Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Yass Valley Council

Brought the family of 5 down for a couple of days. Christo's place is centrally located to everything Canberra has to offer. No major attraction was further than 20 minutes away. There was plenty of space, inside and out, for our family to stretch out. The yard outside is well kept and the house is furnished for comfort and a traditional style I personally enjoy. The kitchen is fully stocked and everythings located intuitively. Competitive price for school holidays including ANZAC day. Top marks, highly recommend.

Great location for getting around Canberra. Very central, while still being quiet and private. Really good value for money.

This is my 3rd visit to Cockatoo House. We keep coming back as it has all that we need to look after the show dogs, and attend the Royal Show. Great bathroom, all kitchen amenities Off street parking for several cars. Plenty of space outdoor, undercover. Several living areas inside too.

Multi Generational family stayed at Aprik's property and it was great. We needed to check in earlier and April was very accommodating and helpful which was most appreciated by my elderly mother.

Leo was extremely helpful, he let us know we left a shirt behind and arranged for us to come back to get it after check out. The place was clean and comfortable. We would absolutely stay again!

Jocelyn was extremely responsive and always ready to help me if I ever needed it. Made the entire stay easy and accommodating.

My stay at Helen's place in Franklin was simply wonderful. The accommodation was cozy, clean, and well-equipped, providing everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The ambiance was inviting, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. One of the highlights was Helen's exceptional hospitality. She was a fantastic host, attentive to every detail and always available to assist with any questions or requests. Her warmth and generosity added a special touch to my experience. The location of the place was also fantastic. It was conveniently situated near shops and amenities in Franklin, making it easy to access everything I needed. Additionally, the peaceful surroundings added to the overall charm of the stay.

Jocelyn is a great host has a lovely house a nice quiet suburb with walking and bike paths surrounding the street a 5 minute drive to Ampol and a 7 minute drive to Westfields in Belconnen Jocelyn was a great communicator making sure everything was okay.

This is a reliable and quiet place which I especially recommend for a family stay with kids. The host was so friendly and helpful that we could have a very smooth settle down and a comfortable life here in Canberra. Y

Awesome place to stay during the marathon. Walking distance to the start line, shops and food. Parking was secure and easy. Across the street from kid friendly park. Clean modern stay with all we needed for a comfortable stay. Many thanks again

Aaron’s place was in a great location with restaurants a couple of minutes away. The breakfast at the restaurant on the ground floor was excellent. Aaron’s place was clean with comfy beds and everything you would need to self cater. The pool was a lovely temperature and towels were provided. Aaron provided excellent communication and instructions

We had a great stay, great location making many of Canberras highlights easy to get to. Great flexibility from Ricky too letting us keep our bicycles secure, having our bikes made it super easy getting around.

Olivia's place was very quiet and peaceful. Checking in was very easy as Olivia provided clear instructions. The bed was very comfy and the bathroom was modern and very clean. The kitchen area was well stocked with crockery, and tea and coffee bags were provided, which was a nice touch. It was an easy five minute walk to the Ainslie shops, which included a supermarket. Great place to stay!

For the business traveler or anyone seeking a comfortable stay, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Hugh’s apartment. The space is well-designed, functional, and equipped with quality cooking utensils, and practical linen, making it easy to settle in. The building offers excellent facilities—I made full use of the steam room, sauna, spa, and pool, which were perfect for unwinding after a long day. The gym is also available for those looking to stay active. The location is fantastic, with a short walk to a major shopping complex and only 4-5 minutes to the lake, making it great for both convenience and leisure. What sets this stay apart are the thoughtful extras. The supplied laundry facilities were a welcome convenience, and small appliances like the toaster and coffee maker added a homely touch that isn’t always found in Airbnbs. Harry's apartment was really clean and light and bright. It was well equipped with lots of space. Our car was safe in the parking area and we were never more than half an hour away from anything we wanted to visit Laurel and Steve

The place is great, and Sadeepa was an excellent host. The apartment had everything I needed for a long stay, and there’s heaps available within a short walk.

From the minute I booked, I was beyond impressed and that carried through to our entire experience. The location, the apartment, the little personal touches that Aaron adds is beyond compare, the time went way too fast. Thank you Aaron, we can’t wait to go back

This lovely Reid apartment was perfect for us. Conveniently located 2 mins away from Canberra’s civic district, and we felt like at home, and even our dog was comfortable in staying there. The apartment was well appointed with amenities and nicely decorated. We loved the art work. Overall Madison’s place suited our needs and we will recommend to our friends wanting to visit Canberra.
