We had a great stay! The host communicated clearly and promptly, making everything easy from start to finish. The home was clean, beautifully maintained, and full of character—a stunning Tudor style with lots of unique interior touches. The quaint back garden was a lovely bonus. I highly recommend this location to anyone! Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay while visiting for a softball tournament. The hosts were a delight to interact with and the property was fantastic. This area has great places to eat and shop nearby. We will definitely be staying again in the future.

Great space for our family trip. We were in Lafayette to visit family and the house was perfectly size for our family to stay (4 adults, 5 kids, 1 baby). Everyone had plenty of space and that was in the main house. Overall it was a great value and perfect for our family Thanksgiving trip.

We enjoyed our stay and the house. Pool was very relaxing . Neighborhood was very peaceful, and there was plenty of space inside the home , very clean and Accommodating!

Paz was an amazing host. I would definitely book with her again. We were coming in late on Thanksgiving night and she called to make sure we were O.K. and had a pie baked for us when we got there. She asked what temperature we liked to have the place and she had it all set when we got there. Very spacious house, beautifully decorated and feels like a home and not just a place with a bed. Absolutely loved our stay!!!

Spacious, more so than shown by the photos. Comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, plenty of towels and supplies. Babette was a very responsive host. We had a couple of minor issues which were quickly resolved.

It was a quiet area with comfortable beds. I’m a bit of a neat freak but the cleanliness was lacking. Food crumbs and a piece of licorice were under the sofa cushions and the cabinet under the kitchen sink was caked with a nasty black paste from food waste. This was a nice place to sleep.

Malcolm’s house was great for our family - comfortable and clutter-free, plenty of space, and the kids (aged 7 & 5) loved the jacuzzi tub. They’ve never been so clean! Malcom checked in on us and even kindly provided some snacks. We’ll be back!

Everything was great. Not far from some good restaurants and shopping centers. Would definitely recommend this property. Very quiet and peaceful.

Me and my family really enjoy our trip to New Roads. we also enjoyed the host and they made show we was very comfortable. everything was just right with no worries or anything. It was a smooth transition coming in to enjoy the festivities and leaving as well. we will visit again next year

Great house and host! The house is exactly as pictured and was conveniently located in a quite, pretty neighborhood. It was perfect and easy for our needs!

What a perfect house for what I needed! I originally looked for a home large enough for my bridesmaids and I to get ready. Then after finding this, I decided to also hold my rehearsal dinner here. All of my guests were locals, and everyone was so impressed with the amazing find- this home was beautiful and such a great space. Some of my friends are already thinking of the “girls weekends” we could have here. The porch was absolutely beautiful as well, lined with old church pews. I will no doubt use this place again in the near future.

Akeia is extremely responsive and polite. So helpful with questions! The home was clean, exactly as pictured, beds were soft, pillows comfortable, neighborhood quiet, water pressure great, full stocked kitchen, fast WiFi, TV’s in all rooms, ample parking space, NICE AND EXTRA towels (such a plus when traveling!), private fenced in yard, extra toiletries in bathrooms in case you forgot any, a coffee makers WITH Kurig cups/creamer provided, extra trash bags, and more. So many thoughtful touches that made this house feel homey during our stay. A simple check out procedure left us extremely happy with being allowed to stay at Akeia’s home. An easy 15 minute drive to the LSU stadium for anyone looking during sporting events. Thanks Akeia! 😊🙌🏼
