秀月 was responsive and friendly from the start, we had no problem checking in although we arrived quite late. We stayed two months in this apartment and felt we had plenty of space and privacy. The block is located about 10 minutes walk from the bus stop, a bus ride to 新店 MRT only takes about 10 minutes. It's situated high up in the mountain in a beautiful rural location with birdsong for company no traffic noice at all. It has a view of Taipei in the distance and only mountains all around. The room was large with a balcony where we could hang our washing and plenty of wardrobe space for two people. All the neighbours in the block were friendly and spoke good English. Including the resident black cat. The low resolution, cropped photos do not do justice to this well maintained, modern, spacious apartment and guest room with weatherproofed enclosed balcony with fabulous views.

The room I had has a private bathroom which it is extremely important to me, wifi, TV, hot water kettle, eating utensils, cup, and a small refrigerator, hair dryer, shared clothes washer, and soap, fan, AC (unexpectedly not working correctly.) I am pressed with the cost and and I think the cost of electricity based on usage is great approach. the checking out instructions was very clean step by step. I will add this place to my future booking.

Great staff. We arrived at 7pm plus, and need leave the place early around 8am next day, the Onsen operate hour is 9am to 8pm but the staff really do their best to extend the hour to allow my teammates to use it. Room at 2nd level, their staff helped to carry all luggages up and down. Breakfast also nice. Short walking distance to old street. Recommended.

Monthly/CleanCozyRoom/MRT1min/GreatView/Ubike

I had a really great stay here. One of the hosts met me on arrival (& communicated with me en route), so everything was easy. And the location is really, really close to the MRT station -- which makes exploring the rest of the city very easy to do. The room is a corner room, and the 2 windows allow for some nice cross-ventilation on cool days. I found it to be very quiet. I was sharing the apartment with 2 people (sometimes there is a 3rd, I believe), but they were both working a lot, so I was rarely running into them. I have been to Taipei before, but I had not ventured down to Xindian. The area is great. Very walkable. Hiking trails. Lots of great food options. Several supermarkets close by (several PX Marts, and I would usually take a shortcut through the local park to get to my favorite, which is surrounded by a street of restaurants). I was here for the M7.4 earthquake, and we experienced a good rumble, but the buildings in this area are relatively newer. All seemed very safe.
