Vacation rentals in Yakushima Island

Fantastic no accommodation with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds and AC. Would highly recommend, the area was great, with lots of nearby hikes, beaches and places to eat!

A nice simple house in nature, very private and secluded. We enjoyed going to the beach and sitting on the deck looking out at the sea and all the green of Yakushima. The host was super helpful and generous especially when our ferry was cancelled and we had to wait a few days to get to the island. Thank you!

Mike's house is consistently built and decorated in Japanese style, wonderfully quiet location, sea view, terrace, plenty of space and equipped with everything you need to feel comfortable, cook, relax. We stayed there for 4 nights and felt super comfortable. However, it is advisable to have a rental car to be flexible on the island; Mike also supported us there with the rental, everything worked out great. Were our most relaxing days in Japan here!

Kayoko’s home was a respite after lots of city based traveling throughout Japan. Tucked away on a tea plantation and thoughtfully designed, this home is a delight.

Nakajima's place was perfect for our little family visiting Yakushima. The house was clean, quiet, and spacious. There also were games available for my kids to play, and everything was so comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here.

The homestay is really great, we arrived and found that although there are many homestays around, there are not many homestays with such a nice yard.We walked to the B&B at Miyanoura port and didn't feel far away either.If you want to go to Baigu Yunshui Gorge like me, staying in a B&B is also a very good choice, there is a bus stop directly within a short walk, and the host also provides the bus schedule and location, which is very convenient.A rope shirt was played the next day with the help of a guide, and it was also a very satisfying itinerary for two nights for three days.A lot of things were not the host's obligations and the patience helped us figure it out, which was really appreciated.Because our English and Japanese are not good, we got a lot of help from the host who can speak Chinese as well as the tour guide couple, and the itinerary was very smooth.

Stayed for 4 nights while on Yakushima. The cabin was cosy, very clean and comfortable and was a great place to unwind and recharge after long days hiking. Location is pretty good but definitely pays to have a car while staying on the island.

Very clean and fully equipped We had a pleasant time with a polite response. I've used a variety of rental houses about 10 times so far, but It was unusual to have a decent knife. If you'll be cooking, please check the seasonings available beforehand I think it would be better to go shopping. In fact, the seasonings were so good that they exceeded my expectations in a good way. The only problem is the internet connection. Originally, the area had weak waves There is a Wi-Fi router that picks up mobile phone waves, so In a situation where it is physically impossible I want to contact the owner I struggled because the internet didn't work. The only solution is to provide a leased line It's best to bring in the optical line. I'm looking forward to the future. Overall, it's a great place to stay and I'd recommend it to people, It was a wonderful rental villa. Thank you very much.

Cameron was a great host, attentive and responsive to our changing circumstances. His guest house is a lovely construction, beautifully finished, well furnished. We would hope to go back if we are able to return to Yakushima.
