Villa vacation rentals in Xagħra

The villa was everything we hoped for with unbelievable views and great facilities in the villa which were so much fun especially for our large group. The bedrooms were so clean and spacious and the villa had more than enough room for everyone. The villa is in a lovely location only a short taxi ride from Valletta and Marsaskala which is a lovely town. Chris was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed and gave great instructions. Look forward to coming back!!

Fabulous hosts, great communication. Lovely home. Great WiFi. Great quiet AC in all bedrooms. Wonderful character full property. Extremely noisy cicadas from sunrise to sunset nonstop! Spoilt the sunbathing possibilities for us unfortunately as they are in all the bushes and trees by the pool and constantly noisy between 70-90db until the sun goes down. I don’t like to mention it because they are such lovely hosts and such a beautiful property but it was too much for us!

We had a wonderful time here. The area is peaceful and the kids enjoyed the pool. David was helpful and kind with anything we needed.

Kelly was at the villa to meet us, in fact she was there early as we were slightly delayed at the airport. She checked in on us a couple of times during our stay to make sure everything was OK. The villa is very modern and was exceptionally clean. The swimming pool is fantastic and we made good use of it. The villa is ideal for a relaxing stay. We ate at great local restaurants which are only a short Bolt ride away. We also visited Valetta, Mdina and other local attractions using the guidebook provided to us by Kelly. Kelly is a fantastic host and I thoroughly recommend the accomodation.

The farmhouse is fantastic. It has everything to enjoy a relaxing vacation. Close to the Citadel, but nicely hidden from the beaten track, it has all advantages of central location combined with the tranquility of the countryside. Museums are within walking distance, and a well-stocked grocery store is almost next door. The walled garden offers complete privacy with picturesque views of terraced hills. Fabulous walks along the coastal line are just a 10-15 minutes drive away. The weather in mid-October is perfect for enjoying being outside, so we took full advantage of the pool and dining on the patio or reading and enjoying a glass of wine in the comfortable chairs surrounded by olive trees. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, but we took advantage of Wolt deliveries instead. Every bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom. The farmhouse is impeccably clean and well maintained. Communication with the owner and the caretaker was a breeze. All questions were answered within minutes. We are looking forward to returning there many more times. I would highly recommend the farmhouse to anyone looking for an enjoyable place to stay on Gozo.

We absolutely loved our stay in Zebbug. The pretty town is central in Malta and we found getting anywhere by car really easy. We arrived during the feast of St. Joseph and the celebrations were immense, accompanied by fireworks which resembled explosions similar to an A-bomb! We were a party of 5 adults and 2 children, which the villa held comfortably. Its layout and space gave privacy while also providing communal areas in the courtyard and dining area. We loved the pool, enjoyed the use of the BBQ and needed the air con! However, the room with two single beds had no air-con so we had to abandon the idea of the kids sleeping in that room with 38c heat. This meant they had to sleep in the lounge for the week. The only other niggle was some kitchen equipment could do with a refresh. The villa is a naturally dusty place, but there was no broom or usable dust pan and brush, and the cooking utensils are at the end of their useful life.

Rachel and her father, Joseph, were excellent hosts who responded quickly and clarified everything we needed. The property is private with walled gardens and no neighbours looking in, so you feel comfortable and secluded although everything you need is only a few minutes, by car, away. There is plenty of space, we are a family of five, and it was spotless upon arrival. Thoroughly recommend this rental to anyone looking for their own space and some peace and quiet. Additionally we found Gozo, despite the ferry rides back and forth, to be the more relaxed of the two main islands and would recommend also for those looking for life a little slower than what Malta has to offer. We loved this place from the moment we walked in! Clean and modern but totally in keeping with the traditional local style. It’s huge! Bigger and better than expected. The only slight challenge was cooking in the kitchen. It’s very well equipped but lacks enough work surface, but you just need to use the dining table as well. Cooking for a large group is always a challenge, but we managed. Plenty of room in the two fridges and enough equipment for our group. Really enjoyed the two pools. Nice to use the warm indoor one in the evening. Great view from the rooftop. Great house and we fell in love with Gozo!

Beautiful villa in peaceful and stunning location. Very comfortable with lots of space for our extended family to relax and enjoy together without feeling on top of each other . We hired a car but BOLT super easy to use too . We enjoyed beautiful weather throughout our stay. Well equipped villa , and shopping easy at Welbees supermarket ... restaurants we recommend are The Square and one 80 ... and don't forget pastizzis from Champs ! We enjoyed trips out to the beach at Mellieha Bay, a boat trip around Comino and visiting Valletta and the Waterfront as well as Mdina and Rabat ... we hope to return another time soon .

A number of extended family members got together at the villa to celebrate our Maltese heritage and my dad's life. We really enjoyed our stay! The villa is very large and accommodated our crowd easily. We all loved that each of our bedrooms had a private bath. We had unreasonably warm weather, so the pool was especially inviting. Take note, the AC runs on 1 and 2 euro coins. You won't want to be without AC especially in the summer heat. Chris was so responsive to our needs responding within minutes. Very accommodating and friendly. I definitely recommend the villa and our host!! thank you Chris!!

The house is absolutely lovely. It’s located on one of the main squares in Mdina. The square is bustling with activity during the day, and then is peaceful at night and in the morning. It’s magical to be able to wander Mdina during the off hours from most of the tourists. The house worked really well for our three generation family group. Plenty of group spaces for eating together and enjoying each other’s company, and also plenty of spaces for people to have their own time as well. What a treat to stay in the historic palazzo for 10 days. Thank you so much! We hope to return. Andrea and Joanna were fantastic hosts and always responsive.

We had a wonderful stay as a family of 3 generations in Margit's beautiful home. The house itself was immaculately clean, spacious and well appointed. Lots of fun had by all, especially with the pool table, bar and dining space, not to mention the little swimming pool. And lots of lovely quiet spaces to enjoy too - especially coffee in the morning on one of the terraces. The house was also very conveniently located - nowhere ever seemed to be more than a 15 minute drive away (ok Gozo a little further but not much!) and so it was an excellent base to explore from and we really covered a lot of ground in teh short time we stayed as a result. As well as of course being a wonderful home to come back to after a day of sight seeing. Communication with Margit was absolutely first class - really super responsive and helpful - thanks SO very much, and best wishes from us all.

Beautiful place to stay! we are so grateful with hot indoor pool because it was windy & cold days when we stayed here so unable to enjoy the outdoor pool with the breahtaking view of surrounding Gozo. kids love the Cinema! highly recommended it

Väldigt bra boende, exakt som beskrivningen. Stort hus eller som vara barn kallade "mansion" rent, stort kök, många toaletter, jättefin uteplats med lagom stor pool och grillplats. Parkering är relativt lätt att hitta i närheten av boendet. perfekt för 2 familjer. Andrea har varit väldigt hjälpful, svarade alltid snabbt och gav tydliga instruktioner. Rekomenderar detta boende och skulle återkomma hit igen utan problem.

James' place is tastefully renovated, very clean, spacious and has everything you need. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, peaceful and a short distance to many cultural or nature places Gozo has to offer. We were three families staying at the villa, and absolutely loved it. The pool and the outside area is wonderful and the animals were a big hit with the children and adults alike. The beds are very comfortable with extremely comfy pillows. The bed arrangements didn't suit everyone but James had some foldable beds we could use, so all was happy. He was extremely responsive and helpful and we all had a fantastic time at his place. We'd definitely recommend it and hopefully we'll be back in the future.

La casa è splendida, fa parte di un complesso di 6 villette a schiera su 3 livelli, ogni stanza ha il suo bagno e la pulizia è molto buona. Comodissimi il salone e la cucina e la piastra/bbq all'esterno bordo piscina. Il parcheggio con accesso diretto a casa è un ottimo plus. Se posso dare un consiglio a Simona è quello di curare un pochino in più i dettagli, fornire condimenti base, caffè e tè non scaduti, almeno una tovaglia, qualche bagnodoccia e magari qualche asciugamano per la piscina alzerebbe di molto l'indice di gradimento degli ospiti

Gorgeous, quiet, and serene. We could not have asked for a more perfect place to call home for a few relaxing days.

Wir waren etwas über 2 Wochen bei Alexander. Wir waren zu viert und dafür war das Haus sehr großzügig. Es ist ideal für 6- 8 Personen. Die Zeit verging im Nu im Dar Sara! Eine ideale Lage um auf Gozo alles schnell zu erreichen, gleichzeitig aber auch fern ab des Trubels von Victoria und wirklich ruhig gelegen. Das Haus ist modern, sauber und bietet alles für einen etwas längeren Aufenthalt. Es ist genau wie auf den Bildern. Alexander war immer sofort erreichbar bei Fragen und sehr hilfsbereit! Wir haben uns Dank ihm gleich wie zu Hause gefühlt. Wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder!!! Wir hatten jedenfalls eine unvergessliche Zeit und einen sehr erholsamen Urlaub. Danke für deine Gastfreundschaft Alexander!!!

Harriet the Host was great! Beautiful, spacious, clean home. Loved that it was walking distance from several restaurants and a small market for milk, bread, cereal, fruit. Beds were super comfortable and bedrooms very spacious. Many great Bathrooms and plenty of hot water. The rooms all had AC/Heating that was paid for in 1 Euro coin. This kept the bedrooms warm for the chili evenings. The main living area/kitchen/family room was quite Chilly with the December temperatures and there is not a heating unit in that space. If visiting in winter months I would suggest bringing warm clothes to wear while walking around the home in the morning/evening. The patio and pool area was so beautiful and sunny to sit out on. The Jacuzzi is not heated. It did not say that it was in the listing but the word Jacuzzi made me think it was. We traveled with 2 adults & 4 children( ( ages 2,5,7,9) they loved the uniqueness of the home and the pool area. We would definitely suggest it to any families!

Bernadette est vraiment très accueillante . Elle nous a donné de bons conseils pour les activités sur l île . Sa maison est très grande, propre et conforme à la description qu elle en a faite. Je dirais même qu elle est beaucoup plus jolie en vérité et la piscine est très agréable. Un séjour vraiment très agréable

Me and my friends had a great time in Lora’s house! It looked so much better than at the photos and everyone had their own space. It was clean and comfortable. Even if you don’t pay for air conditioning it’s pretty chill temperature in the house. The sharing areas are perfect for talking and table games and pool is so fun. Highly recommended!

We all thoroughly enjoyed staying at Hofra. The kids loved the pool and we loved the adequately stocked kitchen and barbecue. The two sides of the house made it perfect for two families to be together yet independent. Altogether a very functional and pleasant accommodation 👍🏽
