Located along the Tornionjoki River, the cottage is the choice of fishermen and holidaymakers who love the river landscape. Marjosaari is a great place to watch and photograph the Northern Lights. There are several attractions nearby and the opportunity to engage in a variety of activities. You can also easily visit Sweden, which can be reached via the Aavasaksa bridge.

Welcome to our cozy lakeside cottage with private sauna on the Arctic Circle, a warm retreat where Nordic simplicity meets soulful comfort. Set on 2.7 ha of private land with direct access to Lake Miekojärvi, it’s the perfect place to slow down, reconnect, and feel again. We are Joakim from Sweden and Jenny from Germany. We fell in love with the stillness and beauty of Arctic Finland, and we’re excited to share our cottage, and a little piece of that magic, with guests from around the world.

Modern Holiday House in Lapland

A brand new wooden holiday house isituated in small village 60km from Rovaniemi and 40km from the Swedish border. There is a big lake close to the cottage, pineforest and cross country skiing & hiking possibilities. The house is well equipped and modern. This is a good holiday house for families with children. There are two bedrooms, a balcony for sleeping, living room with one bed, sofas, dining table and kitchen, bathroom and sauna. You will see reindeer sometimes close to the house.

Our cottage is conveniently located along well-maintained roads, making it easily accessible. Situated near the river, the Swedish border is just across the water, allowing for a seamless journey into Sweden, perhaps via the ice road. The absence of unnecessary lights around provides the perfect setting for observing the Northern Lights. Detached house in Torniojoki valley

Onnela Spacious cozy detached house in the beautiful scenery of Ylitornio. The house has four separate bedrooms, a large living room, a kitchen, a dining area, two toilets and a shower room with a wood-fired sauna. The large backyard is fenced, so pets can run freely. The boat shore and Ylitornio's fine sandy beaches are only about 1 km away. Ainiovaara's magnificent skiing and outdoor areas are located nearby. The Aavasaksa ski slopes are about 15 km away.

Majoitu ainutlaatuisessa ympäristössä alpakkatilan yhteydessä pienessä lappilaisessa kylässä. Viihtyisä pieni mobiili mökki, tai oikeastaan minikoti (tiny cabin on wheels) sijaitsee järven rannalla kukkuloiden keskellä noin tunnin ajomatkan päässä Rovaniemeltä. Keskellä ei mitään, mutta kuitenkin kaiken keskellä! Sopii sinulle, joka haluat tuntea olevasi osa luontoa ja tutustua paikalliseen elämään. Koe aitoa Lapin taikaa vanhojen mäntypuiden alla.

Hietalas River Cabin

Unikt och avkopplande boende med utsikt över Torneälv. En mysig stuga på ca 50 kvm och den perfekta platsen för avkoppling med vänner eller familj. Stugan erbjuder bastu och är ett utmärkt val för resenärer som är intresserade av naturupplevelser och nära aktiviteter som skidåkning och fiske med tillgång till båt. Stugan är belägen 14 km söder om Polcirkeln i en liten by. Avstånd till Rovaniemi flygplats är 96 km och till Luleå Flygplats 124 km.

Karin's guest apartment

Take a break and unwind in this peaceful setting. Karin's apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, bedroom with two single beds and the family room has a double sofa bed. There is also a toilet with shower and a patio where you can enjoy the view of the Kalix River, which is about 40 meters from the apartment. New for summer 2026! Now there is the possibility to rent an electric bike.
