipped, superb location and Julien and Let were super helpful and quick to respond. We will hopefully come back again.
