Our "Borgo" (FARM HOLIDAYS VILLAGE) is a characteristic 17th century cottage all surrounded by very big private gardens with charming POOL & solarium facing on mountains. Located in the core of Abruzzo region, nestled between the high MOUNTAINS of two of the largest NATIONAL PARKS in Europe ("Majella" and "Gran Sasso"), it's only 30 minutes drive from BEACHES and important cities & services. The hosts know well and love their territory and are always available to propose tailor-made itineraries.

Log cabin with great view

The cosy log cabin is located separately on a small-scale nature campsite, between ancient olive trees. The hut has a living area including a kitchenette and a sleeping area for two people. Around the cabin you can see the peaks of the Gran Sasso on one side and the high mountains of the Majella on the other side. At the terrace there's a lot of privacy. The municipal access road to the site is a little steep. Within walking distance you can find a pizzeria and during the weekend an agriturismo.

Live an authentic experience in an unspoiled rural place! Il Pagliaio is an old barn hidden in a peaceful secular olive grove overlooking Mount Maiella. Set high on a hill it is away from it all but it is only 3km from Tocco da Casauria village, 5km from the highway, 45km from the main local town Pescara. Relax under the shade of a hundred olive trees or head off to discover the surroundings. The inside is an open space in a simple and basic style, reflecting the rural spirit of the place.

Immersed in the nature of the Simbruini Mountains, you can rediscover an ancient and natural environment inspired by the early 1900s. You will not find the comforts of a hotel room, but the unique experience of spending a weekend rediscovering the ancient customs of peasant culture. Lighting with candles, kitchen heating and hot water with wood-burning stove, well water with old manual pump. You won't find wifi but a connection between yourself and nature. 2 adults and 1 child

Have you ever sleep in a wine barrel? Our barrel is made up by 100% of natural wood. The whole structure is eco-friendly and earthquake-proof. Its shape is perfectly combined with the natural landscape rich of vineyards. Our barrel can be accommodate up to four people. There are a small living room and a private bathroom with wc, sink and shower. This is the ideal place to spend a weekend far from chaos and relax.

Rifugio dei Marsi is located on the hills of the Marche Region (Sibillini Mountains National Park) where you can live wild nature. The barrels enjoy a panoramic position inside our farm where you can see our vegetable and aromatic garden, vineyard, truffle forest (prized black truffle). Our agritourism is plastic free and our furniture is made up of wood and recycled materials. We prepare food from our farm.

The Custodian's Cottage

The Casetta was built in 1873 as a surveillance point for the waters of the Sangro river that flowed right behind it and its flow was regulated by grids and gates that kept the debris or increased or reduced its flow... hence the name the Casetta del Custode precisely because it was built to "guard" and control the waters of the Sangro river...
