We spent a lovely week at Elisa and Andrés beachfront Airbnb. Communication was flawless and we were even welcomed with a complimentary bottle of Portugese wine which was a nice touch. Once checked in, we had a slight issue with the loud noise coming from the pool pump and Elisa responded within minutes, sending her Father around to check it for us. Location-wise, we chose this because it is right on the beach and it really is. You can hear the ocean from inside and see it from the windows. On a clear night the Sunset is sensational. Elisa was super flexible with our check-in and check-out times, offering both an early check-in and later check-out to accommodate our travel plans which we were super thankful for. All in all, a great trip, can highly recommend!

This is a one of a kind place that will make you remember Portugal forever. Hélder and his mother and Sebastian and his amazing cook of a wife Manuela are so great!!! Make sure to try the local bakery for their AMAZING bread!!!!

The photos are accurate and our host was very nice. Instructions are top notch. The sea view is a big plus and it's very nice to walk around. We were quiet and the house is lovely. We had a lovely stay despite the heavy rains at times. The house is in a very good location in relation to shops. We are close to the center of Porto and the historic center of Vila Nova de Gaia. Beautiful places to discover.

Nick was a wonderful host, extremely responsive, and generous with little gifts. His local recommendations were spot on (we tried them all). There was a ton of space for our whole family to stay, and we felt really comfortable here. I would recommend it.

Beautiful home in amazing location! Antonio’s place was incredible. More than enough space for family of 5 with really picturesque courtyards for enjoying the mild temperatures plus it was just across the street from the beach. The home was well-appointed, clean and had all we needed to make meals at home. It is a truly special place and Antonio was a wonderful, responsive host. We loved the restaurant he recommended. Can’t wait to come back again!

Simply Perfect! Our stay at Villa Aqua Madalena was above expectations. The house is beautiful, with top quality finishes, tastefully decorated and with everything impeccably clean and organized. The outdoor space is a real haven, the pool is fantastic, super well maintained, ideal for relaxing during the day, and the barbecue was the highlight of our nights. We still had time to enjoy the games available, which gave an extra touch of fun to family time. You can see the care and attention in every detail, from the functionality of the spaces to the comfort provided. Everything was thought out to provide an unforgettable stay, which really happened!... The view of the sea, the sunset, the beach 2 minutes away and Porto very close. Sonia is super friendly, available and always attentive, which made everything even more peaceful and pleasant. No doubt a place to go back and recommend. A 5-star experience! Thanks a lot!...

We had a very nice stay in Miquelinas house. It was quite large and they were very flexible with the check in even though we got delayed by more than two hours and didn’t arrive until 22:30. Would recommend if you’re looking for a place in that area

We received a very warm welcome from Bartolo. Interesting, old apartment, part of a much larger farmhouse building. Antique furnishings and high ceilings give this Airbnb a very quaint feel, like going back in time. Plenty of blankets and hot water bottles for the unseasonable chilly nights on our arrival. We loved the ambience, the creative renovations which were being carried out whilst we were there, didn’t hinder our stay in any way. Beautiful views, animals in the grounds, wonderful kind people, made our trip very special. We took the train into glorious old Porto from Mindelo, leaving our hire car nearby. Do walk along the boardwalk in the nature reserve on the coast nearby. Characterful old villages and towns nearby for coffees and meals out. The Romantico drive along the Douro is a must, choose a dry day for the glorious views. We toured the old city and loved both sides of the river. Lots of musicians play there, it was a pleasure to lunch, listen and relax.

Unfortunately, it was only a short stay of two nights, you can certainly stay here longer and have a great time in the immediate vicinity of the Atlantic. This is the second year we stayed at this host's accommodations! We had two apartments in the same building: the Ocean Flat and the Artemis Flat for our annual family reunion this year. These accommodations remain amazing as we had experienced from last year. We really appreciate the tranquility and the breathtaking view. These apartments are tastefully decorated and equipped with modern appliances that made our stay feel like home. Lastly, Carlos, who checked us in, was great. He made us feel like family! We are looking forward to future stay at this property!

We were so impressed by their welcoming fruit baskets full of pears, apples and oranges plus another basket filled with all-new bottle of olive oil, black olive, vinegar, canned tuna in oil etc. Plus the place is very clean, well prepared with the amenities in every bathrooms. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for the easy prep meal and up to the big meal with ovens & stove. In sum, it has been well maintained. Very clean. The place has its own parking space under the building (which you can get inside the house directly if it’s raining very bad outside) However, we have an 8-seaters van, so it is impossible to park inside. We could still park in front of the place, on a public lane but no need to pay any extra fees. Very impressive host; responsive and very clear instructions for checking-in.

We had a great stay in Porto. Very nice flat with beautiful views. Large rooms and two bathrooms. Unfortunately we weren't lucky with the weather so spent our days in the centre, easy and cheap access by taxi. Food shop is 15 minutes walk from the flat, there is large selection of everything including fresh fish. I definitely recommend this flat and hope to be back.

Our stay went well. There were 9 of us. We were able to enjoy the beach that was nearby during the day and also enjoy the jaccuzi in the house. The house was clean and functional. We were able to benefit from many parking spaces at the house! Great stay as a family in Espinho!

We had an amazing stay at Diogo’s beautiful place. It is even better in real life than it looks on the photos, with great views and supermarkets / restaurants close by. The house is open and bright and perfect for a group of 10-15. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning
