Fantastic property, exactly as described and as photos showed. Parking space right at front door. Very clean, well maintained and very comfortable. Dog friendly 🐶🐾, even a jar of dog treats left for our wee pooch. Lots of information given at the property and online, great communications from hosts. Great location, 1 minute walk from park, Tesco and co-op shop very nearby, about 10-15 minute walk in to York Centre, and about 25-30 minute walk to train station. Would absolutely stay here again 😀

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely, spacious home! The house was perfect for our group—it was clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing weekend. One of the biggest highlights was the location—just a short drive and walk to the wedding we were attending, which made everything so convenient. It was great to be able to get ready together in such a nice space and come back to unwind after the celebration. The host was friendly and responsive, and check-in was smooth and easy. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone attending events in the area or just looking for a peaceful getaway in a beautiful home.

Whether we are there as a couple, or it is one man and his whippet :-) , Nicola's place always delivers. The dog friendly garden is a dream, walks close by and a simply beautiful part of the world. Nicola is always friendly and a great host. We are regulars and hope to continue to be! Thanks for another great stay. I had to pick Pinter (whippet) up to put him in the car as he didn't want to leave!

We had a great weekend at Amy's home, the view is stunning, as is the house, with a great open plan space, perfect for friends to get away. There is everything you might possibly need in the kitchen which is well laid out. The beds are very comfy, it was quite difficult to get out of them on Sunday morning to be out by 10 😀. Amy was very helpful when we had an issue with the showers. Great stay and highly recommended.

Great weekend in York on a girls trip. The house was perfectly located within a short walk to York centre. The house was comfortable and as described. The parking was ideal for one car. Our only downside was lots of the plates and cutlery were dirty eg tea stained cups, spoons and left over food underneath plates. This is obviously down to previous guests not cleaning things properly as there is no dishwasher. Jemma provided lots of cleaning products and the house is beautifully decorated. We most definitely would stay again.

An amazing find! The house was so close to the city centre and, on a great little high street, it met all our needs! Allowing well-behaved dogs is really appreciated too. Sera was quick to reply to our communications, recommending great restaurants and coffee shops; the property exceeded our expectations and we would definitely book again the next time we’re in York. We had a lovely 3 night stay as a party of 6 plus a little one. James communicated well without throughout and we were even able to check in early. Even when the power for hot tub had tripped James was on it straight away. Would definitely recommend staying and look forward to booking again

Absolutely stunning cottage, a perfect home away from home especially with a little one in tow. Beautifully clean and homely, private but still close to get some amazing food. Comfortable beds, we loved the little touches of games/books and tea/coffee/sugar (which we forgot to bring!). The gardens were gorgeous, unfortunately we didn’t have time to explore everywhere though. Just a little note, the wifi could do with seeing to as it didn’t seem to work for us but was no biggie for us as it was nice to be away from technology for a change. Overall just a very nice place to stay, definitely underpriced in my opinion!😊

We had the beer weekend at Charlotte Cottage with our cockapoo! So much space for him to run around. Close enough to Malton we could go for dinner and everywhere is dog friendly! You could have easily stayed in, ordered in or made food and used the numerous facilities at Langton hall. We will be back!

Absolutely loved our stay at Cliff House with Jacquline. Beautiful location, swimming pool was such a bonus for the children, they loved it! The grounds were fantastic, such a lot to explore, our children loved the chickens and climbing frame and the private wood was great for hide and seek. Jacquline was such a great, friendly host and gave us great advice about visiting York. She even arranged an Easter egg hunt for our children. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend.

We’ve just returned from a fantastic five days at Birdforth Hall. The accommodation is brilliant and very spacious even with 8 adults and 3 babies. The pool is great and the perfect temperature, and the other entertainment on offer is great. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a break away!

Had an amazing weekend at Rachael's caravan, this was our second visit and we 100% plan on coming again. Rachael is a wonderful host who is easy to contact and she takes pride in her beautiful caravan. The caravan was extremely clean, comfortable and very homely, as the weather was warm we spent most of our time outside on the decking which had plenty of seating space and the hot tub was a great added extra enjoyed mostly by the kids. There was plenty to do onsite including the swimming pool, a private dog park where you can let your doggos off lead and play. The staff at the main reception were friendly and helpful and the bar area was clean with lots food and drink options. We would highly recommend coming to stay at Serendipity and we will be visiting again.

JUST WOW. Had 3 wonderful nights at the cottage, the cottage was fabulous and felt like a step back in time, all the ornaments and furniture really made the place, the cottage lit up beautifully in the night. The outside woodland was a fantastic touch, outside fire pit with a cooking slab was great to cook on, swinging chair attached to the trees, and the bush bath WOW. Felt amazing sitting in the bath outside listening to the birds chatter away and the bonus of the woodland lights in the evening. The local area was great lots to do and vist, The local village was a nice walk to get to along with exploring around , we done a lot of hiking and wild swimming so many different routes to pick from followed by a lovely pub meal or the outside fire/bbq. Heath is a fantastic host, very informative and very easy going, communication was brilliant too. I Would 100% recommend this getaway

Had a great stay at the bungalow. It was well equipped and the outside area was lovely to sit in and was secure for our Dog to go out in. Great location in a quiet beautiful area where you could sit and relax in the garden. We enjoyed the beautiful walks Rebecca had suggested by the river and in the woods. Also enjoyed visiting Beningbrough national trust which was round the corner. Rebecca made us very welcome with treats on our arrival for both us and Honey, she gave us very clear guidance on everything we needed to know and directions prior to our arrival. She also gave us great, clear information for Honey as well as recommendations for walks and dog friendly pubs/restaurants. We will definitely be returning for another visit in the future.

Great location with parking directly outside. Walking distance straight down the A19 to the Minster. Was very homely and comfortable with everything you’d need. Would stay again when visiting York.

Charlie’s barn is lovely. Just perfect for the 2 of us. It’s in a great location to explore the Yorkshire wolds and easy to get to the coast. The village has a great pub with lovely food, and some great walks in the surrounding areas. Highly recommend

This little place was just what my son and I were looking for to make our stay in York truly special. Clean, well-appointed, and beautifully located near historic York. Ed reached out to make sure we were comfortable, and provided spot-on recommendations for sights in York, restaurants, and nightlife. We felt like we’d known him for years.

This was a birthday surprise for myself and we were blown away with the place. Its so beautiful and in such an amazing location. The cabin itself was stunning with natural wood used everywhere with a stream and woodland all around creating such a tranquil place. The wildlife around the cabin alone was unreal with birds, squirrels, caterpillars and water voles all putting on a beautiful show. The aroma walking in was beautiful and added to the ambience. Check in was easy and straight into the cabin so little contact needed which was great. Katy and Scott were lovely giving us local hiking tips and info about the area. A lovely couple who have created something really special at the lazy T (brook). The outdoor shower was amazing so hot and so nice to be under the trees with the sun shining through a truly relaxing experience. We honestly cannot sing its praises enough it was the perfect location and accommodation and just what we needed for a relaxing break away. Thank you so much ❤️
