House vacation rentals in Youghiogheny River Lake

We had a wonderful time in this great house! The house was big with everything you could ask for. Our daughter was getting married at Rock Hill farm which is only 3.5 miles away and the house provided us a quiet, peaceful place to come home to after a busy day and evening. There were sheep grazing beside the house! We didn’t get a chance to tryout the spa and pool, but maybe next time. We highly recommend!!!

We came this weekend for a snow tubing trip to River Riders. There were 5 adults, 5 kids and 2 dogs and there was plenty of room for us all! The fenced in backyard was perfect and everyone enjoyed the hot tub, even in the freezing temps. The old house is super cute and has some unique qualities. It was clean, plenty of towels and everything needed in the kitchen to cook breakfast, lunches and dinners! No issues were encountered at all and we will be back in the Spring for river tubing! Highly recommended.

We had an incredibly relaxing, peaceful, quiet getaway. The house is more than enough space for 2 people, well stocked kitchen, amazing scenery. Beautiful Mountain View’s, screened in porch, super serene.

This place is perfect for families! We had a great spring break here with another family. Our kids, who range from 4.5 to 8.5, loved all the amenities, including those not in the listing. Between the dozens of kids books, coloring supplies, and games, I barely touched my usual bag of tricks. Joe and team thoughtfully provided a snack basket with enough variety for any age. The other thing that made this so well-suited to families is the lack of clutter and breakables--the only thing I proactively moved out of the kids' room was the TV remote! The kids loved the pool (loaded with pool toys, life jackets in a variety of sizes, and a bathroom in the same space to provide maximum splash time!) and the outdoor wonderland (pickleball court, basketball, (plastic) axe throwing, tree swing, the bikes, and the wildlife! Grownups loved the comfortable beds, the poker table, the well-stocked showers, and the most responsive AirBnB host we've ever had. We look forward to returning!

The place was clean and comfortable and we felt right at home. The pool was still cold but the kids loved that it was open already and my wife and I appreciated the hot tub after a long day of traveling. The sound of the highway is noticeable, but after a day you get used to it. The yard was private and sat back away from the road which was nice for the kids to play in. If we find ourselves in Virginia we would stay here again.

We found a "six" star gem walking in the door at Woodhaven. The photos, though true to life, could not adequately convey the warmth and coziness of the living quarters, cleanliness of the rooms, well appointed furnishings in the kitchen, high end bedroom linens and abundance of puzzles/games to keep one entertained and engaged. Wendy's attention to detail, hospitality AND ability to orchestrate a "blizzard" was beyond our expectations and imagination. When we connected in October as owner/renter soon changed to feeling like friend/family in February. We thank you for being instrumental in adding to our treasure trove of memories.

Place was lovely and exactly as listed. Spacious , great views, clean and lots of DVDs and board games. Highly recommend staying here!

JoAnna's place was even better than we expected. The pics on Airbnb and VRBO don't do this home justice. We were in State College for a wrestling tournament with another family. We travel a lot for wrestling and this is the most accurately advertised, cleanest, and most welcoming place we've ever stayed--and my husband always says I'm too picky, so that's saying a lot! We aren't even really PSU fans, but now we want to go to an event just to stay in the house again. Thank you for welcoming us to your home. We'll definitely be back!

Comfortable space for a weekend visit. Nice kitchen set up so meals can be cooked at 'home' and not have to go out to eat all the time. There was a small issue that the host took care of right away with an appropriate response and action. This is the place we always try to get when we are visiting the area.

The house was adorable. So clean. It had everything we needed for our one night stay. There were six of us, old friends, and we reserved an igloo next door. We played board games, drank great beer at the brewery, and then had a great breakfast at the brewery before we left. It was a great trip. Highly recommend.

Our kids had such a wonderful time! Between the game room, the hot tub, the fire pit and the huge field, they always had something to do. Our favorite part was the sunrise view from the bedrooms. Stunning!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin! It looks exactly like the photos,cozy, peaceful, and spacious, with plenty of room to relax and feel secure. I was there with my kids, and we all had an amazing time. The trails around the cabin, the fire pit and the hot tub were definitely a highlight! Aleksandar was a fantastic host, he provided clear instructions and was very responsive whenever we had questions. We’re already planning to come back in the fall!

We had a very nice time at the house! It's super convenient to the Harper's Ferry National Park, just up the road. The house was clean, and we appreciated the extra towels, the new grill and the wide variety of kitchen utensils. The hot tub was clean and very nice as well. There is road noise from the nearby highway, and the fire pit space was not as idyllic as we had imagined. But, it was a nice place to return to after exploring, and the location did have a convenience benefit- Walmart and other shops being just a few miles away.

We had a great stay. The house was very comfortable and clean. The kitchen was great. We really appreciated the Christmas decorations because we were there to celebrate Christmas as a family.

Beautiful, comfortable ranch home on quiet street surprisingly close to restaurants and other fun things in State College, PA! Great kitchen made it easy to fix meals and clean up! Comfortable bed and great closets! Thank you!

Olivia was very helpful and accommodating while my husband has been in the area for work. Easy to communicate with and helpful on surrounding amenities.

The place is very nice and is located right in the middle of town. But we spoke with Oxana for a few minutes - that was really what takes this listing above and beyond. She was so nice and gave us tons of local recommendations on things to see. Definitely stay here, it's better than anything else you will find nearby.

We loved Claudine’s home. We live in an old home ourselves and know that old homes are such a labor of love and it’s obvious Claudine takes great pride in her home. Claudine was an excellent host, she also provided us with updates as a big storm was coming in. The home was very close to the historical district, and Shepherd University. There was a lot of space for our family to spread out in. We will definitely be back. Thank you Claudine!

We had a quiet, comfortable stay. The bed was comfy, the central air functional, and there was hardly any street noise. The Wifi was strong as well. This location is close to grocery stores and a few restaurants, and a short drive from Penn State.

The house was great for family members to gather and relax during what was a very emotional time. Hilary left fresh eggs for us, and they were delicious!

Rustic cabin feel out in the woods. Great remote get away. The cats outside are friendly and sweet.
