Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Adams County

We stayed for a family Christmas get-together as the house was large enough to accommodate all of us. The area is very private and safe, and the view is wonderful. Given that we stayed in December, all of the leaves were off the trees which allowed for even more panoramic views from the bluff overlooking the Quincy Bay westward toward Missouri. Also, as a given during December, we were not able to utilize the screened-in porch. This would be a wonderful place to sit in the spring and fall, or if you were lucky enough to catch a cool, low humidity, summer evening. The location is on the north end of the city, so all entertainment and shopping is a drive into town, though not too far. The beautiful neighborhood would lend itself to nice walks, weather permitting. Penny is a great host, and was very responsive to us for questions we had during the stay. Overall, this is a great stay if you don't mind the price, or can share it with family or friends.

This home and the views are stunning. We were in town for homecoming at Quincy University and this house fit our needs perfectly. The house is exactly as described with plenty of fresh linens and a fully stocked kitchen. We truly enjoyed the beautiful views and stunning sunsets.

I stopped in for a few hours on my drive across the country. The hosts were super nice and accommodating. It’s a clean room with the right amount of pillows.

This home is amazingly beautiful, as stated, with gracious space and view. The private area was wonder and gives the feeling of being in your own home. I hosted a early breakfast on the beautiful screened in porch, for several family members who traveled from many different states, for our family reunion. My guest that shared the home, stated, this grades at a 💯%. Would love to stay here again. Would like to suggest to the owner, to upgrade mattress and add window covering, at least in the bedrooms. No complaints, and it definitely would be recommended to anyone looking for a top notch Airbnb. Pandora thank you for helping to make a very comfortable weekend stay. We were in Quincy to visit family for Thanksgiving. This was our second stay at Kristi’s house. The house was perfect for our needs. Our two dogs had a great time playing in the large fenced backyard, and we loved the cozy house. Highly recommend Kristi’s place for a visit to Quincy!

This place was cozy, clean, and in a great location. It is close to the grocery store, great restaurants and Quincy University, which was ideal for me. It was very quiet, making for a relaxing stay. Overall, a great place to stay, and I would definitely recommend it!

This home is centrally located among the stately homes on Maine St in Quincy. The 100 year old home is showcased to experience its age with the exception of the kitchen and baths which have been exquisitely renovated. It meets all of your needs. We had four cars which could be parked on the property. We spent hours on the portico each day and walked the beautiful neighborhood. We arranged two home tours through the Visitor and Convention Center which were within a walkable distance. The home accommodated our group of six, but could easily accommodate eight people. The kitchen was well stocked, and beds linens, accessories were wonderful. We had one question, and our host responded immediately. My stay was a mini reunion of “old” college friends from several states. They loved the home and described Quincy as very affordable and very beautiful.
