Phenomenal place to stay in Addis Ababa! The location is right off Nambia St (Bole Medehalem) so you're walking distance to lots of restaurants. The front desk staff (24/7) are very helpful and it has backup generators (must have in Addis) + fast WiFi. Saturday mornings they have coffee ceremony (traditional Ethiopian) for the whole building in the lobby so you can network with others + defo dabo (ethiopian bread). Cleaners clean typically 3-5 days a week. Highly recommended for short or long-term stays. I will go back.

I had an amazing 3-week stay at this Airbnb! The place was exactly as described—spacious, clean, and thoughtfully decorated. It had all the amenities I needed for a long stay, from a fully stocked kitchen to comfortable furniture that made it feel like home. The location was also perfect, with easy access to local shops, restaurants, and transportation. It made exploring the area so convenient. The host was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and provided all the support that was needed. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and hassle-free place to stay!

Fully Furnished Apartment

I recently stayed at this Airbnb and had a great experience. The host was incredibly responsive, promptly addressing any questions I had and providing clear instructions, which made my stay stress free. The house was cozy, exactly as pictured, and located in a quiet neighborhood, offering a peaceful stay. Great apartment with a beautiful view. It can be very loud - there's a bar across street which has music going you can hear clearly in the afternoon and evening. Laundry and trash can be done by the cleaning staff if you ask, and there's a good takeout place on the ground floor (in back).

Hiwot is great in communication, and ready to assist always. The arrival was welcomed, 10/10 Understanding and explanations were great to find the ways around the city The place is very clean and great, only slight noise and it was delt with. Overall, Hiwot is a recommendation to all.

"The perfect location for the digital Nomad." I was remote working while in Addis and Feysal's place was perfect. Located in a scenic neighborhood on the outskirts of Addis with all the amenities you may need In the immediate area. Feysal is a super host (even if the app doesn't list him as one.) He went out of his way to make me feel welcome and comfortable. I fell sick when I was there and Feysal rushed to get me medicines and came to check up on me regularly to make sure I was doing well, and to get me anything I needed. Truly a wonderful stay and a lovely experience. I highly recommend it. -Stayed for a little over a month

Clean sweet home in the heart of Addis

This is the third time my family and I have stayed at Michael's place. If you want clean and a place that matches the online pictures, then this is the place for you. All of the rooms were just as described and very clean. I've stayed at other places where the hosts are not in the area, and you can tell. Michael personally sees to his place and you can tell the difference and attention to detail. I highly recommend.

Chilallo Penthouse

Chilallo’s place is absolutely wonderful! Much larger than the pictures actually display! You have beautiful patio views on all four sides of the Penthouse! What I loved the most was the privacy & safety of the building! Private elevator that takes you right to the penthouse suite. Security was downstairs 24/7. The penthouse has a 2 person hot tub and the sauna was definitely the icing on the cake! Lovely cafe was open from breakfast to 7pm everyday right upstairs from the Penthouse. They have wonderful food where you can eat in their restaurant indoor/outdoors or you can have it delivered right to your penthouse suite. There is also a small store downstairs for supplies you may need during your stay which is so convenient! When I’m back in Addis this is the only place I will ever stay at! I feel right at home! Beautiful chandeliers throughout the penthouse! 2 full bathrooms! Comfortable couches/love seats! Home away from home! The staff was very friendly and always responded when I needed them and were also always in the office on the first floor during business hours for added convenience!

Laura’s place was very clean. She is a very responsive host and responds to messages and fix requests quickly . The apartment is close to many restaurants, bars, financial and religious institutions, and airport among the few. Friendly building security and accessible basement parking. However Wi-Fi internet was slow. At times the building security turns off the elevator for cleaning so I had to climb 11 floors up to the apartment.

This is the first time my family and I stayed at a guest house in Addis Ababa. Ruth’s place felt home away from home. Ruth is a super host who replied right away to answer all of our questions. She also gave us great recommendations to restaurants, hair salon, and car rental. She’s very resourceful and always willing to help! We really appreciate her quick response to all of our inquiries. Once we reached addis at Ruth’s place we were welcomed by to amazing guys Mesgana and Temesgen who helped us with our luggages showed us around the apartment to make sure we knew how everything worked. They also made sure we had water and food since we had our kids with us! They really went above and beyond to make us feel at home, and we really appreciated their help! The apartment is super clean and very comfortable. The kitchen had all the things we need if we want to cook. The bed was super comfortable and everyone had a great night sleep. My two daughters didn’t want to leave as they had so much fun. The view is incredible! My husband and I enjoyed our morning cup of coffee on the balcony over looking the amazing view of the city. Ruth’s apartment is located at a prime location very easy to get to all the great restaurants and most importantly the airport! We also enjoyed walking to the most awesome coffee shop called “Melke” right next to Sidera Hotel. I asked my two daughters what they like about Ruth’s place and they said everything and they said they’re disappointed that we didn’t stay longer! We will definitely stay at Ruth’s place again and our next stay will be longer than this time! Thank you so much for everything! See you soon!!

It was great to have a flat with kitchen and bathroom and all. For this price in general in Addis you would have to share with others. Definitely worth the money and 24/7 guards for the building is a plus. Also a public transport pick up point t right in front of the building where you can grab public transport or call a Ride to pick you up (usually it is difficult to explain where you are, but not here if you simply give the name of the pick up point). Bemnet is also very helpful and quick to respond and has family living within the same building to assist you where needed.

His responsiveness is unparalleled—he replies to messages almost instantly, despite the significant time difference. Communication with him was effortless, and he fulfilled all our requests without hesitation. Yared also arranged for Yonas and Romano to assist my family and me during our stay, and they were just as exceptional. Both were incredibly helpful and easy to communicate with. Yonas even went above and beyond by giving us a ride and helping with our luggage when we checked out. My family and I had an incredible time staying at Yared’s place. The home was impeccably clean and stunning—honestly, even better than the pictures. It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Unlike many other areas in Addis, there were no issues with water or electricity, thanks to the apartment’s generator and underground water .

The apartment is very big. There is a burger restaurant downstairs getting in and out is easy, very helpful host and very clean apartment. There is one thing I should mention the water pressure of the second bathroom is a bit low, but I believe the host will work on it. Thank you so much for hosting us

Zemam Guest House/

The villa is very big, there are three bedrooms, a large living room, a beautiful kitchen, and a very safe place. Almost everything is next to the house, including food and drink. The owner of the villa is a helpful man, and there is a car that helps you with your daily errands. Mr. David is also helpful and helps you with everything. I advise you to come and live here. Lovely suite w/VIEWS in the heart of the city

I had an exceptional experience during my 3 weeks stay at Bemni's Airbnb in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Bemni proved to be an exceptionally friendly, attentive and respectful host who consistently prioritised the well-being of her guests. The house is perfectly located in a vibrant neighbourhood with plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance, including some famous names. One of the outstanding features of the accommodation is the well-equipped communal kitchen, complete with all the necessary appliances and designated storage space for personal belongings in the cupboards and fridge. In addition, the location offers convenient access to various bus routes, including the local Uber service. Bemni, a warm and caring individual, takes great pride in maintaining the cleanliness of the communal areas, ensuring that the kitchen is always spotless. I would highly recommend Bemni's place to anyone looking for accommodation in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
