Sleep in a Vault on Main Street! - The Bank Hotel.

We would stay here again. If I had to pick something negative to say it would be the door. You had to be very careful to shut the door all the way or it would pop back open. It happened to me once. Luckily the place and the general area felt safe so I didn’t worry about it, but I did double check the door after that.

Carriage House: Victorian Room

AeronRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Adorable and unique property. The host was very friendly and helpful. The recommend restaurant was not as half good as the amazing breakfast we had at the Mansion. What a delightful surprise!
The exterior of the Carriage House showcases a charming white facade with a dark green roof and trim. A large red double door creates a focal point, while the surrounding shady oak trees provide a serene atmosphere. A gravel pathway leads up to the entrance.

Carriage House: Empire Loft Family Suite

I appreciate a clean and safe place along the highway and this place is a favorite. We had booked two nights and only needed one. It is still a bargain. Unfortunately we were the ones who caused damage in the form of a broken toilet seat. We will always recommend.

The Pelican Room with Private bathroom

CynthiaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Loved our stay at the ‘Old Hotel.’ It was perfect for walking to the Crawfish festival, the parade, great restaurants and shops in town. It really added to the cultural experience of staying in Cajun country, and we bonded with the other guests to boot! Loved it and would definitely come back!
The bright room features a spacious bed centered against a vibrant yellow wall. Large windows with green curtains provide natural light, while bedside lamps add functionality. A soft area rug lies beneath the bed, complementing the wooden flooring.

Hotel Klaus

What a surprise Hotel Klaus is….. and in all the right ways! Hosts were extremely responsive and nice, our room was spotless and comfy, and we felt safe in the location! From first walking in to the adorable lobby with bright wallpaper and Christmas music to the refurbished original murals on the walls….. this place is perfection! Hotel Klaus has been lovingly rehabilitated without loosing the charm of the original building! Our room was spacious…. Mattress like a cloud….. and the pillows like marshmallows! (We slept like a dream!) If you can make this trip around Christmas….. do it! The whole town is decorated! If you’re looking to stay at any other time….. definitely book now! 15/10 recommend! What an experience! Also, don’t miss eating at Steamboat Warehouse….. located right on the bayou! The food was delectable!

Hotel Klaus

Unfortunately, me and my wife were only able to stay one night, but the Klaus was one of the nicest Airbnb’s. We’ve stayed at.
The hotel logo is prominently displayed in elegant, scripted typography. The design features ornate flourishes that frame the text, with the name 'The Betty Jane' standing out in larger letters above the phrase 'A Boutique Hotel' in smaller text.

The Betty Jane ~ A parents love is never forgotten

I’ve never felt more like a treasured guest! I’ve stayed at the Ritz before - the hosting here rivals that caliber. Such beautiful details, well done. The house flows; has charm, and all the amenities I could think to need. Lovely. This will be our regular booking for years to come.

Room#5 Centerville Steamboat Inn

AnnetteRating, 5 stars15 months ago
I stayed 4 nights at The Steamboat Inn. I didn't arrive til later in the evening and my GPS rerouted me. Charles helped over the phone find the inn and he stayed til I arrived. All is as described and better. Charles is a font of information and very knowledgeable about the rich history of the area. The neighbors are friendly and courteous. I espenjoyed the lovely spring weather just sitting on the front porch and relaxing. I dined at 2 very good seafood restaurants and did the Plantation home tour and museum in Franklin as recommended by Charles. I can't wait to return. Charles and Wes make you feel right at home with their southern charm and hospitality.

The Stork Room with Private bathroom

WendyRating, 5 stars3 months ago
“Charming”, “quirky” and “delightful” we all agreed. We were 8 friends occupying all 5 bedrooms of the Old City Hotel, a unique and historic building. Each room had its own bathroom, and all bedrooms and beds were declared comfortable by their occupants. We would have really enjoyed the nice backyard overlooking Bayou Teche had the weather permitted. Location, location, location! Great restaurants, bars and shops just around the corner. Don’t miss Cafe Sydnie Mae, Lagniappe Antique Mall or the boudin and chili dog kolaches from Cajun Market Donut. Our host was extremely attentive and responsive to our needs and so helpful with suggestions and recommendations. Thank you, Debora. Favorite time in the hotel was gathering with friends in the charming parlor for conversations over coffee or adult beverages. Could have only been better if the room had more comfy seating. To stay in the Old City Hotel is to be immersed in the history of that delightful building and community.
