If you’re staying in York, England you cannot go wrong staying at this cozy home. Wonderful location, relaxing home, beautiful surroundings and wonderful guests. My highest recommendation. You will not be disappointed.

The house was in an great location, town centre is a 5 minute walk away. Home was lovely and stocked up with things for tea/coffee and more. Hosts communication was clear and consistent and it was easy to check in. Parking was sorted by our hosts and they organised this in advance of our visit. We loved the small touches such as extra plugs in bedrooms and books or leaflets about York. We would highly recommend to anyone visiting York, and would look to stay here again!

Lovely, cosy home, exactly as described and pictured. Kind and helpful host. Great location, across from an excellent supermarket, and just a stroll from the center of town, with the city walls and York Minster and The Shambles.

Excellent stay with spacious clean well located accommodation. We really enjoyed staying here and will definitely use this Airbnb again whenever we come back to Harrogate. The host is very quick to respond and is very accommodating and just made us feel very welcome in her place.

Had an amazing stay at York, which made my family and I felt just right at home. Conveniently located at a peaceful estate with a 10min walk to the city centre. Rachel was very responsive and tried her best to accommodate to our needs. The kitchen and bathroom were very clean and well equipped with whatever we need. The linen (hotel grade towels) are clean (I usually don't trust Airbnb towels but this was trustable). The beds were super comfortable, especially the master bedroom one. Even though the house was very old, it still feels very cozy and comfortable. Highly recommended if you are planning to stay in York! 5/5!! ✨

We have absolutely loved Hedgehog cottage from the minute we arrived. So quiet and peaceful. Immaculately clean and nothing has gone unthought of. Dog blankets for the pooch, shower gels for the humans and even softener/ wash etc. we have extended our stay even longer as this is the perfect spot for us! The Sunday dinner at bricklayers is to die for and the fish and chips! We have yet to try pie night though!! Just the nicest hosts and always on hand to answer questions. Really comfy beds and loads of clean bedding etc in cupboard! 13/10

Lovely, relaxing location. They kindly provided a travel cot and high chair for our toddler. The pool was a highlight, warm enough to use in April!

We had a comfortable and cozy break at Charlotte's Cottage. The grounds were the beautiful and perfect for our dog!

Lovely stay, shepherds hut was well equipped and had all you needed and was nice and cosy inside… outdoor space was also great and we loved the hot tub and bbq facilities which were provided. Gillan was a great host and showed us around, but privacy was not invaded which we liked. Would definitely recommend a stay here

The cottage was lovely. Well equipped kitchen. Spacious and warm. The real selling point for us though were all of the activities available on site. More than we got value from to be honest and a future stay would be longer. Perfect escape opportunity for a group of families as you have your own space but also plenty of communal areas and lovely grounds. Also not far to Malton. Pretty town and well served by independent shops/cafes as well as supermarkets.

Honestly can't rate this place highly enough. We planned to stay for 2 nights but had such a great time we ended up staying an extra night. Extremely clean, lovely and quiet (it was off season) and plenty of places walkable or within a short drive. Everyone on the site seemed lovely and Angela was very responsive and gave lots of really good information before and during our visit. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Expensive but worth every penny for our 4 generation trip. Rooms for exuberant kids and quiet rooms for 90+ years old great grand parents. Large sociable kitchen diner . Swim spa at 35c so great for the Californian kids.

Richard & Kim provided very informative written guides on anything one might need or like to do while staying at their lovely cottage. They looked after details in the cottage in a way that shows care and love. They even made us a handmade jam! It was our first visit to Yorkshire and they made it a memorable one. We had a comfortable stay that we enjoyed so much.

Beautiful home, very attentive hosts, even with a slight issue out of the hosts hands, we had a lovely stay.

Terry's place is lovely. It was very cosy and had everything we needed for our short stay. Wed definitely stay again!

I brought the break as a 70th birthday gift for my Mother and she thoughroly enjoyed the break, she said it was exactly as described and Liesa was friendly, welcoming and gave them recommendations for dinner. The property is in a great location to explore and managed to visit a few national trust venues, She loved the welcome bits when they arrived and overall had a brilliant stay. Thank you :)

John was so helpful our entire stay. Very friendly, happy to share some places to eat and walk. I am 7 months pregnant and asked of we could use their air con (even though it wasn't summer) and he promptly got it out and set up for us - made me so much more comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

I had a wonderful overnight stay at Petra's Airbnb, it was lovely and zen. Petra was really friendly and it was great that it dog friendly too, with some nice walks close by. It was clean and cosy, I wish I'd been able to stay for longer.
