It is situated on a small farm with cattle and sheep. Guests enjoy sightings of kangaroos, wombats, echidnas, kookaburras & native birds. Local activities include trout fishing, hiking, kayaking, mushrooming, truffle hunts, Waldara weddings, sightseeing in the Blue Mountains, Jenolan Caves, Kanangra Walls and Mayfield Garden. Wentworth Falls Lake is 5 minutes by car, 10 minutes to Leura with its eateries and local boutiques. The cabin is in a garden setting yet completely self-contained with its own entrance. There is a kitchenette with a fridge, kettle, microwave, toaster, and a selection of teas and ground coffee. Our place is good for couples and solo adventurers.

With larger supermarkets Aldi, Cole’s, Woolworths in Katoomba 8mins away. A fully furnished place to unwind and enjoy the fresh mountain air. You won’t be disappoint

Possumwood Cottage

Possumwood is cosy, romantic little cabin set in a peaceful location behind your hosts main residence. An extensive garden is also available to you. The cottage is self-contained, with a small kitchenette (no cooking, microwave only), twin king single beds, bathroom, dining setting, television (foxtel now), wifi and reverse cycle air conditioning. It is the perfect getaway cottage in the beautiful blue mountains for couple or just good mates. Enquire first if you have mobility issues.

Studio 12

Our home is on half an acre of beautiful gardens, with our house on one side and Studio 12 on the other. Studio 12 is studio style accommodation and is one large room that accommodates up to 3 people, and includes a queen and single bed. Tastefully decorated, the kitchenette has microwave, kettle, toaster, bar fridge, electric wok and grill. Linen and towels are supplied. Double french doors open out onto the large garden that separates this accommodation from the main residence.

Mittagong is also close to Bowral, Moss Vale and historic Berrima which all offer a variety of markets, art galleries and local wineries.

We are 10 minutes walk from the main street in Leura and only 5 mins from Mt Hay road which connects you to scores of bush walks including the trail to Lockleys Pylon and the Shortridge Pass to the Blue Gum walking track.
