Serviced apartment vacation rentals in Agia Effimia

A great, peaceful place. Here in late June- early July but always able to get a lounger by the pool. Lassi only 10mins walk away, Argostolli also close. The family who run the place could not be more helpful. They helped us so much when our flight home was cancelled.

The apartment was absolutely spotless. It was spacious, had enough utensils in the kitchen for our stay and we loved the outside sitting area on the balcony and the shutters on the window to make the bedroom darker at night. The bathroom was a very good size, however we found the size of the shower too small. The position of the apartment is only 5 minutes walk to the beach, however the beach does get very busy and you will not have a lot of room between you and other beach goers. People come from around the island to go on the beach, as cars are parked on either side of the road. There are other coves / beaches nearby that you can go to. The restaurant that they own is the best in the vicinity, food is freshly cooked and the service excellent. The only negative is the road. Probably once a quiet road, it is now very busy with quads and buses going through. It is advisable to have a rental vehicle if you stay here. The hosts were excellent.

We had a fantastic stay at Ivana and Dionisis's apartment. The facilities were excellent, wonderful scenery.Lovely beach within short walking distance. We were lucky to eat in Ivana and Dionisis's own restaurant three nights during our stay, well worth it, the food was exceptional. We were also delighted to taate their own wine and olive oil. Ivana and Dionisis were very welcoming and were very accomodating. They gave us great suggestions of things to see and do on the island. The apartments have airconditioning. It was a pleasure to stay in apartments and the area is so nice to explore, and a relatively short distance from the airport. Ivana advised us to hire a car for our week's holiday as transport very limited. Its a great place to stay in if you're looking for a great, quiet and stunningly beautiful part of the island. Thanks so much to Ivana, Dionisis and their son work very hard to provide wonderful accomodation and an exceptional restaurant.

Really friendly staff at Oskars. Makis, Yiannis and all the staff gave fantastic service throughout. Apartment was large and had stunning views. cleaned every day to a very high standard. The pool was spotlessly clean every day and had great relaxing music. Only drawback is that non-residents can use the pool which happens every day and gets busier due to this. Other residents mentioned this as well so not a great feature. The restaurant food is of a high standard and they have home made ice cream which is delicious. I would definitely return to Oskars again.

Stayed here on our last night in Kefelonia. Very friendly host. Property situated in a quiet location a short walk from the town with plenty of restaurants on route. Well stocked super market at the bottom of a short steep hill (5 min walk). Property itself was clean. Kitchen area ok for preparing snacks but you’d struggle to self cater here if this is something you’d want to do due to lack of work surface. Overall we really loved our stay here and would recommend it!

Our stay was just amazing! Makis made us feel right at home and gave us loads of useful tips and suggestions for our stay! The place was just as described and even better: the studio was cleaned every day for the whole week! We are definitely recommending this place to all our friends that want to visit Kefalonia!

This apartment is a lovely place to stay and explore Kefalonia. It looks out onto the ocean and has a small, calm beach just across the street. About 10 to 15 minutes down the road towards Scala there are many other great swim spots. Go to Mounda Beach for miles of sand and Anemo Beach spot for free lounge chairs and incredible food. we explored all over the island from here and could quickly get to the ferry, a few minutes away in Poros. Mari Christa were very friendly and always around to help. highly recommend

Ivana and Dionisis’s place is immaculate and in a beautiful serene location away from the busy tourist strips. Ivana gave us a range of recommended places to visit. We went to all of them and they were stunningly beautiful. Ivana organised a car for us when we had difficulty finding one. Their restaurant was lovely and we had a couple of meals and coffee there. The rooms were large, airy and incredibly clean. They were cleaned every couple of days with fresh linen. Both Ivana and Dionisis were kind and generous with their time and gifts of wine and sharing a drink with us. They also gave plenty of privacy and unless we went to the restaurant we were not disturbed ever. We loved our stay and couldn’t rate it more highly. Zakynthos itself has crystal clear waters, stunning cliffs and acres of olive groves. I would highly recommend this stay.

Mirka was immediately very kind and helpful, as soon as we arrived she gave us valuable tips on beaches to visit, both nearby and throughout the rest of the island. The room was exactly as shown in the photos, as soon as we entered we immediately noticed the excellent cleanliness and attention to detail. We also really appreciated the parking in front of us which was very useful to us. The area is quiet, there are also several restaurants, bars and shops, really nice. Under Mirka's advice we also visited the beaches nearby and had a great time. Overall a great experience and totally recommended!

We had the loveliest stay at Stella’s , the place is perfect, if you come across this gem consider yourself lucky because honestly i felt the place was incredible and perfect for some peace and quiet and very close to Argostoli and not too far from the airport . Stella was very lovely and attentive we couldn’t ask for a better host. We will definitely come back 🙏

We loved our stay here. The views from the apartment are beautiful, the covered balcony was a great place to sit outside even when we had a little rain and the owners are lovely. The little beach over the road was great and if busy there are other beaches within walking distance along the coast. Poros was unexpectedly delightful as a port - more like a marina. Family run Agrapidos taverna a couple of minutes' walk away is a real destination (booking advisable as busy) with a fabulous view across the bay and terrific food and service. Also Remetzo cafe bar at the port very good for breakfast and evening drinks. We hope to come back!
