Excellent, clean, chic and comfortable. I will definitely be booking through Michael again. Everything we needed. I only wish we had stayed longer. Stayed only for one night, for a Family event. Fully well equipped kitchen, immaculate throughout. I felt very relaxed and at home.. I brought my 82yr old dad who refuses to leave his home comforts, he is now converted to this type of stay instead of a hotel. Michael was very relaxed about our check in time and accommodated us, so we could arrive early. hope to be back soon

The photos don’t do Camusmore justice - it’s even better in person! The house was perfect for our family getaway - ages 8-70 catered for. Great rooms, well equipped kitchen and lovely surroundings. Plenty seating inside and out with a good sized enclosed garden for dogs and children. Close to plenty of activities and we’d recommend the Balavoulin for food.

This was a lovely little lodge in a beautiful location! We stayed for 2 nights and would definitely love to return in the future! The log burner gave a cozy feel to the place and it was nice to watch the birds on the feeder in the morning with the sunrise. The little extras like the brownies and whisky were a nice touch. We couldn't have asked for better weather as it was sunny both days which gave us the chance to explore Loch Morlich, visit the RSPB centre to see the ospreys which was amazing as well as the cliff railway and lots of other experiences. Alison and Matt were lovely hosts and responded promtly to any questions we had, would highly recommend this spot to anyone wishing to experience the Caringorms!

We’ve loved this accommodation so much!! Extremely beautiful location, the kids loved the surrounding so much, especially the walk that is possible into the nature just from the garden (just wow!). We loved the interior of the house a lot, felt immediately at home and enjoyed a lovely fire inside the house every night. Plus - there is a sauna. We did need a little moment to adjust to the noise of the traffic, given the proximity to the road, but it wasn’t a problem in the evening. We would be happy to come back!

The Coothie Coo Shed was a perfect, peaceful and beautifully located cottage. Everything was immaculate and practical. There were some lovely considered touches which made us feel so comfortable. Homely, cosy and just the perfect solitude for us for three nights. Thank you Winfried for renovating and creating such a lovely space amidst the best hills in Scotland!

A genuinely wonderful stay at Mayen Estate, Ross was responsive, informative, and a great host. On arrival we were given a hamper with local goods, and a card for my partners birthday, as well as a bottle of champagne (which was very much enjoyed!). The house was fantastic, squeaky clean when we arrived and beautifully furnished, with plenty of firewood for the twin fires. The grounds at Mayen are spectacular, and I would highly recommend having a walk around all 700 acres, sadly the walled gardens were closed and under renovation when we stayed. Ross provided a full map of local recommendations, as well as connecting us with a taxi company for a visit to a local distillery. The local recommendations were spot on, and really helped to plan the trip. A lovely stay, and we look forward to returning in the future.

We had a brilliant week at McFarlane Lodge, the weather was really on our side. The second bedroom is a lot bigger than it looks with 2 double beds within it. The house is well equipped with everything you need, we appreciated the board games! The garden is really lovely, our daughters enjoyed the swing and we saw lots of little birds and wildlife. We were well placed for lots of activities, visited some castles, the dolphin centre, North East Falconry, Landmark adventure park as well as the Highland Wildlife Park. Many distilleries near by if you are a whisky fan. Thank you for an amazing trip!

Our only regret is we didn’t stay for longer, but hope to be back asap. 5/5 isn’t enough, as this home and host (Miep) well exceeded all our expectations. It’s no wonder that this cottage is a guest favourite - we absolutely loved it! We were blessed with a few days of glorious weather so we were able to make good use of the rooftop terrace but we decided that even in less good weather the ever changing view from the sun lounge would have kept us happy for hours. The cottage was extremely well equipped and comfortable throughout with an exceptionally detailed information folder. We’d love to return.

We used Mill Cottage as a base for attending a wedding in a nearby town. The cottage was lovely and quiet with everything you would need for a short or a long stay. Follow the directions given by Sonia on the checking in guide as the cottage is only a short distance from the entrance to the Dalvey Estate,(don’t rely on sat nav /postcodes).

We really enjoyed The Burnside Apartment. It was modern, clean and very cosy with the log burner. It served as a good base for sightseeing in the area. We had absolutely everything we needed including farm fresh eggs supplied by the Hosts. There was a good supply of kitchen and bathroom essentials to see us through our stay. The Hosts were very attentive and responsive to any needs. I would highly recommend staying at this apartment.
