Vacation rentals in Yass River

We loved this place! We were looking for something more halfway between Sydney and Melbourne but fell for this place and just had to book. We’re glad we did. The bed was super comfy and the standard was well above most pet friendly place. We only stayed the night and didn’t really use the kitchen. Our only concern was that our dog is petrified of the wind turbines and even though they were far away in the distance, it made her freak out and not want to be outside. Rachel said she hadn’t had other dogs react like that (including her own), so think it could be just our dog being a bit weird. 🫣 We arrived after midnight and Dean was still up to ensure we found the place ok. Jo is a wonderful host! Very friendly and welcoming from the get go, we were very impressed by the lux feel and the overall aesthetic of her home. Could not fault the cleanliness standards she keeps or the amenities available to make your stay a comfortable and easy experience (washer/dryer/dishwasher etc) Couldn’t ask for a better view or location either right on the water and in a quiet but central location.

Excellent place to stay at. The place was exactly what we needed except when we arrived, only 2 of the listed 3 bathrooms were available. This was outside Bilal’s control as one of the bathrooms had issues around Christmas time making it hard to get trades to come in a fix in time. There were some small bugs around the house but this is all part of nature when you’re in the country so no big deal at all! The house was beautiful and exactly as described. It was well equipped for us to enjoy some family meals in.

Carolyn and Malcolm’s place is cosy and lovely. From the views to the well equiped homely house we had an amazing few days there. The house was well set up and we felt comfortable from the moment we stepped through the door. Easy check-in. Was more than we expected, surrounded by wildlife. Had a great break being surrounded by the mountains, even managed to catch a fish. The kids didn’t miss having wifi, and said they would come back in heartbeat. Thanks for sharing your space with us.

Fantastic stay at Jack’s place. Great location, very comfortable apartment and plenty of room for two adults and three teenagers. Perfect for a quick trip to Canberra to check out the uni!

Awesome house which makes us feel home very close to shops yet feels very residential. Clean and nice house. Will recommend this to all tourists who want to anchor at Batesmans bay. Will recommend the tourists to give it clean to the owner so many enjoys the place as we did. Best Deal!

Stayed here for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Beautiful, peaceful and the river was great to sit by with a rod and a few drinks

Yass Country Retreat lived up to our expectations and was perfect for us as a base to explore the region. The property was clean, well furnished and stocked with many extras not always provided in similar properties. The hosts were very proactive and responsive in their communication making sure that we were comfortable and ready to accommodate any requests we may have had. I would highly recommend this property for a quiet but central place to stay in the Yass region.
