Captain's Beach Apartments is a property located in a very peaceful area by the beach on Kissamos bay. It consists of 3 houses with 11 serviced apartments and includes outside shared amenities like swimming pool with kids pool and sunbeds, gardens, grape vines, barbecue, parking area and bar. This one bedroom apartment is in the second house and has a private entrance and a large terrace with a sea view. The apartment is on one level with a few steps leading to the entrance and can fit up to 5 people. It consists of one bedroom (2 beds- 1 single, 1 double), a living/dining room with a kitchenette (1 single bed + 1 additional single bed can be added if needed) and a private bathroom. The rates include daily breakfast at the bar. The apartment is perfect for a group of friends, family, or couple that is looking for a relaxing vacation in an idyllic location. We spent a month in the house and absolutely loved it - the terrace is lovely for evening drinks and sunbathing, and the house is very spacious and has everything you need. Amazing location in the beautiful old town, surrounded by local shops and restaurants. Couldn’t recommend it more highly, we would definitely return!

A group of 16 of us have just returned from staying at Oak Villa for a week and it was an outstanding accommodation, with absolutely no fault. The lady that made breakfast for us every morning and cleaned was amazing and we were looked after from start to finish. The villa provided everything we needed and more and we would definitely recommend staying here.

Our stay at Apartment Yasmine was an absolutely wonderful experience. The hostess was exceptionally attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, with an incredible local insight. She provided us with top-notch, personalized recommendations that truly enhanced our visit. We faced a bit of a challenge when our pre-booked taxi from Chania International Airport had difficulty locating the place, but we managed to arrive without too much trouble. Arriving late at night after a long delayed flight, carrying two large suitcases up the spiral staircase was somewhat challenging, but it was worth it. The location is peaceful, with balconies offering views of the sea, nearby hotels/apartments, and a hill adorned with olive trees. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the daily cleaning service was fantastic. The owner prepared delicious breakfasts using fresh ingredients available each day, including pancakes and other treats.

We enjoyed the stay very much and everything was wonderful! The pool was clean and nice and cool! Requests were responded to immediately and you are only 20 minutes away from the most amazing beaches! Since the accommodation is remote but close to a busy road, you should take Oropax with you if you want to sleep without air conditioning ( which all work perfectly) and may be sensitive to noise. All in all it was a wonderful house with everything you need! Many thanks for everything :)

The „Villa on the Edge“ is a beautiful and calm place right by the coast. It offers stunning views of Souda Bay and serveral nice corners to read and relax as well as a beautiful garden. The house is very well maintained and has everything that you need. It is located around 30-40 minutes from Chania airport and is easy to find. Ideally, you should rent a car to go there and to drive to supermarkets and restaurants. There is a beach in 5-10 minutes walking distance which is great and not too crowded. Marianna was a great host. She provided a lot of helpful information before and during our stay to make sure we’re having a great time. She even put some groceries for us in the fridge. I highly recommend staying at the „Villa on the Edge“ if you are looking for a relaxing vacation.

Rena and Panos are excellent hosts that made my trip to Chania super comfortable and enjoyable. I cannot rate them and the apartment highly enough as it’s one of the most enjoyable airbnb experiences. I spent three weeks in Chania as a digital nomad to take in the amazing sights of Chania and west-Crete. From day 1, I had a very pleasant experience with Rena. She is super knowledgable of the local sights in Chania and around Crete, best car rentals with easy pick up/drop off from the apartment and great restaurants nearby. Chania is strategically a great spot to visit some of the best beaches in Crete such as Elafonisi, Balos, Falasarna, Marathi and Seitan Limani. Day trips to Rethymno and Preveli are easily doable. The apartment itself is very luxurious with modern facilities (multiple TVs, fridge, washing machine/dryer etc.) and super comfortable for two people with excellent Wifi (if like me you are planning to work too). Rena was very kind to bring me a new blender to make breakfast smoothies! The location of the apartment is perfect for the local Neo Chora beach (2-3 mts walk) and old town (10 mts walk). You can also walk to Agii Apostoli beach (25 mts walk or 5 mts by scooter/car) - which was one of my favourite beaches in Chania proper. The walk to old town from the apartment is very nice along the sea at anytime of the day. There are some amazing restaurants that Rena recommended that are close to the apartment, and much better value relative to the ones in Old Town. If you are driving, there is private parking in the apartment unit. There is additional private parking couple of minutes from the apartment too. I managed to lock myself out of the apartment one day and Panos was on site almost immediately to let me back in. Another time the parking in the apartment was full, so Panos was waiting for me at the private parking to make sure I didn’t have any issues. The local Raki he brought for me went down very nicely too! I highly recommend staying at Rena and Panos’s apartment to experience Chania.

We enjoyed this very nice cottage very much. In the middle of a sea of flowers, with the sea close by and complete tranquility. Spyros and Sofia are incredibly sweet, warm people. The contact with them is very pleasant and it felt right as if you have known them for years. And as the icing on the cake, a stocked fridge upon arrival. What else does a person want? We can highly recommend these accommodations!

We stayed in Zoi's apartment for 1 week. She was always available and always responded to messages. When we arrived late at night, she had put pizzas and ice cream in the freezer for us. For our breakfast, there was also everything we needed! The apartment has direct access to the beach and the old town of Rethymno is a 20/25-minute walk. Really a great place to stay with ocean views 🥰 always happy to come back!!

We chose Danai's roof loft for our 12-day vacation in Crete. Communication with Danai and her mother was always very good and we were able to check in very early and flexibly. The loft offers enough space for two people, we really didn't miss anything. The kitchen is well equipped, and there is air conditioning in the living room. Unfortunately, the bed is in a corner where not much fresh air gets in, but the ceiling fan above the bed helps. The bathroom has a very small shower, but a washing machine. We particularly enjoyed spending time on the beautiful large roof terrace, which offers various shady seating options. The location is really great. The beach is about 10-15 minutes' walk away, shops and restaurants are even closer! We were always able to park our car free of charge around the "Dimotikós Kípos" (city garden). We would definitely come back and highly recommend the apartment!
