You can only enjoy this kind of relaxing experience in the forest, listening to the babbling of the river, here. During the day, be soothed by the greenery, and at night, gently unwind your mind and body under the starry sky. It's right next to the river, so you can swim, and you can go to the river from the open-air bath.There is also a deck, so please use it for breakfast and coffee time. On the opposite side of the river, diagonally across, is a neighbor's yard, so it is not a completely private space.We recommend bringing a swimsuit. The sauna stove is a Japanese-made Broos sauna.You can enjoy a high-temperature sauna. Hirauchi Hot Spot 2 bedroom Japanese style house

Hirauchi Hot Spot is a traditional Japanese style house located in the south of the island. It is easy to find on the main road next to a bus stop. It has great sea and mountain views and is surrounded by nature. Two famous open air onsens - Hirauchi and Yudomari are just a few minutes walk away. We have another beautiful self contained house nearby which caters for up to 6 people. Have a look “South Coast House “ It is a Japanese house near the popular sightseeing spot "Hirauchi Kaichu Onsen" in the southern part of Yakushima.It is within walking distance with Yudomari Onsen.We recommend renting a car because it is far from the popular mountain climbing course.

South Coast House is a traditional Japanese style home located on the very south coast of the island. It is very private, surrounded by nature with great sea and mountain views. Two natural outdoor hot spring Onsens - Harauchi and Yudomari are just a few minutes drive away. There is also some hiking, swimming and snorkelling spots close by. Fisherman's living experience inn: Fuku no Ki

Yakushima is famous for mountains, but the sea, fish are also attractive. This inn is a bit inconvenient, but we treat you like family. And you can eat delicious fresh fish. The building is a converted fisherman's barn. We will cook fish together, heat Goemon bath with firewood, and provide you with a stay as if you were living with us. One cooking experience is included during your stay. On other days, you will stay without meals. Optional fishing boat tour (extra charge) is also available.

Ocean view guest house Yakushima - Cottage

This location is very quiet & secret place for vacation home. There is a small Tatami room like a tea celemony room that you can use as yoga, meditation etc. for your private time. However, no kitchen facility. We provide an electric pot,cups,small dishies, refrigerater, microwave and oven grills toaster, so you can bring some food etc. There is sea and forest view from the guest cottage. Cottage is made in Japanese style with aromatic local cedar wood , open beams, and Shoji screens.
