Lake house vacation rentals in Wilson Lake

we came here for a weekend to visit family. on the second night our car engine blew..our hosts were beyond accommodating in letting us extend our stay. also the neighbors in the park were extremely helpful and welcoming. Had we stayed anywhere else we may still be stranded. Besides our issues, the cabin was super cozy and peaceful. I loved having the creek out back. It wasn't too cold out deep to take our kiddos out to explore. We'll definitely be back, and maybe try kayaking the creek next visit!

This was our family’s third time vacationing at Monica’s lovely home and we enjoy it every time. The lake view is beautiful, the house is spacious and accommodating and very beautifully decorated. We will be back!

My boys and I came down from Illinois to visit family for Thanksgiving. Being 2 are teenagers who want their own space my only options were get a hotel or an Air BnB. I am so happy I chose Will’s place for my family! I cannot say enough about it. The peacefulness of being right on the water and watching the fish jump while sipping my morning coffee was incredible and much needed. My kids loved their rooms and my youngest said it’s the most comfortable bed and pillows he’s ever had! The house was spotless, the linens and towels were pristine white, the kitchen has a table for 6 and a breakfast bar for 4 and has more than enough tableware for a family. Will was a great host, responded quickly and was proactive in contacting me when the thermostat stopped working while we were out, and his brother came over and got it working for us within an hour of us getting back. Not at all a complaint, just highlighting what an amazing host he is. Book this place! We plan on staying here this summer!

out of all the places we've rented on the river, this place was my boys favorite! they absolutely live for fishing and I love to relax while they do it! perfect place for both! it was so clean and cozy! we will most definitely be staying there again.

We have rented this house a bunch of times over the last few years. The hosts are great, the house itself is wonderful and it’s really well equipped (we’ve cooked in the kitchen and on the grills many nights). Comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, tastefully decorated home. Lovely, gently sloping lot, right on the water. Great dock with deep water for swimming (I’m 6’ and have never touched the bottom). There’s a very close grocery store, liquor store and hardware store (maybe 3 minutes away) with lots more stuff more like 10-15 minutes away. There’s a new-ish bar and grill maybe 5 minutes from the house (called The Woods) so if you feel like going out but don’t want to drive all the way into town, that’s an option (on this trip, we went a few times). This house has everything you need for a great experience at the lake. I can’t say enough good about it. This trip, we went with another couple plus our 7 year old and we never felt crowded (there are two living rooms). A+ place, 5 stars.

Candis was a perfect host and the Bluewater house was amazing! Candis was accommodating and the house was just beautiful. We will definitely be back!

Great spot for a relaxing retreat! Loved the location on the river. The house was clean, modern and cozy. Only 20 minutes from downtown Florence. Would definitely return!

Very clean, nice kitchen, country feel. Off the beaten path just enough to get you relaxed before you pull in the driveway. Perfect hosts in every way. Very respectful, and responsive.

Stayed here with our family and friends. and we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. The views were breathtaking and the house was immaculate. We had a great time!

Great fishing spot, very typical Alabama homestead. They are investing in quality structural material, the new windows are excellent. The grounds were mowed, not an easy task, but important for a riverside house. There is lots of seating, tables, and couches. I appreciate them sharing their homestead. Hope they are able to maintain it for the future generations.

This is one the cleanest places I have ever stayed. Newly remodeled and very private. Definitely will stay again!

This was our second year in a row staying here for Rock The South. John is very good about reaponding quick, and his place is very nice. We even made friends with the neighbors while we were there. We will be back again.

Beavers Den is a great description for a home that surpassed our expectations. We are on a busy schedule running from New Orleans through Memphis, ending with a weekend in Nashville before flying home. Beavers Den and the lake gave us a peaceful downtime which was welcomed by the four of us. We cooked on the BBQ by the lake, washed the hectic of New Orleans and Memphis away with a dip in the lake and sat by the log fire with a chilled beer. Mary was responsive and gave great advice on the lodging. Thoroughly recommended location and host. Thank you Mary.

This is an Adorable little blue cabin with a Beautiful view of the water. It's peaceful and calm. Ellery is very responsive which is fabulous and she is kind. Kitchen has everything we needed as well as bathroom. There are extra sheets & blankets if needed. Me and my husband as well as my Mama loved sitting on the screened in porch to have coffee, enjoy the view and just talk. It truly is peaceful and you can watch deer across the water if you have binoculars. You will see turles on logs in the water and Beautiful birds. This cabin is beside a wooded lot on a dead end road with just a few houses but its very quiet. Not far at all from Foodland grocery and restaurants. If we go back down that way to see my uncle again we will rent this home again.

My fiancée, two brothers, and I stayed here for Rock the South. It was a beautiful home in a very peaceful location. We loved the hangout area built on top of the boat house! Morning coffee and watching the sunrise on the lake was amazing! MaryJane was so kind, generous, and responsive throughout our entire time at the house and she made the trip nice and easy and definitely made this a trip we are all going to cherish forever! I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a little bit of everything while in the Pickwick Lake area or simply wanting a lot of nothing but relaxing and recharging. Plenty of space inside, outside and not just space but well thought out space. Sit inside the screened in porch for your morning coffee, relax and unwind on the back deck, sit around the kitchen with your group for dinner or cards, enjoy the living room area while watching TV or just catching up with conversation. Peaceful and just the right distance to town. If you are planning on fishing and bring a boat, plenty of space to park, plug in if needed. Waterloo boat ramp 15/20 minutes and Florence 15/20 minutes. We used the kitchen to cook meals & Everything was as described in the description and the pictures were all accurate and I can’t say enough about the Karen and how amazing she was with our experience. I stay at a lot of places, Karen by far has been the best Host I have experienced going above & beyond.

Wonderful host! Super friendly! It was a wonderful view, and a great clean place to stay! My only change would be a gate on the steps downstairs as it was terrifying with having a 1 year old. But would definitely recommend! Thank you so much!

Carlos was very responsive to our needs. There were some AC problems when we first arrived and he was very prompt to have someone come out and fix the situation. Our only recommendation would be to have some window coverings on the windows to allow to sleep in a little bit longer and for privacy.

Jason has been a great host. We enjoyed the stay and we'll definitely return back again.

This was a great spot for our family over Memorial Day weekend. The access to river & outdoor areas were plentiful. The house was very clean & there was plenty of room for us to spread out. Highly recommend it!

A girl's trip - This was an escape to rival any I've been on. Gorgeous views, serene landscape and immaculately clean accommodations. It's located right on the banks of the Tennessee River and a stones throw from the Natchez Trace Parkway. If you're a bird lover, bring your binoculars because they are abundant here. I was delighted to see - PeeWees, Wrens, Geese, Osprey, Eagles, Fish Crows, Tanangers, Kindbirds, Bluebirds, Phoebe's, Warblers - and a Redheaded Woodpucker couple make their home here. I am a stickler for clean. I am not at all comfortable if it's not pristine. This place was pristine. The linens were top quality and abundant. The house was spotless, as were the grounds. I will book this house again and again when in the area. Don't miss this opportunity to relax in nature.

Terry is a great guy and host. He would ask if there was anything he could do to help. He was very kind and offered anything he had. Our trailer broke on the day we were leaving and he got in touch with someone to get it fixed (even on a sunday.) Couldn't ask for more.

This is a lovely, spacious home, located steps away from the lake. It's great for a large family or group. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen is great for cooking, and there is plenty of space to hang out indoors and outdoors. The two beds in the loft don't have doors/walls so folks that stay there have to stay up until others clear the living room area. Also, one of the rooms downstairs doesn't have windows so it gets stuffy unless you blast the air. On the flip side, its the quietest room which is great for a napping baby. Overall, it's a great space and we would stay there again.
