Each tipi has as two burner stove, 3 gallons of water, a pot, coffee fixing things, a propane lantern and a solar lantern. There is no electricity on the property and an outdoor solar shower available if desired. The barn, where the loft is, was moved from Cody where it was the old feed store. Cozy space. Sit by the pond and relax or walk around the landscaped property visiting with the animals. We are in a quiet neighborhood, but close to town to enjoy the restaurants and little shops that line main street. Only 20 minutes to the Bighorn Mountains, enjoy beautiful scenery, hiking or picnicing or a guided trail ride. Yellowtail Reservoir offers fishing and hunting opportunities only minutes away.

Dexter Peak cabin, elegantly rustic near YNP/Chico

Dexter Peak Cabin is located near the base of the mountains on a 25 acre parcel shared with our home but still private. Close to Livingston, Chico Hot Springs, Yellowstone River, waterfalls, hiking and fishing, and 35 minutes to Yellowstone Park. Cabin is located about 200' from owner's home but the outdoor areas are oriented away from the home and toward the mountains. Little to no traffic as we are a couple with no kids. Dexter Peak Road is a great road for walking!

This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. This house was originally built in 1900, then moved to Billings from Broadview in the 1940s. I bought the house in 2004, when my daughter was small, and have lived here ever since. It is a work in progress. Between 2010-13, I had the basement remodeled. I love the yard, and in the summer, I spend a good part of my day outside working in it.
