The location was perfect!!! We went on numerous outings and everything was only minutes away!!! The home is in a forested area do we saw wild birds at the feeder every day. Thanks to Kyoto for providing the birdseed. There were slippers provided and all the toiletries. The kitchen was well stocked with breakfast foods and supplies making it easy to cook meals.

Lovely staff, great location and great price! Would highly recommend to everyone!

This is our second time staying at Koko guest house. Kyoko was an excellent host, very informative, thoughtful and friendly. The whole house was spotless, toilet was so clean it just felt like home. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Rebecca’s place. The surrounding nature was breathtaking—perfect for anyone looking to escape into peace and tranquility. Rebecca was incredibly friendly and warm, making us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. She even went above and beyond by preparing a delicious full continental breakfast for the next morning, which was such a lovely touch. The spa bath, complete with candles, was a highlight—pure relaxation and romance! This place is an ideal choice for a couple’s getaway. We’d love to come back! Our stay at The Maples was amazing! The garden was stunning, the property was immaculate and very spacious, and Gillian and Bruce were so thoughtful, generous and easy to communicate with! Absolutely magical. Nestled amongst the trees, this little cottage felt like a hidden sanctuary. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted — the peaceful setting, the outdoor spa under the stars, and the friendly goats (yes, goats!) made it unforgettable. The chiminea added the perfect touch for cozy nights by the fire, and everything was set up with such care and intention. The host was incredible — warm, welcoming, and so respectful of our privacy. You can feel the love that’s been put into this place. Truly a soul-refreshing escape. We didn’t want to leave.

Lovely, quiet location with amazing views. Enjoyed visits from kookaburras and rosellas. Lots of great eateries nearby and close access to Puffing Billy.

We had a lovely stay here. Beautiful backyard area to sit in and have coffee. Many breakfast items provided. A great location - feels like a little oasis in the rainforest.

Absolutely stunning location surrounded by bush and birds, very close to the local shops and eateries. Perfect accommodation for the two of us with everything we needed. Mary and Anders are amazing hosts who went out of their way to entertain us. We didn't have a car, so Mary very kindly offered to take us on a tiki tour around the vineyards - heaps of fun! We were also driven to the wedding we attended in Anders epic old car. Definitely recommend this place and hope to stay again some day :)

Great getaway for a few days. Very peaceful and quiet, especially being able to hear little raindrops at night. Lovely vibe and decorations and very comfortable. Roads are a bit steep in this area but was manageable. Good space for 2 people.

The studio at Luckmika’s was a beautiful little place perfect for my sister who was waiting for renovations to be completed at her place. Luckmika is great with communication, the studio is obviously a well cared for, spotlessly clean and easily accessible place. Would highly recommend.

This sweet little cottage was so special! I’ve already recommended it to friends and family. It has tiny house vibes with a cute outdoor fire pit and marshmallows to go with it (we’ll be using these on our next visit). The perfect place to relax after a wedding in the Dandenong ranges. Sassafras is truly one of my favourite escapes. Perfect location, thoughtful hosts and the cutest place to stay! 10/10

I had a wonderful time staying at The Retreat. Diane was a fantastic host, very friendly and responsive. The Retreat is a perfect home away from home - the facilities are modern and comfortable, and the surroundings are very peaceful. In the mornings you can watch the cockatoos at the bird feeder, which is very lovely. I will definitely come and stay again!
