We had a lovely few days at Anneli's house. It is located in a quiet area overlooking a lake. The house was clean upon our arrival and the check-in was straightforward. Outside there are several seating options and a barbecue. Only the entrance area is modernly designed downstairs, the kitchen and living room are a little older but very cozy. We felt immediately comfortable and would happily come back.

On the large terrace you can sit comfortably overlooking the countryside. The city center of Vimmerby is a quick drive away, and you can also walk to the city center. Anneli communicated well and quickly. The flexible check-in and check-out is also practical. The house offers a good starting point for exploring in and around Vimmerby.

My family and I had a great stay in Pierre's house. We used it as base for a visit to Astrid Lindgren Park. The location is really beautiful and peaceful and the children played outside without screens and phones the whole day (which usually never happens). The place is well equipped for children with toys, swings and a trampolin. As most Swedish country houses, the house is not luxury, but we also didn't expect that and who cares when it is couzy and the surroundings are as great like this.

Very nice and helpful host, gives that little something extra. Cozy house and nice rural surroundings. Quiet and peaceful, perfect for the kids.

The house is very nice and cozy with large garden. It is a bit remote but it is very quiet and idyllic. Shopping is not far away in the nearest larger town. Joakim always responded quickly. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Our vacation at Villa Kunterbunt was just wonderful! The kids especially loved the trampoline, the tree house and the climbing wall! We felt very comfortable there. The house offers plenty of space and the garden is full of treasures and fantastically beautiful. The house is very comfortably furnished with a lot of charm. Malin and Henrik are absolutely warm hosts!!!!

This house was amazing. It was very clean, warm and comfortable. Tomas (Eric‘s father) give us many informations about the surroundings. We stay with 9 people (5 kids) and the house was absolutely sufficient. Thanks very much!

Pure nature and nice weather, this accommodation is located in the forest, for anyone who wants to switch off completely. Everything was exactly the same as the previous year and in this description , we were there again because of the great experience. This time we were even able to borrow Ellen's bikes and explore the surrounding area. Everything was exactly the same as last year Pool, sauna, fireplaces worked perfectly.

Very nice stay with two families in the comfortable and cozily furnished house of Sandra and Peter. There is more than enough space for 10 people. Our children also had a great time and there were plenty of opportunities for them to enjoy themselves in and around the house. The lake with beach is a few meters away. In addition, the nearby cute village of Gränna and the historic island of Visingsö were nice to visit and you can enjoy hiking in the wooded area. In short, very nice holiday and we thank Sandra and Peter for the hospitality!

We had a really nice family vacation, the two kids (both seven years old) stayed in the little cottage and loved playing in the huge garden around the house. We took care of the chickens and the cat, who is always looking for the way into the house from the neighboring grandmother and otherwise we had exactly the peace and nature that we wanted.

A great, enchanted property on the crystal clear lake, for grooming, discovering, bathing, playing, jogging, blueberries, raspberries or cranberries collecting and baking thanks to good kitchen furnishings, for cooking and grilling (or thanks to good internet also for working or informing what is going on in the world;). For shopping you need a car or paddle by kayak to Malexander (attention opening hours of the rather small "camping" kiosk). The house (except maybe the bathroom) is spacious, you have the possibility to install mosquito screens for ventilated nights. Curtains are everywhere; the beds are cuddly, but not for those that can't with cools:). Thanks, Pia, for the great stay and also for the flexibility with the Boat - this made it possible for us to have great fishing experiences!

Stefan is a great host. We were in the house over Christmas and New Year's to enjoy the peace with our dogs, without much noise on New Year's Eve. Stefan always gave us firewood for the fireplace and the existing heating is sufficient for the house. Stefan was always available. You have to be aware that you are really in the middle of nowhere and there is not much to experience around winter, except walking and possibly visiting an elk park. The nearest shops are a few minutes away by car, but with a little planning you can also conjure up something in the well-equipped kitchen. A few tools such as wooden spoons or sharp knives would be an advantage. Otherwise, everything you need is there. Thanks for the wonderful time at your place!

The house is the ideal starting point, especially for children and lovers of the classic Småland idyll. The furnishings are also original as 100 years ago, but offers current standards. Accessible with ramp at the entrance, if registered in advance. The living room is unfortunately on the upper floor, only accessible via a steep staircase, but since there is a large kitchen and Wi-Fi we did not miss much. The lake is about 2 km away. Hilly, so for fit cyclists or e-bikes. Wheelchair users should also be electrified. Ideally suited for dogs. Impressive nature in the immediate vicinity, including a nearby national park. Astrid Lindgren Park, Katthult-Hof, Elk Safari Park and much more are easily accessible, but away from any mass tourism. Plenty of relaxing tranquility and complete freedom for children, dogs… And not unimportant: very friendly landlords who are happy to accommodate special requests. Katarina and Lars are super nice and helpful when we needed help. The house is really beautiful and idyllic and the outdoor terrace is great to stay on. The area around the house is clean nature and super lovely. We enjoyed walking to the lake where we had the opportunity to use a rowboat.

We had a very nice time in the house. The house corresponds to the photos and is surrounded by nature. Ideally located to visit the sights around Vimmerby. Thank you for everything!

Pia is a very nice, open, helpful person. The plot is super nice and the lake has very clear water. We are already thinking about booking our next holiday there.

if you are searching for a beautiful place near a Swedish lake, stop making lists and book this one if available. Definitely five star experience!

As a family of five with a dog, we spent six days in this beautiful, exceptional accommodation and enjoyed it very much. A bouquet of fresh flowers was on the table, nature is wonderful, the lake a pleasure, the various huts very simple but cozy. It's also great that you can grab a rowing boat at any time. It was a lot of fun. Katarina and Lars were very nice, quickly accessible, and extremely helpful and committed.
