Beachfront vacation rentals in Afantou

It was a really nice experience from the beginning, communication was very good, Panos replied within minutes! The house is a real gem, perfect location! Privacy with a beautiful balcony looking at the see and you are also 1 minute from a really good small shop, where you can buy anything you might need and is also open on Sundays and non-working days. There are also restaurants within walking distance. Two minutes from the house you can also rent boats. From the balcony you can go down to the sea or walk directly to the village beach which was not crowded at all at the beginning of June. The house is spotless! Everything is very clean, the bathrooms are also really nice and clean, the kitchen is well equipped and also very clean. All appliances were working, no broken fridge or micro! Panos gave us a bottle of orange marmalade which was really nice and was also very delicious! Beds were also good and comfortable. Very much recommended, exactly as advertised with a very good host!

Our stay at Rania's house was fantastic and exactly what we needed as a family. The contact with Rania was warm and straightforward, she responded quickly to questions. The house is beautiful, very clean and well equipped – incl. Washing machine and dishwasher. The quiet location outside of Apolakkia was ideal for switching off, with the rental car you can quickly get to Lindos, Prasonisi or surrounding villages. A special highlight was the private access to the almost deserted beach. The terrace offers comfortable sun loungers, seating, beach chairs and towels. Our children (4 and 6) had a lot of fun climbing over rocks and discovering the large, natural property with plants and animals – including a daily visit from a small gecko. An all-round successful vacation – we are thrilled and recommend the house without reservation!

5 star accommodation by all means. We would stay again without think twice.

This place is everything all the reviews say. A magical, historical building in an idyllic setting on the beach. It has some quirks but to focus on them is to miss the point entirely. A glance at the gigantic, generic hotels close by highlights the special nature of this place which provides a truly unique experience. Chris and Anna are great hosts and you feel imbedded in the town rather than just another tourist. The windmill will live long in our memory.

Very clean place with good amenities. The kitchen was equipped with all the basics and was perfectly sufficient to make a few snacks and small meals. 6-minute walk to the beach, with a rental car we were very flexible and could explore the area. Teta and her husband were very kind and took good care of us. Teta even offered to cook for me when I was feeling a little sick. After a few days, there were fresh towels and two pieces of cake. We were very happy with this place and can recommend it to anyone who wants to live close to the beach and also likes to eat out. There are also plenty of restaurants:)

Pernille is a most welcoming host - friendly, very helpful, responsive and knowledgable about the local area, but also unobtrusive, although she lives next door. The studio was well equipped and spotlessly clean as was the pool and outside area. Initially Wifi wasnt great, but Pernille got it sorted and from then there were no issues! Unfortunately the washer wasnt working and the engineer advised a new one. It was no hardship to handwash clothing that needed freshening up and Pernille made her own machine available. The location was perfect for us, close to the beach and 15 min (quite) level walk to the centre of the village with its bars, resturants, amenities and bus stop. Buses to Rhodes town Monday - Friday were frequent - Saturday and Sunday less so. Kremasti is on the fight path, but we soon got used to that. This was our first time visiting Rhodes, indeed Greece. Kremasti, for us was perfect as was Pernille's studio, we really enjoyed our holiday - we WILL be back! :)

Gavriela's cottage has a fantastic location, the garden and terrace are lovingly landscaped with many details and very well maintained. The view from the terrace directly to the sea, especially in the morning, is fantastic. As a welcome, fruit and drinks were in the fridge for us. Gavriela's family is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our holiday week to the fullest. Even if it did not cloud our vacation, you should know the following: the only footpath to the cottage is extremely uneven, rocky, partly with stairs directly along the rock. In addition, the luggage and purchases must be carried to the house. Gavriela's family kindly helped us a lot on arrival and departure. Difficult for people with mobility problems. The only road is unpaved and in very (!) poor condition; only to be driven with off-road vehicles, but not with normal rental cars!

Starting with the host - great friendly gentleman. Clear set of instructions on arrival. This guided us to local restaurants, taxi services, places to visit. The Villa is very well equipped. The outside grounds are really well looked after. The swimming pool for ideal for our family (young teenager and 8 year old children). The view from the terrace was beautiful. On some mornings we were able to see dolphins swimming close to shore. Inside was very modern. The tilt and turn style windows with the shutters were ideal. The villa is close to several restaurants. Stefanos sea food is great if you like fish. There is a really nice Pizza place with a beautiful back garden. Recommend hiring a car if you’re going. We didn’t, lots nearby but there’s more to see. We took taxis to local towns which was reasonable in cost. I found the area that the villa was to quiet (my wife loved that however). If you do go, there are lots of busier towns. Recommend Lindos. The beech is unreal.

Gorgeous villa. So much space, and facilities. Panos a great and very responsive host. Beds were far too firm for our liking. Also the running water was temperamental (due to local hotel requirements) Great location. Would visit again!!

We enjoyed it very much. Everything was as shown in the photos. The host always responded quickly and could also speak English very well. When we arrived, he also told us directly what was available in the area. And he also sent me a lot of links where you can eat well or great bars as well as activities. We felt very comfortable. And water/beer/wine/soft drinks and some fruit were provided. (Free of charge)

Very attractive villa, plenty of room for a family of four. The big pool, lovely outdoor space and amazing views mean this villa is a real find. It’s very hard to find a quality villa with a pool within walking distance to a beach and shops and restaurants - this ticked all those boxes. The inside of the villa is really well done, modern and clean with great air-con. You can get a taxi to near by Lindos, St Paul’s Bay for €15 euro each way. Highly recommend this villa and the host Svetlana was lovely and responsive. Vlycha bay is pebbles so for sandy beach just do some day trips to Lindos, Pallas and St Paul’s. It was lovely and quiet. A 2 minute walk down the steep hill and there are two nice places to eat and drink as well as mini market or super market 10 minutes walk.

A dream vacation in Gennadi! We had a fantastic time in this beautiful villa right on the beach! The accommodation is well equipped, very clean and offers everything you could want for a relaxing vacation. The highlight was definitely the large, private pool – perfect for relaxing overlooking the sea. The location is ideal: quiet and idyllic, but at the same time only about 1200 meters from the nice village of Gennadi, where you can eat or shop comfortably. We'd love to come back – absolute recommendation! Thank you!

Katerina owns a beautiful villa and you couldn’t look for any better! There is everything you need in the villa and you can easily spend your days chilling by the pool and walking to the beach. I would recommend hiring a car if staying in this Airbnb as it is in a quiet village - this was exactly what we were looking for! Katerina was an extremely responsive host and could not have been more helpful. She was easily reachable and happy to help with everything.

Nice place to stay, as described. Good reception. Heating downstairs did not work (early season) and unfortunately could not be recovered quickly. Furthermore, everything was fine, slept well, lovely terrace and good location to reach everything. Jacuzzi was, even unheated, delicious : in the late afternoon it was warmed above 30g! Thank you very much for the flexibility so that we could still stay a little later than planned.

The best place, where to stay in Stegna. Amazing terrace. Wonderful wiev. You are practically on the beach. In the house is everything what you need for the stay. Highly recommended.

Hara is a wonderful host! We were very warmly welcomed in the extremely clean and lovingly furnished villa. There was everything we needed. As a welcome, not only fresh fruit but also wine and honey from Rhodes awaited us. In Stegna Beach, the small place nearby, there was delicious authentic food in the small restaurants. We had a fantastic week! In particular, we will miss the breathtaking view of the sea and the nearby bay with crystal clear waters. We highly recommend a stay at the quiet villa!

Nice house/flat with a beautiful terrasse. Evrything was described, good location in calm stegna with nice restaurant and beach but also not too for away from rhodos town, airport or lindos. We can fully recommend this airbnb and would book it again. Communication was very good!

I recommend this place for a couple who values peace and privacy. It was lovely to sunbathe in the private yard, and the sea was just a short walk away for a swim. I recommend having a car to make the most of this accommodation! I would definitely stay here again! ☺️

This was a beautiful stay by the sea in Greece! We were greeted by the host upon arrival and had a lovely welcome with water, juice and wine waiting in the kitchen, Waking up to the sea views every morning was the best. The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed for a long stay, free parking on site and the host is very responsive and friendly and always available if needed. The patio is exceptional, with different seating options. We loved the location for the sea, but also for the proximity to grocery stores, bakeries, restaurants - everything you could need. Pantelis was a great host, who is very friendly and helpful! We would definitely stay again when in Rhodes! We love this friendly neighbourhood and spacious apartment. Thank you Pantelis!!

Wonderful location a few steps from the beach and several very good restaurants. Very quiet and peaceful in the evenings away from the busy part of town. The private parking next to the property and sunbeds / parasol literally next to the sea were both very welcome. The beds were very comfortable! Stefanos and Maria were really welcoming and very helpful. Haraki is a lovely little town with a sheltered bay for safe swimming - lots to see with a snorkel!!! it is a great base from which to explore the whole of Rhodes.

I can honestly say that this was the best Airbnb that I have ever stayed in. The hosts were beyond nice and friendly, and showed so much kindness and hospitality to us. From the free welcome drinks, to the free breakfast, to even the small departing gift that they gave us, they were amazing. Not to mention, the food at the restaurant was delicious and the best food we had during our stay in Rhodes. The room was clean, super spacious, and had everything to make us feel at home. I highly recommend staying here, you will not be disappointed!

This place is a gem! We absolutely loved our time in Faliraki and this apartment. A big thank you to the host and her family for making us feel so welcome. We traveled with our 13 month old girl and this place was absolutely perfect. If you have a young family like we do I can’t think of a better place to stay than this. Incredible!
