Wonderful cottage in the Masai Mara, savanna views

The wilderness just outside the fence and views for miles around! Our wonderful autonomous cottage is located in the Masai Mara, on the Olchorro Oirowua wildlife conservancy. It is positioned at the edge of a vast savanna, guaranteeing you’ll see wildlife everyday, even before breakfast! No luxury resort isolating bubble here: with traditional Masai families (and their cows) living nearby, and a traditional Masai village 800m away, the wildlife and cultural activities on offer are countless!

Peaceful camp to stay at when you are enjoying Masai Mara. My wife and I are Masai & operate this camp. It is a new camp built in 2022. There are 4 free standing buildings/tents for our guests, each with a private locking entrance door with 3 queen beds, a private bathroom with a flush toilet, sink & a hot shower. We have a common building that you will eat all your meals in. There is a nice deck at the front of your private room. Price includes 3 meals for 2 people.Airport pick available

The Pink Container Farmstay - Maasai Mara 🐘🦁🦓🦛

Located just a 15 minute drive from the Sekenani gate of the Maasai Mara National Reserve, our fully solar powered one bedroom container house is set in its own small private garden within our farm (Kobi Farm) near Nkoilale. It comprises of an open plan lounge and self catering kitchen, double bedroom, bathroom and outside seating areas. The house sleeps 2 guests in a queen size bed, we can also provide a garden tent with camp beds and beddings for a maximum of 2 additional guests.

Very helpful and friendly host, expert guide on safari. Very nice and well-kept eco-village, in the middle of the forest, for an authentic experience. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Beautiful experience

The hotel was everything you could ask for. It had a big room. Shower was lovely and hot. The bed was large and verycomfortable with a great mosquito net. Job was so quick to respond and organised an amazing one day safari for us with a great Masai guide and driver and a great vehicle.

An absolutely fantastic place, the photos do not do it justice. The view from the rear overlooking the Massai- Mara is incredible. We had random animals such as Zebra passing by the other side of the electric fence and could hear the hyena`s at night. Met Susan and Jerome - who were wonderful, we had a great experience here. Great Massai Mara guesthouse!

We stayed in both houses for the weekend with a large group. Hosts Oscar and Sylvia were super flexible in accomoding additional friends that wanted to camp, even last minute. Beautiful surroundings of the greater Mara area with wildlife around. Chef Richard made great food for us exactly as we had asked for and was very timely. They went to great lengths providing our large group with an mess tent so we could enjoy the outdoors even during the rain :) The staff was all super friendly and everything was organised well. Communication with Oscar was very quick and helpful. Would most definitely reccomend to other groups wanting to explore the northern mara area. I wish we had more time to do some local activities. Hope to came back sometime soon! Philip
