Very beautiful place and property! The views are stunning everywhere you look. If you are looking for a peaceful, remote stay, this is it! Given its remoteness and surrounding road conditions, highly recommend a 4x4 and comfortable vehicle, along with groceries for a couple days. Diego + Christina were very responsive and provided great suggestions of things to do and see around the area and property. Don’t snooze on horseback riding with Hilario right on the property - it’s amazing and the views are very beautiful!

Una casa muy bonita y con todo lo necesario

I loved our stay here!!! The photos didn't do the property justice!! The hammock was wonderful, and there were ample places to sit around the property! Loved spotting the wildlife on and around the property, and always found that we finding a new hidden gem at the property. The pool was a great size. Appreciated having a washing machine for clothes. Found our host to be extremely responsive and accommodating. Recommend them and this property with no hesitation at all!! Found the soda at the end of the street on our very last night, and it was so good!! Regretted not walking up there sooner in our stay.

Really liked this location. The serenity of the views combined with the pool and the grounds we were free to walk around were a huge bonus as the house itself was quite nice, spacious, and well appointed. The breezes and the birds! Beautiful

Hermoso lugar, decorado con detalle y con una ducha muy original. La propiedad es preciosa, llena de árboles frutales y maderables nativos. Es un espacio muy tranquilo ideal para relajarse y disfrutar de la naturaleza. El anfitrión es muy amable y siempre dispuesto a responder cualquier consulta.

Thank you for a wonderful stay outside of La Fortuna. Accommodations were fabulous. Air worked well, chef was amazing, and space was exactly as described. There is a reason this home has so many y 5 star reviews. Magdalena is always responsive immediately and available for any needs. Highly recommend!

Winston y su padre son muy amables. Nos recibieron con mucha amabilidad. El espacio alrededor de la casa es muy bonito, cuenta con una pequeña piscina (no la utilizamos) y una mesita para desayunar al aire libre. La cocina estaba muy equipada, con todo lo que necesitas: cafetera, sartenes, ollas, cubiertos, vasos, platos, tazas, cafetera, filtros, aceite, sal, pimienta, tostadora, microondas , etc.... Las camas muy suaves y con sábanas limpias, baño impecable con agua caliente. Cuartos con aire acondicionado y televisor (no lo usamos), juegos de mesa, muchos detalles en decoración que resaltan el gusto y amor por el lugar. Muy recomendado... a 15 minutos de Liberia centro en automóvil. Portón eléctrico y parqueo privado. Excelente lugar. Nos fuimos muy felices.

We had an amazing stay at La Macadamia! The house had everything we needed to cook all our meals, making it feel like a true home away from home. The space was private, safe, and very comfortable. Guillermo was a fantastic host and gave us an excellent recommendation for a cloud forest tour. The tour guides knowledge and experience made all the difference—he knew exactly when to pause and when to move on for the best chance to see the famous Quetzal, and it paid off! One of the highlights was the local wildlife—Agoutis were always wandering around the neighborhood, so cute and easy to spot. My son especially loved the trampoline and made sure to start every morning with some jumping! Monteverde is a special place, and La Macadamia was the perfect base to experience it. Highly recommend!
