Cabin vacation rentals in Abitibi-Témiscamingue

From my time conversing with Jocelyn around planing our trip I found her to be a very kind, responsive, and receptive host. As for our stay at The Athena Cabin. It was picturesque and wonderfully cozy for our group of 10. The rent was a little expensive for us, however no part of our experience felt cheap. The kitchen is well stocked. The house was spotless. The neighbours were friendly. The only problem my group had was our lack of preparation for the lack of potable drinking water (2024), which that was easily remedied by a trip to a near by grocery store mentioned by a provided list of important near by locations. Overall, I think the cabin is well worth the price for anyone who can fill it up and is looking for a classier getaway. Everyone in my group had a great time staying here and we would love to come again in the future. P.S - Something she doesn’t mention is how pretty the sunsets is on the lake. It was so beautiful we all went out to see.

Beautiful little quiet chalet on the waterfront. We enjoyed our girls' weekend. We were 7 people + dog (4 adults and 3 children). We enjoyed the great hot tub. We also took advantage of the lake to swim and paddle boat. We also relaxed well around the fire in the evening. The upper gallery was large and had a beautiful view of the lake. My daughter and niece told me they would have wanted to stay for the week so much that they had fun at the cottage. Thanks again!

The place is great. About 20-25 minutes from New Liskeard, which has everything you need, including great restaurant, 28 on the Lake. The view from the cottage/veranda is beautiful. Cottage has its own boat ramp, which worked well for us. The hot tub was amazing, we really used it a lot. The sauna also worked well. Cottage was clean and everything worked. And, finally, Katrin was extremely fast with her responses and her answers were always helpful.

I had an incredible stay at this cabin! From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the breathtaking views – they were absolutely stunning. The interior was beautifully decorated and had such a cozy, welcoming vibe. The space was immaculate, and it really felt like a home away from home. The beds were super comfy, everything exceeded expectations. On top of all that, the host was fantastic – super friendly and quick to respond to any questions. I can't recommend this place enough. Will definitely be returning!

The place was magical and peaceful. We should’ve went last month as it was very cold and fall almost over but we had a great time regardless!

Perfect getaway for a little family rest and relaxation!!

We wanted a place to stay that was relatively close to Antoine Mountain, and a place that was peaceful and private. We were so lucky to find Alan's place, 15 minutes from Antoine Mountain, and only a few minutes from Mattawa (which had any food and supplies that we needed). We stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our experience in the cabin. Alan was very helpful from the time we checked in until we checked out - always respecting our privacy. The cabin had all we needed to be cozy and comfortable. The hot tub was a wonderful perk after skiing each day! We look forward to going back in the warmer months to be able to take advantage of how close the cabin is to various canoe routes and hiking trails. Thank you, Alan, for making it a great mini-vacation!

Jason and his wife, Candice were very friendly hosts. The cabin was everything Jason described it as. He even gave my some extra blankets to keep myself warm at night, and made sure in general that I was happy with my stay. I’d definitely 10/10 come back!

Had an amazing stay in this cozy chalet with a beautiful lake and fall views full of colours! Gurmeet was very responsive and helpful. The drive to this place makes the experience even more beautiful and worthwhile. Will visit again!!

Abi was super friendly, highly responsive, and an overall amazing host. Eggs were great. Cabin was great. You can contact her for any help you need but otherwise she’ll leave you to do your own thing. Fishing was great here as well. There’s a paddle boat, row boat, kayaks and canoes. This place you can tell is constantly getting updated so the description on Airbnb might be outdated. They seriously underpromise and overdeliver despite how thorough the listing is. 10/10 will be back!

Daniel's place was exactly what you see in the posting. very quiet at night and I had a restful couple of days. Daniel was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to highlight good restaurants and points of interest in the area.

Perfect Lakeside Getaway – Highly Recommended! Our stay at Alex and Tiffany’s beautiful lakeside house near Maniwaki was absolutely incredible. The home is brand new, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully designed, making it a perfect retreat. The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even leaving a lovely welcome gift for our stay, which we truly appreciated. One of the best parts about this place is how close it is to everything in the city while still feeling peaceful and secluded by the lake. The views are breathtaking, and the atmosphere is perfect for relaxation. Alex and Tiffany were incredibly thoughtful, even setting up games for our younger ones, which made our stay even more enjoyable. While we visited outside of summer, I can only imagine how amazing it would be in the warmer months, with the lake right there for swimming and outdoor activities. If you’re passing through Maniwaki, I highly recommend staying here—you won’t regret it!

Guy's place was great! I'll be back. There are two other places to rent on the property, and I would say that the location of this building is the least ideal because it doesn't have a direct view overlooking the lake. This would be a big downside if you spent your time sitting inside or on the porch, we did not so it was perfect for us. One other thing is that the I found the shower tight for an adult, but if you need to wash, it'll get the job done. I spent most of my time by or on the water. Take advantage of the available water crafts that are available! I was fishing most of the time and there's a lot of fish to catch. Super comfortable and cozy cabin. Lots of room in the kitchen to get your chef on. As for the property, there's a slightly steep hill between the buildings and the water. Be careful with children or when it's damp. There IS a staircase to help you out. There's quite a bit of cottages around the lake and it could get loud. Quite a bit of motor and pontoon boats

Chantelle and I had a enjoyable stay at Cabin in the Woods. We were blessed with excellent snowmobiling conditions; which was the purpose of our trip. Thanks Lori for your Hospitality.

The cottage was as described. There was plenty of equipment at our disposal whether indoors (kitchen) or outdoors (pedal boat, inflatable boat, paddleboard, etc.). The lake view is superb! The hosts responded quickly to all our questions and made sure we didn't miss anything. Very nice stay.

Our stay at this chalet was amazing! The entire space was charming and perfectly suited for a cozy winter retreat.The chalet was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. From entertainment options like a ping pong table to thoughtful bathroom essentials, every detail was covered. The kitchen was warm and inviting and also fully equipped- making cooking for a group very enjoyable. Both bathrooms were spacious, spotless, and featured showers, making it easy for everyone in our group to freshen up.The dining area was one of our favorite spots—it was beautifully set up and perfect for enjoying meals together. The highlight, though, was the incredible view of the frozen lake right outside the chalet. The location was another major plus as we were just minutes away from a hiking trail. There is also a spa nearby. The host was fantastic—responsive and accommodating. Thank you Koze team for a wonderful stay and we look forward to visiting again in the summer.

We married just weeks before, eloping, but we were so rushed and didn’t get to have our first dance or spend real time with each other (can you believe how busy life is) so we were able to achieve that here. Off grid, no cell service (best thing ever). Propane lanterns, stove and fridge we weren’t expecting. Running water inside was fantastic. Outhouse cute!We so loved all of the little mantra type sayings and writings all over, the painted rocks, the love imbedded into every corner of the cottage. The hand crank radio we found a classic rock station that played all of the songs I wanted to have play if we had a wedding. We love that things are original and the furniture just brought me back to where my soul seems to live. We really felt connected to the original way of living that is preserved when you go to the area of Algonquin Park. What a gift. This glorious spot that was completely void of people other than a helpful neighbour 2 doors down was the peace and tranquility we needed.

Craigs cottage is super clean and cute. Pet friendly which was important for us and lots of area to go on walks. Fully stoked kitchen for cooking and a decent bbq. We will for sure be coming back!

Booked Jessica’s cabin for a get-together with old friends. The wood stove and comfortable seating created the cozy atmosphere we were seeking. The two cabins are very well equipped, and every detail of our stay was thoughtfully considered. There is also no shortage of scenic wilderness all around to explore. A true gem!

Cosy, off-grid cottage with everything you could need. Wonderful French River location. Fantastic host.
