Big house with a big, well equipped kitchen/living room that is nice to hang out with your friends or family. The balcony is also great, with a nice partial view of the sea and green surroundings. It has permanent water and electricity. It has a washing machine, which is a plus. This place was very good value for the money, and Sir Jean Yves is a nice folk who is always willing to help and make you feel comfortable at his place.

The absolute PERFECT spot for a family!! All the amenities you could ever want or need. Directly on a quiet beach just as nice as white beach. Anywhere else you want to go such as main town for shopping or groceries is only a 50 cent tricycle ride away. Seeing the sunrise and moonrise from the bedroom or patio everyday was breathtaking. Nestor is the best caretaker we have ever had and can recommend all the best spots to go, even transporting you himself. Pictures simply dont do this place justice as the landscaping is incredible. An oven for baking is VERY rare in Philippines and your own boat if you wish. Im really not sure why this place wouldn't be booked 365 days a year as anyone who books a hotel or other home is a simpleton :) Feel very lucky to have chosen this place and you should not hesitate in anyway at all. Id honestly rate it 11/10 and dare anyone to differ.

We had a great stay at Filippo's. It was conveniently located only minutes from White Beach and walking distance to a local beach. Filippo and the caretaker were very friendly and helpful.

overall the stay was good , we were 3 families with kids and stayed there for 5 days ,place was big enough to accomadte all of us..host was quite reachable and assisted with pick up and drop from ferry station ..also he guided us to travel agency who arranged our island and inland trips in reasonable price... its nice property sorrunded by woods though a little far from beach...suggestion to have a aircon in living room and a microwave oven in kitchen , rest everything was good, thanks Hans

A lovely room attached to a great diving resort. The resort itself focuses heavily on diving, but the owner was incredible at facilitating activities both in and out of the resort and made everything as painless as possible. The hassle of COVID restrictions to enter Mindoro was 100% worth it to escape the reality of NCR.

The place was beautiful. You get to see the beach front from the veranda or from the master's bedroom. The split type air-conditioned was strong enough to cool the second bedroom. There's a small kitchen with basic cooking utensils, a pot and pan if you choose to do your own cooking. However, it lacked serving platters and serving spoons. For a 5 pax unit, there was not enough hanging rods for wet towels and swim clothes. For days that you don't want to cook, there's a resto bar that you can dine in. It takes them 2 hours before food is served. Henceforth, place your orders 2 hours before meal times. Price of food in the menu is reasonable. I would recommend this place for people who wants a quiet and chill place to stay.

Amy's self-contained studio apartment is large and private. It's the perfect hideaway and at the back of Arkipelago Divers, which is run by Amy and Pedro, with a joyful team. Being at the back of the dive center and restaurant, you're amongst residents (including pets) and some back-of-house operations. I like that family vibe. If you're a scuba diver, staying in Small La Laguna and with Arkipelagos is convenient, quiet, and essential for quality diving and expert guiding. The operation is well-run and very professional. Great for photographers too. The restaurant, pool, hang-out areas, beachfront, staff, and diving make this place complete. No need to go anywhere else. Amy is open-hearted, welcoming, and helpful to all with hands-on advice and assistance with travel and other information. 5 Star hospitality! I've had the best week, amazing dives, lots of laughs, and have been embraced like family. I'll be returning and will recommend to others. THANK YOU, Amy, Pedro, and crew!

I have had a great experience staying at Amy's house. The place is quiet as its located inside a small street. the place is clean. Amy also organised a pick up service and greeted us in person us even though we had a late check in. Most importantly, Amy is an honest person, she literally saved my life by preventing me from doing scuba diving as she just realised my flight was scheduled at the same day as the day i am going to do a scuba diving and if i did dive on that day i couldve died due to low cabin pressure on the flight back to sydney. thank you Amy, i really appreciate what youve done and cant recommend Amy's place enough. Guys dont even think about it, just book this place now!

This quaint house has everything you need. Friendly staff and location is perfect. Just talk or msg Amy of what you need and she or her team will help you and give you options for your convenience.

The location is okay, the house is big, the pool is amazing, can stay more than a dozen people, suitable for a few families or a group of friends.We were a little extravagant for 4 adults.The kitchen is more fully equipped, and it is no problem to cook your own meals.The housekeeper was also very attentive, helping to arrange all kinds of getting around and horse killing chickens, overall good👍

We had a great stay, which we extended twice and were very sad to leave. The place and surrounding nature are very peaceful and inspiring, and the family was a great help throughout our entire stay. Big hug and thank you to Claudette and Kuya Abel! We loved waking up to all the different birdsongs, and learning about the mangroves along the river. The property had some creative quirks to it, we enjoyed admiring the design, natural materials, and the wonderful artwork created by the host. We wouldn't have changed a thing, and hope to return one day. PS we miss the cats and dogs! 🐕

We really liked the place (stayed for 5 days). Its an adventure getting there, but all worth it at the end! A little cocoon of hapiness. Stuck in the ricefields between the ocean and the mountains, this little piece of architectural beauty is yet to be discovered. Mac (the caretaker) was great, helping for groceries ans organising activities (fishing, rivertrek). Simple, well taking care off and friendly people what do you want more?

Our stay at the Hilltop Guest House was absolutely fantastic! Jasmin had organised a ride from the port with a personal sign and from the moment we arrived, Jasmin and Randy made us feel incredibly welcome and right at home. It's amazing to think that Randy built the entire place himself over three years, including all the furniture! This place is huge! Lots of space and three very big rooms all with ac accommodated five of us very comfortably, and it was great to know they have spare beds available if needed. I especially loved waking up to the surroundings and seeing monkeys on the veranda in the morning eating the fruit I had left out the night before, such a unique experience! The location is perfect! A little bit away from the hustle, offering peace and quiet, yet close enough to easily access the beaches/town. Jasmin also organized fantastic activities for us, like island hopping, which made our stay even more memorable. I can't recommend this place enough for anyone! Salamat!!

Absolutely amazing venue. Stunning location and views to die for. The photo’s don’t do justice to the space, really is fabulous and felt very secure. Loads thoughtful extras, kitchen well equipped and everything is cleaned daily. Rod’s a gold mine of knowledge and can arrange anything you need from bikes to porters to mountain walks or just ambling around the huge grounds. Definitely will be back to enjoy space and warm hospitality of Necerita and Rod, thanks both.

Capitol Hills Apartelle is a great place to stay in Mindoro Occ. it is near the town center with peaceful surroundings and walking distance to the highway. Room is very clean and linens are great. it is beside a very nice restaurant- Kusina ni Pedro. the host is very friendly and accomodates the needs of the guests. will definitely stay again.

Everything was clean and convenient. Very comfortable, good for long term stay.
