Stout Cabin w/ Fire Pit: 1 Mi to Ohio River!

MattRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This is a great place to stay If you’re looking for an affordable weekend trip ! The cabin was very clean, in peaceful area, and the neighbor was nice. Shawnee State Park was about 30 minutes away for the kids and I to hike, fish and enjoy a nice dinner at the lodge with guests.
The loft area features a cozy seating arrangement with an orange foldable sofa. A wooden ceiling adds warmth, while natural light enters through the window. A set of bunk beds provides additional sleeping space, with a comfortable sleeping area visible on each level.

Mineral Springs Lake Resort- Cabin #2

CheriRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Great place to stay at an affordable rate... Our family of 5 stayed for a week. And was provided only 6 towles and a few wash rags. I definitely think they should fully stock for a family staying for a week. Tried to ask about fire wood a few times and never got a response, even on how to purchase because the store was closed we didnt know where to get any from. Luckily the local campers were very sweet and friendly and didnt mind loading us down with wood 🙂. The locals are lovely people. Other then that the cabin did its job and we had a great time.
A small black pig is seen roaming through a gravel path. The pig's thick fur and rounded body blend with the greenery surrounding it. Soft sunlight filters through the trees in the background, providing a natural setting that enhances the peaceful atmosphere of the area.

Just like the name states this is a very cozy hideaway. If you’re looking to go off grid and need some peace and quiet this is the spot. The hosts were Absolutely wonderful their hospitality and kindness are unmatched I was recommended hiking trails and all of what’s notable in the area. They were very accommodating if I needed anything they were ready to help. The area is secluded and your about two football fields away from the hosts house he even has a trail that leads from your cabin to there back porch incase you need wifi. All in all it was a wonderful time and I will defs be back soon to visit my new friends and hike some more trails!!!

Treasure at the end of the Road!

MichaelRating, 5 stars1 month ago
My family and I just spent a weekend at this place and it was awesome. It’s an older house that’s very well maintained. It has a lot of hunting memorabilia (as well as other very cool antiques) which for our family made us feel right at home. But even if you’re not a hunter, the beautiful surroundings and peaceful setting of this place cannot be beat. Terri was an amazing host and very responsive to every request. Highly recommend this place.
