Waterfront vacation rentals in Winona County

Angie’s place was perfect for our long weekend getaway in LaCrosse. The location was ideal for our purposes. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

We really enjoyed Mark's place. It was perfectly located right in the middle of town - we only visited 3 of the five restaurants within a block of the house. All were fantastic! Mark communicated so well. He answered my questions within minutes of my sending them. The house itself is filled with lovely antiques. We loved the sunroom, right off the kitchen. Perfect place to read a book or just soak up the sun. We shopped kn Winona- found a few cute boutiques with great prices. Visited a brewery, distillery and several wineries. Oh, and I won at Meat-go at the Brothel bar Friday night! We will definitely return!

Great location on Wisconsin's west coast. Logan was super responsive. The unit has lots of space. Great view of the Mississippi from the family room. We were very happy with our stay.

This space was perfect for our big group. Plenty of seating and sleeping arrangements for everyone with tons of extra towels, pillows, and bedding. The location is a quiet and private spot along the river with beautiful views. We liked that it was within walking distance from downtown Winona and loved hanging out around a fire at the end of the day. Julie went above and beyond as a host, was easy to communicate with, and flexible with our checkout time so we could spend more time enjoying each other’s company in her great space!

First time staying here as an alternate option and was happy with the location, stay, and comfort. Definitely considering for future trips for fishing and otherwise.

Amazing location - right on Lake Onalaska with Mississippi National Wildlife trails across the road. Nice place - will definitely be coming back.

the Backwaters Lodge was the perfect place for our trip. It was my companion’s first time in Wisconsin and he got the most perfect representation of it at this place. The host, Dan, was excellent! Made sure we had everything we needed and was always one text away if we needed him! We will absolutely book this place again.

We had an awesome stay and the house was great. The deck had beautiful views of the river, comfy patio furniture, a wonderful fire table and was the perfect setting for our elopement. Bridgett was super responsive, check in and out was easy and the place is well stocked with dishes, glassware, utensils, etc. Plenty of parking but the driveway was a little steeper than expected but that comes with being next to the river and built into the bluffs.

The place is nice, quiet and even though the neighbors are pretty close you still feel very private. The only issue I had was the steps leading down to the dock/water area are a bit treacherous and I couldn’t get the elderly in laws down there but it was still a very nice stay and definitely stay again.
