Vladimirs place was exactly as described. The location was perfect - close to the main square in town and the beach. It was extremely clean and spacious for the three of us who were visiting. Would recommend and return.

We had a great stay in Lisboa at Chiho and Nuno’s apartment. It was close enough to Alfama to experience the culture but not close enough that it was noisy or busy where we were. I felt very safe. The apartment had everything we needed and was well-equipped. Thanks for having us

We really enjoyed our 3 nights in the historic center of Sintra. It’s a beautiful small town area to be in. The apartment has everything you need. The location is very cool overlooking the main square. We enjoyed watching the town wake up in the mornings. So many restaurants and bakeries just steps from the front door. We had fun with that after coming from the Azores which are very quiet and remote. In the off season of early May, Sintra closes down by 7 pm. There are very few restaurants or shops open once the day tripping tourists leave. We were surprised by that but didn’t mind it as we were tired after our days spent walking around palaces and castles and beautiful gardens. I’d recommend this apartment to anyone as long as they don’t have mobility issues. There are 33 steps to climb once inside the building. Climbing them was worth it for the views of the historic center of Sintra.

It’s our second time here and our stay was as welcoming as the first. Ana and Jorge’s place is perfectly situated near great restaurants one right next door plus a 15 minute walk to Marquês Pombal and Parque Eduardo Sétimo which has a magnificent view of Lisbon and of the castle from the top. Ana and Jorge always checked on us and left a variety of local foods and beverages upon our arrival that we were so grateful for. Even during our stay Jorge left delicious pastries by the door so not to bother us. Highly recommend this apartment. We will definitely return!!

We had a fabulous stay at Villa Altus with seven adults and four kids. The house was clean and comfortable and had plenty do space for everyone. The kids loved the playroom and the games room, and we all enjoyed the fantastic heated pool. The setting is spectacular amongst the vineyard covered hills, and we ate all of our meals outdoors. It was an easy drive to the coast, where we found beautiful beaches and great restaurants. Lina was wonderfully helpful, and let us check in early and out late, which was great for the babies’ nap schedules. The rooms also have blackout shutters, which helped them adjust to the time change. She provided cribs and high chairs for them. We were also really happy that the pool area is fenced and gated, which made it easier for parents to relax during meals on the patio! Finally for the adults, the showers are amazing. Great pressure and really hot water. I’d recommend Lina and Villa Altus to anyone. It really was perfect.

We really enjoyed our stay at this place very much. The hosts were extremely friendly and always available to help. The house is cozy, especially for those traveling with children, and is situated in a very quiet and safe area — ideal for resting. Although it is not an independent house (it is the ground floor of a house), we always feel comfortable. The location, although a little far from the center, is very accessible by car and allows you to easily explore the attractions in the vicinity. We recommend it to those looking for a calm, family environment.

This place is absolutely beautiful and perfectly located. We slept peacefully and truly enjoyed the comfortable space. It’s within walking distance to many great restaurants and cafés. Rodrigo and Afonso were wonderful hosts who made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. We wish we could have stayed longer, but we hope to return to Lisbon and would love to stay here again.

We loved our month’s stay at Arlinda’s place - a house full of art and history - especially appreciated Arlinda’s creative use of driftwood and branches that made for functional and interesting spaces - 3 outdoor spaces! Her home is right outside the castle walls, easy to walk into the center -

Absolutely the nicest Airbnb we ever stayed in! First, we were able to check in early and the property manager met us and showed us around the place, with local recommendations. Apartment itself was beyond expectations, pictures do not do it justice. So beautifully decorated with everything you could possibly need (even noise machines!) Air conditioning worked great, as it was really hot outside and we did a lot of walking. Would recommend this to our most particular friends when they are traveling to lisbon!

We had a phantastic time at Ana’s place! The house is magnificent and they put a lot of thought in every detail so we had everything we needed and much more. Our requests were handled very quickly and they made everything possible that we needed. Ana and Pedro are super nice hosts and their house and surroundings is even more beautiful than shown in the pictures. Close to the beach at the end of a dead end street with lots of possibilities where you want to spend your time (a the terrace, in the hammock, in the garden) it is just wonderful. If possible I would rate with more than 5 stars.

We had a wonderful time here, this is the kind of airbnb that you don't want to leave! The view is amazing, we were treated to spectacular sunsets...and the location in general is perfect. We cycled to Nazaré in 20 minutes. José was responsive and friendly and gave good instructions . We hope to come back soon!

We hosted an intimate wedding at the Quinta and everyone loved it. It has nice views morning and night. The quinta is big to have some family stay over with us. Antonio is very responsive whenever we need help aswell. A little bit hard to find on google maps or uber/bolt, but you just need to be clear on instructions for guests coming. Sintra town is very closeby too, lots of parking space if you have car 😊

Elsa is a great Host, just like her incredible villa. From the booking, through the arrival to our departure, we were accompanied with kindness and benevolence throughout this experience. The house is ideal for hosting a large family, or groups. We had an extraordinary stay, in complete privacy, in this spacious and comfortable place. Obsessed with the serenity of my stay at the cottage. Zero issues: host so responsive to my questions. Walking to the beach was such a fun adventure! I much preferred it to driving! I felt safe and location was easy to find with coordinates!

We thoroughly enjoyed our family holiday at this lovely quirky characterful villa. The welcome was fantastic with a table laid out with delicious foods by Adelia. The outside terraces around the pool are beautiful with stunning views and sunsets. We also made good use of the barbecue. We were there with 6 adults and 2 babies. There is literally nothing missing in the house, everything is catered for, even 2 highchairs! When we had an issue with the lack of hot water, our hosts responded promptly and things were resolved. We can highly recommend this lovely house. The local restaurant is also worth a visit where Susanna will cook up a storm.

Although we have previously visited Portugal , this was our first time in Cascais. Teresa & Pedro made our decision easy to chose their homely apartment. Their communication were fast, friendly and extremely informative. The apartment is bright and airy with the bonus of a swimming pool. It was never busy and a great spot to chill out and relax on very hot days. The neighborhood is quiet for a good nights sleep after a busy sightseeing day. The supermarket Pingo Doce is roughly a 10 minute walk. There is also a small local shopping mall less than a 10 minute walk away. You can walk into Cascais centre in around 20 minutes. Cascais has a lot to offer. It has museums, lovely beaches, great restaurants and lovely parks. The marina area is also well worth a visit. We visited Lisbon on public transport which is fairly straightforward. We also visited Sintra which is a must but even in early June extremely busy. Filipa's Alfama Airbnb was truly impeccable. We all agreed that this Airbnb made our vacation. This was our first time in Portugal, and we would come back just for this Airbnb. It was clean, picturesque, centrally located, and made for a relaxing vacation. Our favorite aspects were the location, natural light, and swimming pool. Filipa was responsive, helpful, and kind. I recommend staying here to anyone. We loved staying in the heart of Alfama – the neighborhood was walkable and full of restaurants and sightseeing. Our only feedback was that it was a little difficult to locate on Google Maps upon arrival, but once we remembered the location, it was easier. So absolutely worth it.
