Welcome to your humble abode in Whitianga

The cabin is great for couples, families, backpackers and everyone in between. It has a modern but homely feel. Great indoor/outdoor flow and lovely bbq area to unwind at the end of your day. The cabins situated in a nice peaceful street. Walking distance to the estuary & lovers rock. The park is just across the road. The shops are a 20 min walk away or a quick bike ride to the beach! Come on up, down, over, across or which ever direction on the globe your coming from. I would love to host you.

Your hostess, Dorothy sailed the world with husband Derek. I am now comfortably settled in our shore-side residence. Come and be at home here. As the canal-front is unfenced, I am sorry, we cannot accept children.

We have two spacious, comfortable studio units tucked privately away in a garden setting on our 1400sqm property close to Whitianga's upgraded town centre, marina, supermarkets and The Warehouse. Beach, estuary, cafés, bars and eateries are also handy - everything is approximately within a 10-15 minute walk. The units have ensuite bathrooms, tea and coffee making facilities, microwave, Freeview TV, free wi-fi, a queen bed, indoor-outdoor flow with a garden outlook. Guest parking on-site.

A modern kitchenette is featured, equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, kettle, and a selection of dinnerware. Soft lighting illuminates the dark cabinetry, enhancing the clean lines. A separate doorway leads to a cozy sleeping area in the background, visible beyond the kitchen.

Not suitable children. Short walk to Whitianga township and shops. Private, comfortable and clean. Limited Wifi reception, best at outside table. Queen bed, table and chairs and kitchenette in one room. Smart tv. Toaster, jug, microwave, plates, cups and cutlery, tea, coffee and sugar. No oven, stovetop or BBQ. Soap, towels, sheets and bedding supplied. There is a heater for winter and a fan for summer. Lovely private outdoor area with table and chairs. Suit couples. Max 2 adults.

The apartment is spacious and modern with stunning views over the marina. It is well equipped with everything you could need. We received clear instructions making it easy to find and access the property. We had a very enjoyable few days exploring the beautiful coastline around Whitianga.

Surrounded by lush tropical plants, a pathway composed of stepping stones leads to an open studio space. Large glass doors invite natural light and provide views into the modern interior, where soft furnishings and a ceiling fan can be seen.

My husband and I stayed here during our honeymoon and loved Yvonne’s space! She was the most wonderful host, going above and beyond to make sure we had an excellent stay. The unit was clean, well-appointed, and relaxing. We are hoping to return in the future and can’t say enough good things!

Gillian and Dave’s place was beautiful and set in a peaceful, scenic area with breathtaking views. It looked just like the pictures, and even better in person. The place was spacious and the kitchen had everything we needed. Gillian and Dave were excellent hosts. They were attentive, quick to respond to us, and respected our privacy which we really appreciated. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to others 😊

We had a warm welcoming by Ken who shared so much local information. We were lucky and got a free upgrade too! Free use of the kayaks were amazing to explore around the bay, such a great location walking distance to all local restaurants. The place was beautiful, loved the hot tub! Recommend to anyone who is exploring this lovely destination. We will be back! Thanks Lynette & team for the wonderful stay!

When you are looking for a place to stay on the coromandel this is the place you want! The stay is beautiful, the hosts are so kind and have great advice on places to visit! The place is a 2 minute walk to the beautiful beach and the town is an equal walk. My husband highly recommends the Espy cafe for breakfast as the smoked salmon Benny is unreal. Just make sure to take the ferry across to hike Shakespeare point to work it off. Cheers!
